"Witch of Despair"
Within two or three minutes, a large number of Exiles poured into the Square in front of the Knowledge Church. Some, having been accidentally bumped into, chose to duel on the spot; some quietly straightened their necks to prevent them from tilting too much; some, bored, began to sing loudly; and some played a game of slapping each other...
Lumian stood on the steps, holding the Beyonder Characteristic of the "Witch of Despair," and looked expressionlessly at the Banishment Serious Criminals.
Time is running out... Lumian murmured silently, turning back to look at the Knowledge Church once more, but still did not see Archbishop of Morola Heraberg of Morola.
He finally gave up and turned his attention back to the Exiles who almost filled the entire Square.
That's definitely over 30,000.
Lumian suddenly burst into laughter, his body trembling with mirth.
He seemed to have many options, but after considering environmental factors, time constraints, the current situation, and his own Lingering Obsession, there was only one path left.
There was only one path before him.
After laughing for about ten seconds, Lumian, dressed in a white shirt, Black Waistcoat, Dark Trousers, and lace-up leather shoes, walked down the steps and into the sea of people.
The Exiles near the Knowledge Church area began to sense something was wrong; they felt weak all over, wanting to slap the person opposite them, but it was as if they were being caressed.
Some of them instinctively wanted to escape, but their legs were too weak, their bodies felt heavy, and they could only move slowly.
With a whoosh, a series of Blazing White and blue Fireball shot out from Lumian. They flew over the Exiles infected with the Mysticism disease and landed at the edge of the Square, which the Exiles strangely ignored.
Rumble!
The Fireball exploded simultaneously, engulfing the Square in Blazing White Flame Hell. The temperature gradually rose, and billowing smoke filled the air.
Thump, thump, thump—countless Exiles, their illnesses worsening, collapsed to the ground, watching other hardened Serious Criminals, still possessing some strength, trample over them, watching the Blazing White Flame in the distance illuminate the sky, slowly engulfing them.
Pain and Despair quickly filled their minds, consuming their Rationality.
Someone tried to shout for help, but even their voice was so weak.
Rumble!
Amidst the continuous explosions, Lumian walked out of the Square, into the spreading sea of fire, and onto the nearest street.
Rumble!
The houses on both sides of the street were either blown down by the Blazing White- blue Fireball or set on fire, bursting into fierce Flames like torches.
One after another, the Serious Criminals in the Square collapsed, Despair feeling the Pain of the disease that left them powerless, and waiting for death.
Lumian took out a Glass Bottle and placed inside in turn the Beyonder Characteristic of the "Witch of Despair," the bile of the Plague Mother Snake, fragments of the Silver Hunter, the blood of different Plague victims, and fresh Mistletoe.
Bubbles rose and churned, and the deep purple Potion shimmered with a rose-red light.
Lumian looked at the Potion and chuckled in a low voice:
"Rest assured, I already know my insignificance, and I will face Despair, and embark on the Witch pathway."
"But this is so that I won't be controlled in the future, so that I can choose the ending I want!"
After saying that, he walked forward, brought the bottle to his lips, tilted his head back, and drank it down.
The Exiles who were still standing in the Square suddenly felt as if their Pain and Despair had solidified into something tangible, turning into invisible threads that stretched toward the burning street and toward the figure whose back was to them.
They finally "woke up," but by then they were too ill to fight the murderer, and some had even been engulfed by Flames that burned their bodies.
They saw the figure walk step by step among the burning buildings, through streets that had become Flame Hell, and under a bright Crimson sky, her hair floating up strand by strand, growing longer, darker, and thicker.
Two stars seemed to light up in mid-air, and the Blazing White blue Flames that filled the area, spanning the sky and the earth, were suddenly stained with Pitch-Black.
This blackness, like Flood, quickly submerged all light, making the Flames Hell quiet, deep, and Gloom.
In the Special Mirror World, in the dark, abandoned park-like setting where Franca and the others fought against the "Society of the End of All Things" Higdon.
The Higdon, covered in Yellowish Green slime, has split into four, each searching for different targets, while Franca and Jenna Burning by quiet "Witch" Black Flame.
These Black Flame Burning with the spirituality of disease, yet were gradually dimmed by the Decay power that accompanied the disease, until they were extinguished.
If it weren't for the discovery that these diseases splitting off from Higdon possessed a certain spirituality and could be ignited by the "Witch's" Black Flame, thus reducing their speed and intensity of infecting humans, Franca felt that she and Jenna would definitely have already exhausted their "Mirror Substitute" and could just wait to die.
Meanwhile, the "Pride Armor" also played a very important role. This Sealed Artifact was almost unaffected by Higdon's diseases, nor was it rusted and on the verge of destruction by the power of Decay. It remained vigorous and pursued Higdon, who dared to attack its back, occasionally unleashing a "Storm of Light".
During the battle, Franca and Jenna discovered another problem.
They didn't know if it was because Higdon was brainless or if this Half-God was just unlucky, always making the choices that were most advantageous to them, causing their "Certain Death" attacks to miss.
This combination of two "Witch" and Anthony, who used "Psychological Invisibility" to hide outside the range of Decay, barely managed to hold out against a Half-God for nearly nine minutes. Occasionally, they would feel that Higdon did not have the oppressive aura of a normal Half-God, making him a substandard product.
Even so, they still couldn't find a chance to escape and get rid of the enemy, and they discovered that the number of enemies was increasing, from two at the beginning of the battle to four now, and one of them had even split off to search for Ludwig.
Moreover, although the individual Higdon doesn't seem like a true Half-God and appears somewhat weak, each of the versions he splits into is at the same level, no weaker than the individual. When combined, they truly possess the terrifying power of Half-God. Of course, Franca guesses that there is a limit to the number of versions he can split into, and that there won't be too many.
"I still have two ' Mirror Substitute ' left, Jenna should only have one left... Although Anthony was attacked less often and was outside the range, he only had two ' Mirror Substitute ' to begin with, and he has already used one..." Franca quickly shifted her position to avoid the diseased Higdon suddenly appearing behind her and launching a "Certain Hit" attack, while rapidly analyzing the current situation.
As for Lugano, when he was cornered by Higdon and a fight broke out, Franca signaled to him to run as far away as possible and find a secluded corner to hide.
As it turned out, Franca's judgment was correct. Higdon's targets, besides Ludwig, were the two "Witch." He did not hinder Lugano's escape from the Park-like Ruins, nor did he spare any more Higdon to pursue him.
"Continuous use of the Black Flame is also very taxing on our spiritual energy. Neither Jenna nor I can hold out for much longer..." Franca considered whether she should gather with Jenna now and use the last "Mirror Traversal" Ice Talisman " to try to buy some more time and see if there would be a turning point.
Moreover, this could also give Anthony a chance to survive.
This "Hypnotist" was also not Higdon's target, and he also had a "Psychological Invisibility" persona.
Just as Franca was about to gesture for Jenna to come closer, she suddenly saw Yellowish Green droplets protrude from behind Jenna, quickly coalescing into the shape of Higdon.
Almost simultaneously, Franca also sensed from Jenna's worried and solemn expression that something was wrong behind her as well.
Without hesitation, the two "Witch" each activated their "Mirror Substitute" again.
The next second, the two Higdon unfurled into fluffy, slimy "blankets," enveloping Franca and Jenna with a Certain Hit.
A clicking sound followed.
On the other side, Anthony, who had been quietly lurking at the edge of the Park-like Ruins with his back against a half-wall, suddenly saw Higdon, covered in Yellowish Green slime, emerge from beside him.
He was discovered after all.
With a push of his hands, Higdon sent a ball of light, greenish-black in color, landing on Anthony.
Snap!
Anthony used his "Mirror Substitute" one last time, his silhouette appearing to the side and slightly behind Higdon.
Seeing this, Anthony suddenly had a thought.
Chance!
Instead of running away, he raised his "Winter Is Coming" Revolver, aimed at Higdon, and pulled the trigger.
"Certain Death!"
A bright yellow bullet, tinged with a dull bluish-green, traveled a short distance and struck Higdon.
The Higdon covered in Yellowish Green slime froze instantly, its body rapidly disintegrating into tiny specks of foamy liquid that scattered lifelessly onto the ground.
This Higdon is dead.
But the other three Higdon had nothing to do with it.
After Franca and Jenna confirmed it, they both felt genuinely Despair.
One of their previous plans was to use the two "Witch" as bait, giving Anthony the opportunity to hit one of the Higdon with a "Certain Death" bullet, thus killing all the Higdon.
Who knew that the "Certain Death" effect only affected the Higdon who was hit.
A moment later, Franca and Jenna saw the "Pride Armor" being hit by the "Certain Death" attack, metal fragments falling from its chest, and it stood frozen in place.
Jenna gritted her Teeth, determined to disregard the Ritual and stuff the "Witch of Pain" materials into her mouth on the spot, gambling on whether she could forcefully advance her advancement.
That way, at least she can regain her spirituality.
Even if she fails, she can transform into Monster, giving Franca a chance to escape!
Future Jenna could even reach into the "Traveler’s Bag," she saw another Daoist appear at the edge of the area.
That was Vazan Sanson, his Blond Hair hair now turning white; he had caught up with them and arrived here!
Jenna and Franca's hearts sank rapidly, and the former no longer hesitated for a moment.
Just then, above one of the Higdon, a straight, iron -Straight Sword Burning with Blazing White and blue Flames descended from the sky without warning and accurately pierced the top of the Higdon's head.
Boom!
The Higdon was blasted into pieces, and the Blazing White blue Flames that swept out instantly turned a quiet black, engulfing every single fragment.
The fragments never reappeared, and a figure swiftly appeared in the eyes of Franca, Jenna, and Anthony.
