Three items
After confirming his physical condition and pondering for a while, Lumian slowly moved along the wall of the spacious corridor.
During this process, he almost emptied his mind, not thinking or analyzing, only focusing on whether he would be reflected in the Silver Full-Length Mirror at the end of the dark corridor.
Finally, Lumian stopped, following his instincts.
He hoped to use the Convergence Law of Beyonder Characteristics and the "Fate Hunter's " sensitivity to Destiny to help him find the room that was most "suitable" for him from those Starlight Gate.
That might include High Sequence items from the "Hunter" Pathway, or even the Main Ingredient for "Iron-Blooded Knight" Potion!
Gazing at the semi-transparent door beside him, formed from glittering Starlight, Lumian lowered his voice and asked in a low voice, "Termiboros, do you think there might be great danger inside?"
Having experienced the "School of Truth" incident, Lumian became increasingly wary and cautious of this Angel from the realm of Fate. However, this did not mean that he would never consult the other party's opinion. As long as the occasion and the preconditions were right, Termiboros could still provide effective advice.
Just like now, with the "Magician" Lady outside, Termiboros has almost no hope of escaping the seal. His own death or Mutation would only lead him to a worse situation. Under these circumstances, he would most likely give some kind of warning about the danger.
Lumian could not see the Change in his own Destiny, but Termiboros could!
Termiboros remained silent and did not answer Lumian's question.
Lumian was not disappointed. He placed his right palm, still activated by the Residual Aura of the "Blood Emperor," on the Handle of the Starlight Gate in front of him.
He slowly twisted his hand, assuming a posture as if to push open the door, waiting for Termiboros to give a certain response.
The Starlight Gate slowly opened, without Termiboros offering any warning.
"No reaction is also a reaction! It means that the danger in the room is something I can handle, or that I will likely get help..." Lumian calmly pushed open the Starlight Gate and walked into the room behind it, which was ruled by Gloom.
Suddenly, a Blazing White blue light appeared, and a Iron-Black Straight Sword Burning with terrifying Flames cleaved down toward his head.
Having prepared for any unforeseen circumstances, Lumian quickly activated the Black Mark on his right shoulder and Flash to the side of the room.
Bang!
The black Straight Sword, covered in Blazing White and blue Flames, slammed heavily into the translucent Starlight ground, creating a deep crack.
Inside the crack, some of the Starlight melted, appearing as if Magma was flowing.
Using the flying sparks, Lumian saw who had attacked him.
It was a full suit of Iron-Black Full-Body Armor, nearly two and a half meters long. There was nothing like the firelight in the eyes of Undead under the visor; it was completely dark, as if no one was wearing it at all.
With a whoosh, the Iron-Black Full-Body Armor turned around, looked at Lumian, and once again raised the large Straight Sword covered in Blazing White and blue Flames.
Before this, Lumian's blue Eyes had already turned iron black.
He spotted the weakness in the Half-Giant-Style Full-Body Armor: patches of pale Pale White at several joints.
As the black Straight Sword, streaked with fire, slashed down, Lumian once again used "Teleportation" and vanished from the spot.
With a bang, Flames Blazing White and bluish Library scattered in all directions, while Lumian's figure was outlined behind his full-body Iron-Black Full-Body Armor.
He suddenly jumped up, his right fist Burning into a Blazing White Flames.
The sound echoed as Lumian punched the junction between the helmet and body armor of the Iron-Black Full-Body Armor.
"Harvest!"
Having landed a punch, Lumian immediately Teleportation away, dodging a half-turning, waist-sweeping strike from the Iron-Black Full-Body Armor.
In this way, relying on the high mobility of "Teleportation", he constantly appeared behind the target, using "Harvest" to strike the same position, and never Greed, completing only one strike with each Flash.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
After five consecutive "Harvest," the Iron-Black Full-Body Armor stood frozen in place.
The grotesque gash spread rapidly from the junction of its helmet and armor to various parts of its body, soon covering its entire surface.
Snap!
The Iron-Black Full-Body Armor completely shattered, and pieces of metal shards rained down on the Starlight -formed ground, creating a pattering sound like raindrops.
Then, the large Straight Sword covered in Blazing White and blue Flames fell to the ground.
"It has no intelligence and its movements are clumsy. It's stronger than Sequence 6 but weaker than Sequence 5. But that Straight Sword has extremely high attack power. If I were hit, unless I used an activated shadow to replace it, I would definitely die on the spot or lose my limbs. And that's only because the opponent didn't hit my torso. Hmm, it's also very hard, even harder than the ' Guardian ' I encountered in the Dream Festival..." Lumian used the corner of his eye to examine the state of the broken armor, while using the remaining firelight on the black Straight Sword to observe the entire room in case of other accidents.
The place was quite empty, with only an Altar -like Stone Platform on which sat a small, transparent Glass Bottle Glass Bottle a pale yellow and reddish Semi-Solid Substance, with a thick Black Wick inserted at the top.
"Candle with magical effects?" Lumian made a rough assessment. "I wonder what it's for..."
By this time, he was basically certain that there were no other unexpected events, and turned his attention back to the pile of fragments that had been broken off from the Iron-Black Full-Body Armor.
He discovered a strange Leather among the fragments.
The Leather appeared to be about half the size of a towel, with a pure white color and a delicate texture. Even from a distance, it gave Lumian the Charm that it was so alluring and should have belonged to a beautiful Women.
"Human Skin?" Lumian muttered, frowning slightly, and Past.
Instead of immediately picking up the black Straight Sword, whose surface Flames had mostly died down, and the alluring white Leather, he first took out a Dagger from the "Traveler’s Bag."
Using the Dagger, Lumian pried out the Leather and revealed it to his eyes.
The first thing that caught his eye was a few black Ancient Hermetic Vocabulary:
"Despair...
"Sequence 4..."
Suddenly, Lumian felt his breathing become heavy, his head spin, and his physical condition visibly deteriorate.
He quickly looked away and used his Dagger to pick up the pristine white Leather, stuffing it along with the leather into the "Traveler’s Bag."
His discomfort gradually subsided.
"The ' Witch of Despair's' Potion Formula?" Lumian recalled what he had just seen and made a certain deduction. "And the Leather on which the recipe was written was directly peeled off the body of a certain ' Witch of Despair,' so it's inherently special and dangerous? No wonder it's a treasure left behind by the Tudor Dynasty; they even have something like this..."
Amidst a jumble of thoughts, Lumian's gaze shifted to the black Straight Sword whose Blazing White and bluish Flames were growing dimmer and less dazzling than before.
He hesitated for a moment, not daring to risk confirming the item's abilities, effects, and negative effects right now. Instead, he took off the "Traveler’s Bag," put it inside, and placed it in a corner where there were no other items around.
Using the same method, Lumian also packed the strange Candle, housed in Glass Bottle, into the "Traveler’s Bag."
He planned to consult the "Magician" Lady about the items after he left, rather than trying them out on his own!
After confirming that there was nothing else in the room, Lumian returned to the deep and spacious corridor through the Starlight Gate.
Just as he was about to continue relying on the Convergence Law of Beyonder Characteristics and the "Fate Hunter's " sensitivity to Destiny to choose the next room to explore, a faint voice, seemingly from the horizon, suddenly rang in his ears:
"The other rooms are too dangerous for you..."
This is the voice of the "Magician" Lady.
She and Mr. The Hanged Man were indeed watching... Did that sentence mean the exploration would temporarily come to an end? Lumian's mind instantly became much more certain.
He thought for a few seconds and decided to do one last thing before leaving this alternate Alternate Dimension.
He slowly and deliberately circled around to the Silver Full-Length Mirror at the end of the corridor, his mind fully focused, intending to turn and leave immediately upon hearing the "Magician" Lady's words of dissuasion.
The "Magician" Lady did not stop him until he reached the side of the Silver Full-Length Mirror.
Lumian took a deep breath and carefully moved his right palm toward the front of the Silver Full-Length Mirror.
He didn't know if the Silver Full-Length Mirror, which only reflected a palm, would trigger its abnormality again.
As his hand moved slowly, Lumian's nerves remained taut.
Finally, he touched the surface of the Mirror and felt its coldness, which was both fragile and hard.
Immediately afterwards, Lumian activated the Contract Ability from "Bloody Jack," "Mirror Image Mark"!
He wanted to test whether he could still sense the traces left in this Concealment space after returning to the outside world.
The Blood-Colored seeped from his palm into the mirror, creating an inverted image.
While waiting, Lumian suddenly had a thought:
"Was my recent experience a negative consequence of the ' Mirror Image Mark ' Contract? This definitely falls under the category of Mirror- related anomalies and eerie dangers..."
In the blink of an eye, Lumian had left his "Mirror Image Mark".
After finishing this task, he began to retrace his steps, avoiding areas that would be reflected in the Silver Full-Length Mirror, and walked step by step up the wooden steps.
Before long, Lumian's eyes lit up as he saw the wall lamps and dim firelight on both sides of the Cabin.
He "returned" to the "Blue Avenger".
Upon reaching the foreground of the deck, before Lumian could even ask the "Magician" Lady to retrieve the three items he had acquired from the "Traveler’s Bag" and perform the corresponding "appraisal," he heard the holder of the Major Arcana laugh and say, "As expected of a ' Hunter ' with False Angel-Level and the Residual Aura Tudor's aura, you've obtained three items closely related to ' Hunter ' and ' Witch ' in one go."
"That Straight Sword is what you've been waiting for; it's crafted using the Beyonder Characteristic of the ' Iron-Blooded Knight.'"
