Arrival
While setting up the Ritual, Franca pondered and said to Lumian, "The Mirror coordinates cannot be described in language; they can only be obtained through Mysticism giving. ' Magic Mirror Spiritism ' cannot accomplish this, so I intend to use normal Spiritism."
While her "Magic Mirror Spiritism" greatly increased the duration of the Spiritism and the number of questions the target spirit could answer, it was also limited by the Mirror as a medium, thus losing the possibility of other interactions.
"In a normal Spiritism session, the things we can ask are very limited..." Lumian pondered for a few seconds and said, "The first question is to get the coordinates of the ' Supervisor's ' Mirror to us. The second question is to ask where the Classical Silver Mirror used to communicate with their leader during Ritual is. The third question is to ask who the ' Person in the Mirror ' who are in contact with him are, where they are, and what their real identities are. Answer in order of importance."
Once the third question is answered, the "Spiritism" Ritual should end naturally. Lumian even doubted that Moran Avignon would be able to "introduce" all the "Person in the Mirror" in his line of work, so he asked them to be ordered by importance, starting with the "Person in the Mirror" who was currently the most important or had the most important responsibilities.
"Classical Silver Mirror?" Franca asked in confusion.
"Yes, Moran Avignon has a Mirror just like the Classical Silver Mirror you once owned; it's the key to communicating with Roselle in the Mirror," Lumian replied simply.
As he spoke, he crouched down and began groping in Moran Avignon's pockets.
He was disappointed to find that the Minister of Ministry of Industry had only a few large Banknotes and some change, totaling 3,212 Felkine.
In addition to Cash, there were gold pocket watches with exquisite mechanical artistry, beautifully embroidered handkerchiefs, and wallets from Persona and Artisan.
None of them possessed extraordinary power!
Lumian couldn't help but imitate Franca, cursing inwardly:
"You poor wretch!"
In fact, he could understand that Moran Avignon, as the current Minister of Ministry of Industry, was under the strict protection of the Official Beyonder and was unlikely to keep Mystical Item or Beyonder weapon on his person to avoid exposing his abnormality.
--He is Sequence 5 "Disciplinary Paladin" in the "Judgement" Pathway. If this fact were made public to the two major Church, it would be difficult to explain where the Potion Formula and Beyonder Characteristic of this level would come from. When he signed the Contract, he at most stated that he was Beyonder in the corresponding Pathway, without mentioning the specific Sequence. Afterward, he would lose the opportunity to obtain items openly and could only obtain them through "Broker," which could not be known to the Official Beyonder.
For Moran Avignon and the book, he didn't actually need to ask the "Supervisor" to help him do a "Behind-the-Scenes Manipulation" to create an opportunity to openly access and obtain Mystical Item, because the "Person in the Mirror" could transmit things through the Mirror. If he really needed to use an item to achieve a certain purpose, he could simply contact the corresponding companions and ask them to "send" the item over, and return it immediately after using it.
Lumian sighed, put away his Banknotes, pocket watch, and other belongings, and stood up.
As he watched Franca complete the Spiritism, he said to Jenna, who continued writing her letter, "You were very decisive when you fired the gun just now. Didn't you feel any guilt?"
"This isn't a battle. We've been exchanging pleasantries with Moran Avignon for quite some time now, and I feel like we've become friends."
Jenna glanced at Lumian, then chuckled softly as she wrote a letter on the protruding rocks of the cliff face in front of her.
Are you worried that I'm suppressing my discomfort and causing problems, so you're thinking of doing some counseling as a part-time Psychiatrist?
Anthony Reid, who had been quietly listening and perfectly Acting of "Spectator," touched his nose slightly awkwardly.
This appears to be his job.
But he could tell that neither Jenna nor Franca needed any guidance.
Lumian didn't answer Jenna's question directly, but smiled and said, "You haven't killed many people yourself."
"If we hadn't fired, would you have done it? Even though you think you've become friends with Moran Avignon, I believe you would have blown his head off without hesitation," Jenna asked with a smile.
Lumian chuckled.
"I'm different. I've killed countless people."
Jenna glanced at him again:
"Moran Avignon recounted his crimes. He dragged the real Moran Avignon into Mirror, Imprisonment for a time, and then brutally murdered him. I have no psychological burden regarding the Execution of Criminal."
"You've changed..." Lumian sighed, joking, "You used to rely on the Police and official power to Punishment bad guys."
Jenna didn't respond to him anymore, because Franca had already completed the Spiritism.
As the candlelight, tinged with a dark green hue, flickered, Moran Avignon's spirit appeared above his Corpse, and was seen by those who had activated their "Spirit Vision."
Franca wasted no time. As she removed the glass-like "Mirror Buckle" from her cuff, she said to Moran Avignon's Spirit Body, "Tell me the coordinates of That One ' Supervisor's' Mirror."
Moran Avignon's blurry, sinister face Distortion instantly.
But having lost his life, he was no longer subject to the powerful self-restraint and soon could not resist the effects of the Spiritism. He stretched out his right hand, gesturing for Franca to give him the "Mirror Buckle".
Franca, who was prepared, immediately handed Past the "Mirror Buckle".
Moran Avignon's spirit grasped the Cufflink, Gloom light flashing across his body, gathering on the glass-like surface of the button and seeping into it.
After getting the "Mirror Buckle" back, Franca quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
The most important thing is done; everything else is just extra benefit!
Franca's spirits lifted, and she began to inquire of Moran Avignon with great interest:
"Do you have a classic silver Mirror that you could use, wait a minute..."
She suddenly realized that this was also a problem, so she quickly changed her question:
"Where is that Classical Silver Mirror that helped the ' Supervisor ' communicate with your leader?"
Lumian has already confirmed that it's not on Moran Avignon.
Moran Avignon's spirit replied coldly and stiffly, "With Griffith, when I need to use it, I have him give it to me through the Mirror."
Franca was initially delighted, but then immediately cursed in annoyance:
"Hold!"
She realized she couldn't get Moran Avignon to provide the coordinates of Griffith's Mirror.
There was only one question left in the Spiritism: she had to ask Moran Avignon who the "Person in the Mirror" she was in charge of contacting were, and what their real identities were. She couldn't add the requirement of providing the Mirror with coordinates!
Lumian and Anthony instantly understood why Franca was blaming herself, but there was nothing they could do about it. Some questions depended on previous answers, and providing the Mirror coordinates couldn't be accomplished through "Magic Mirror Spiritism."
After calming herself down, Franca gazed at Moran Avignon's spirit and organized her thoughts, saying, "Who are the ' Person in the Mirror ' who maintain contact with you, and what are they doing in reality? Let's start with the most important ones: status and responsibility."
Moran Avignon's already Paleness and blurry face Distortion once more as he struggled, yet answered rather stiffly, "There's Griffith. He's practically my second-in-command. His original form was Core Member of the ' Moses Ascetic Order.' He's using our help to gradually elevate his position within the ' Moses Ascetic Order,' hoping that one day this Concealment organization will join the alliance that will break the Fourth Epoch Trier Seal..."
"The Moses Ascetic Order"... Isn't that the Concealment organization that opposes the "Dawn of the Elements" of Bernadette, the Eldest Daughter of the Emperor? I remember they are mainly composed of Beyonder who have passed the "Mystery Pryer" Pathway... I wonder if there are any members of the "Moses Ascetic Order" or "Dawn of the Elements" within the Society. There should be others like me who belong to more than one Concealment organization... Franca listened attentively and without interrupting Moran Avignon's narration.
Moran Avignon mentioned a second "Person in the Mirror":
"Kalatanza Tamara, a member of our branch of the Tamara Family, joined the army and is currently a colonel. Under the guise of killing spies from the Kingdom of Loen and obtaining the Potion Formula and properties of the ' Judgement ' Pathway, he has openly revealed his Beyond Ability on the stage..."
"Palia, whose original form was Mineralogist, has now joined the ' Trier Cave Association ' to conceal her efforts to find the weak point in the seal..."
"Spot, the Deputy Minister of the Trier Police Department and Police Commissioner of Trier, was specifically Corruption during a mission. He was then deliberately ambushed by Griffith and Karatanza and dragged into Mirror in exchange for the Spot in the mirror to emerge and take his place..."
At this point, Moran Avignon's spirit became increasingly ethereal, as if it might dissipate at any moment.
At this moment, Jenna finished writing the letter and turned to Lumian, saying, "I will go and summon the Messenger of Lady ' Judgement ' now."
As soon as she finished speaking, a faint voice, seemingly from afar, rang in the ears of her and Lumian:
"No need to summon anymore."
Lumian, Franca, Jenna, and Anthony all sensed something and turned their gaze to the side of the Quarry Cavern.
In the dim environment where only the light of Carbide Lamp and Candle existed, streaks of brilliant Starlight condensed in the void, quickly outlining a dreamlike double door.
Without a sound, the gate opened, and a huge Pumpkin Carriage, pulled by many gray Rat, drove out.
Inside the carriage sat three Lady: one was the "Magician," who wore a Ivory -colored, high-necked Long Dress with Golden embroidery; another was the "Judgement," who had shoulder-length blonde hair and wore Gray-White Knight's Outfit with brown Leather Armor.
Another Lady wore a purple Robe with mysterious patterns, with Astrolabe and other items hanging from her waist, and a pair of very elegant glasses perched on her nose.
In her left hand she held a Strange Lamp, covered with mysterious patterns, with a Golden surface, resembling a kettle.
