In the Memorial Hall District, on Orosei Street, in another Apartment.

Lumian placed the half-cold Fielt Fish in front of Ludwig.

When Ludwig saw the fried fish in the exquisite wooden box, his eyes lit up, and he quickly turned his head to look at Lugano.

Lugano understood what he meant, and rummaged through the newly rented room to find children's cutlery and handed it Past.

Lumian leaned back in his chair, watching Ludwig cut the remaining half of the fish into pieces and chew and swallow it, meat and bones alike.

Before he could ask, Ludwig, with his eyes half-closed and seemingly enjoying himself, said, "The Fielter Firefish is a mutated fish caused by Corruption from the Fourth Epoch Trier. Its species stabilized 769 years ago. It mainly lives in the Danluo Section of the Madar Underground River. Its flesh and blood can be mixed with various Sunflower to make a ' Warm Cocktail.' After drinking it, it can resist the effects of severe cold to a certain extent for half an hour."

"The Fielter Firefish has lived for over ten years, is a spiritually rich Ingredient. Its flesh, the blood of a Sequence Beyonder Mid-Sequence the ' Hunter ' Pathway, ice, and lemon juice can be used to cook ' Icy Lemon Fish Fillet.' Anyone who eats it for the first time will have a permanent reduction in the damage from Flames. Eating it again will strengthen this effect, but it only lasts for half an hour."

According to Franca, the first dose permanently increases fire resistance, while subsequent doses provide only temporary buffs... Lumian nodded in understanding.

Lugano, standing nearby, listened in stunned silence:

Ludwig actually knew how to cook?

And it involves cooking with supernatural powers!

Can I help him obtain Ingredient that are considered spiritually potent, so he can make similar dishes for me?

That seems to permanently enhance some of my abilities!

After Ludwig finished eating, Lumian suddenly thought of something:

Franca's Ritual to ascend to the rank of "Witch of Pain" was to "survive being burned at the Stake for fifteen minutes without using a substitute, and without going insane."

"If Franca could eat the ' Icy Lemon Fish Fillet ' made from the Fielter Firefish, which would increase her Flames resistance, that would be great. Although the Pain wouldn't be reduced, her chances of surviving the burning would greatly increase. She could also eat some more temporarily before the Ritual." Lumian's thoughts raced, and he quickly made a decision.

Today we'll head to the Underground Trier to find the Fielter Firefish that has lived for over ten years!

Lumian took out a map of the Underground Trier that he had reconstructed from memory from his "Traveler’s Bag"—the one Gardner Martin had once shown him—and began searching for the location of the Danluo Section of the Madar Underground River.

As he examined it, he asked Ludwig with a smile:

"How can you pinpoint the exact place of origin? Does the Fielter Firefish know the name of the river it swims in?"

Ludwig licked his lips, seemingly still wanting more.

They do know.

"Through long-term fishing, humans inevitably mention river names and river sections. After hearing these names repeatedly, even if the Fielter Firefish doesn't understand what they mean, it will instinctively memorize them in the corresponding cells."

"I see." Lumian had only meant it as a joke, but she hadn't expected such a serious answer.

He pointed to himself and asked curiously, "Can eating ' Icy Lemon Fish Fillet ' reduce the burn damage from Flames?"

As a "Reaper," Lumian is inherently less susceptible to damage from Flames.

Ludwig picked up a tiny piece of fish, about the size of a grain of rice, from inside the exquisite wooden box and showed it to Lumian:

"Just a tiny bit."

After saying that, the little boy stuffed the remaining food into his mouth, not wasting any of it.

"Alright," Lumian said with a smile and a sigh, "Something is better than nothing."

He planned to get himself a special "Icy Lemon Fish Fillet," and Jenna, Anthony, Lugano, and Ludwig would each get one!

To accomplish this, Lumian asked, "What's the difference between Fielter Firefish that has lived for over ten years and a regular Fielter Firefish?"

Ludwig recited in a textbook-like tone. "The Fielter Firefish, which has lived for more than ten years, is nearly a meter long and hides in Cavern at the bottom of the river. It does not normally approach the water's surface, but it is sensitive to blood and food rich in spiritual energy. It is extremely Aggressiveness and willing to take any risk when in an instinctive state."

"Their skin has hardened, making them resistant to Fishing Spear Gun. Sharp Teeth have grown in their mouths, allowing them to Devouring humans who fall into the river. Their blood also has a certain burning property."

After listening carefully, Lumian calmly made a judgment:

The Fielter Firefish have survived for more than ten years do not possess Beyonder Characteristic, nor have they acquired supernatural powers in a Gift way. They belong to a population that has been Corruption but has since stabilized.

If they were allowed to live in a similar environment for tens of thousands of years, they might evolve into creatures like the Batins Black Insect, with their own complete society.

Putting away the map, Lumian stood up. Before leaving, he glanced at Ludwig and asked thoughtfully, "Besides the permanent improvements, do similar special cooking methods include negative effects such as Corruption?"

Ludwig looked Lumian up and down a few times, then fell silent for a moment.

Lumian suspected that the guy was mocking him.

A person whose environment is already severely Corruption has no need to worry about such a small amount of Corruption.

After a few seconds, Ludwig said, "I'm just a child, I don't understand these things. I only know that if you want to eat better and more delicious food, you have to bear the corresponding risks. Those who are unwilling can choose not to eat..."

At this point, Ludwig instinctively added:

"If you don't want to eat, you can choose to leave the food for me."

Lumian nodded slightly, opened the door, and walked out of the Apartment.

In the Underground Trier, the Madar River flows through a quiet, empty, dark Cavern, its rushing sound echoing far and wide.

Lumian, Franca, and Jenna emerged from the shadows, one carrying Carbide Lamp, the other two empty-handed.

This section of the Underground River was guarded by suppliers who wanted to monopolize the Ingredient, the Fielter Firefish. But this was no challenge for a "Hunter" and two "Witch." Using the shadows, they crossed the patrol area and successfully reached the riverbank.

Lumian raised his Carbide Lamp and discovered that the Underground River was not only wide but also deep, with what appeared to be several submerged Cavern at the bottom, where many strangely shaped fish swam around.

After a brief observation, Lumian set down the Carbide Lamp, rolled up his sleeves, and squatted down by the river.

He then plunged his right arm into the icy water.

"Are you just going to keep fishing like this?" Franca knew Lumian liked "Fishing," but she didn't expect that even when the prey was actually a fish, he was still Fishing.

"What else?" Lumian chuckled. "Take off your clothes, dive into the underwater Cavern, and grab it directly?"

"It's not impossible," Franca said with a smile, "It'll be a good opportunity to admire your figure."

Lumian ignored the guy and a thin layer of Blazing White Flames shot out from the tip of his thumb.

The Flames didn't extinguish quickly in the water; instead, supported by Lumian's spirituality, it transformed into the shape of a knife and gently sliced his index finger.

A drop of blood spilled out and quickly spread.

The Fielter Firefish, swimming in the shallows of the river, seemed to sense something terrifying and quickly fled from the area where blood was seeping out.

Before long, one after another, huge Fielter Firefish with charred and hard skin emerged from the Cavern of the river.

One of them swam the fastest, and in the blink of an eye, it was in front of Lumian's right hand, opened its mouth, and revealed its sharp, white Teeth.

Before it could even snap its jaws open, Lumian suddenly clenched its fist and, instead of retreating, thrust it into its mouth.

With a thud, Lumian grabbed the skull and dragged the enormous Fielt Fish out of the river.

Silently, clusters of cold, Evil black Flames ignited in the river, burning the Lumian blood that had seeped into the water.

This is from Jenna.

"You can go back now." Lumian tossed the giant Fielt Fish to Franca.

As Franca froze the Ingredient with Frost and stuffed them into her "Traveler's Bag," she looked around as if deep in thought.

"What are you thinking about?" Lumian.

Franca pointed in a direction and said, "I remember we entered a special Mirror World nearby and obtained that mirror and the book that allowed Anthony and me to enter the Classical Silver Mirror of Fourth Epoch Trier."

"Yes." Lumian gestured for Franca to continue.

Franca looked away and said, "I was thinking, if we could use the Mirror World, could we ambush Moran Avignon?"

"I'm referring to the Mirror World in the conventional sense, the mirror world that connects all the Mirror in the Mirror World."

The Mirror World in the conventional sense is closer to a collection of the concept of 'doors' than a real world; it is a complex passage connecting different Mirror and different mysterious realms.

In other words, if Franca can utilize the Mirror World and master the correct positioning, she can hide directly behind the Mirror that Moran Avignon often uses and launch an attack as soon as the other party enters.

"What are you really trying to say?" Lumian raised an eyebrow.

Franca eagerly asked, "Since Fourth Epoch Trier leaks out a little Corruption, creating special creatures like the Fielter Firefish and the Special Mirror World we explored before, could there be a corner in this vast Underground where a small amount of high-ranking Witch power has been Corruption for a long time?"

"Would it be possible to pass through the mirror and enter the mirror world there without becoming a demigod witch?"

Lumian thought about it carefully and said, "Possibly."

Jenna's Eyes flickered slightly as she asked, "Could it be the place where you found the special Mirror?"

"That area is definitely Corruption by some spillover of power from the Fourth Epoch Trier Mirror World."

"We can Past take a look," Lumian laughed. "No need to rush. If all else fails, we can wait until Hisoka's Beyonder Characteristic are made into Sealed Artifact. That might allow us to transform into ' Wraith ' and hide in the Mirror. Of course, I'm not sure if ' Wraith ' can utilize the Mirror World."

"Anyway, let's go look for it first!" Franca took out her Mirror World Fragment.

She hoped the item would provide some kind of special sensory experience.

Lumian glanced at it, pondered for a few seconds, and said seriously, "Taking the Mirror World Fragment shouldn't be of any use."

"Bring out the Statue of the ' Primordial Witch '."
