The platform
Before Lumian could even use Meditation to fall asleep, everything suddenly went black, and his consciousness seemed to be pulled by an invisible force, plummeting straight into the Depths of the earth.
He instinctively resisted for a moment, then felt as if he were leaping out of the Gloom Seabed.
Twilight -like glow suddenly appeared before his eyes, shining through the Gloom into the gloom of the giant glass panes divided into countless small sections, bringing limited light.
In this light, Lumian saw a black Steam train with two Kerosene Lamp hanging from it, a domed, enclosed Dome, and at the edge of the platform, near the Steam train, stood a "Magician" Lady wearing a long, off- Ivory Long Dress with gold embroidery and a wide-brimmed sun hat.
Beside the "Magician" Lady stood a Lady in an elegant green dress, and Golden Dog was squatting beside her.
Upon seeing That One Lady in the green dress, Lumian felt a mixture of surprise and confusion:
Another "Witch"?
Does the "Tarot Club" have other "Witch"?
"So beautiful." Franca's soft, admiring voice rang in Lumian's ears, "But she doesn't seem like a ' Witch,' her aura doesn't match, unless she's already Sequence 3 ' Witch of Unaging '..."
Upon hearing this, Lumian also noticed a similar problem:
That One Lady in the green dress had long, lustrous hair like gold, part of which was tied up in a bun, while the rest flowed down smoothly. Her emerald Eyes were like the most beautiful gems, and so deep that they seemed to reflect the Depths consciousness of all who saw them. Her face was exceptionally exquisite, and her beauty could be compared to that of "Witch." Her temperament was elegant, yet also carried a touch of girlish purity and clarity.
Such an aura is extremely rare among "Witch" below Sequence 3; at least neither Lumian nor Franca have ever seen it.
Furthermore, Lumian discovered that seeing this Lady did not evoke the same desires he felt when facing "Witch." Instead, it brought him peace of mind, warmth, and a sense of security.
This familiar feeling stirred Lumian's spiritual intuition, causing him to recall certain memories.
Adding to what the "Magician" Lady had said earlier, he quickly made a judgment:
Good evening, Lady. Justice!
That One elegant Lady in the green dress, with her refined demeanor and youthful charm, must be one of the "Psychiatrist" of the Major Arcana's "Justice"!
"Good evening, Lady. Justice." The second to speak was Anthony.
After Franca and Jenna politely greeted the "Justice" Lady, her eyes suddenly widened.
She pointed at Lumian and said, "You, how did you turn back into a man?"
Uh... Lumian reflexively examined himself and found that he wasn't wearing the Black Cloak, the bulge in his chest had subsided, and his white shirt, black vest, and dark trousers fit him as well as ever.
Franca, however, was still wearing a lace- Flowers Lady’s shirt and Ivory riding breeches, with a small red jacket draped over her shoulders. Her chest was bulging, and her ponytail swayed gently; she looked every bit the "Witch."
At this moment, the "Justice" Lady said with a gentle voice, "This is entering Real Dream, which is quite different from entering a normal dream."
"Using Dream-Entry Charm makes the body ethereal, allowing you to directly enter the Dream. What you see in reality is what you see in the dream. Normal dreaming depends on real-time cognition. The image in the dream may be your current self, your Past self, or even Mutation self. In Real Dream, if you can remain conscious, what is presented will be the self-awareness image from your subconscious."
"In other words, the subconscious of the ' Seven of Wands ' still identifies as Men."
I see... Lumian was both pleased and disappointed.
Franca blurted out, "And what about me? Why am I still...?"
She suddenly shut her mouth, as if struck by Lightning, losing a part of her soul.
"The Justice" Lady gently Soothing you, "Accepting the present doesn't mean forgetting the Past. As long as you remember who you were in the Past Past what kind of life you had, reconciling with your current body won't lead you out of Loss of Control. The Witch Sect's ' Acting Principle ' may not be suitable for everyone; it depends on your own Personality and experiences."
Remember, everyone is unique.
Franca opened her mouth, but couldn't say anything; she was still feeling somewhat frustrated and downcast.
Jenna quietly reached out her right hand and grasped her palm.
If it were Lumian, who had only recently arrived in Trier, he wouldn't have mocked Franca for claiming to be a man but actually acting like a woman. He was even more so now, taking the opportunity to survey the situation on the platform.
This is not much different from a typical Steam Train Station, with an overpass above and stairs leading to different platforms.
At this moment, at the edge of the overpass, a tall figure leaned against the railing, gazing in this direction. His Black Trench Coat was slightly billowing, and he appeared to be wearing red Gloves.
On the stairs leading to this platform, Lady carrying four heads and dressed in a somber, elaborate Long Dress openly surveys the scene below. In contrast, halfway up the stairs to another platform stands a little boy with Mercury-Colored tie. At the top of those stairs, Mr. Azik Aegis, who had just met Lumian, holds a top hat and silently watches the black Steam train.
On the waiting chairs of Mr. Azik Aegis' platform, "Knight of Swords" Maric and the Temperance Faction Half-God Sharon sat facing Lumian and the others, motionless, like Puppet brought in to act as Spectator.
Lumian turned his gaze back and noticed that the Golden Dog next to the "Justice" Lady was wearing glasses and carrying a small brown bag, looking very gentle and scholarly.
Lumian suddenly recalled the large dog and the figure of Women he had seen during his first psychotherapy session at Mason Café.
So that was Lady "Justice"... It's a pity that Lady. Susie didn't participate in this mission to Mr. "The Fool's " Dream, otherwise I could have thanked her in person... Lumian regretfully turned her gaze back to Lady "Justice" and Lady "Magician".
The "Justice" Lady smiled and said to him, "Because you have in fact become the ' Witch of Despair,' and your subconscious knows this, you can freely switch between your subconscious self-image and your current true self. This may help you make a perfect disguise in your Dream and play an important role in key scenes."
"Why can't I do it..." Franca wailed silently.
Lumian nodded, seemingly understanding.
"Can't ' Lie ' be used to disguise oneself well? Because it can only perform at the Sequence 7 level, while the Sequence 6 ' Faceless 'Seer through the ' Sequence 6 ' Pathway of ' Lie ' allows for adjustments to appearance and physique?"
"Yes, Sequence 7 level ' Lie ' can only modify appearance to a certain extent, the effect being equivalent to the best Makeup techniques." "Justice" Lady slightly, turning her head to the Golden Dog beside her, "Susie, is there anything you want to say to them?"
Susie ... Lumian's eyebrows twitched, and she suddenly turned her gaze to the Golden Dog wearing glasses and carrying a small bag.
The big dog made a familiar sound:
"What I need to tell you is that Mr. ' The Fool ' is very vigilant and cautious, and not so easily trusting of others."
Upon hearing the Golden Dog speak, apart from Anthony and Ludwig, Lumian and the others were all stunned and surprised—if the Golden Dog hadn't been called "Susie and the Library," Lumian certainly wouldn't have been so shocked that an animal could speak human language.
After a brief silence, Lumian composed herself and said sincerely, "Thank you for your reminder, and thank you for your previous treatment, Lady. Susie. And thank you, Lady. ' Justice '."
We've seen kids who eat Demon's eyeballs, so what's so strange about a dog that can talk?
If they really are Trier people, they might all be real people who just like being dogs, so they found a way to turn themselves into dogs!
Lumian then said to the "Magician" Lady and the "Justice" Lady, "I have another question. What is Mr. ' The Fool's ' identity in the dream?"
To awaken Mr. The Fool, one must contact him from his dreams!
The "Justice" Lady and the "Magician" Lady exchanged a glance, then took out a Brownish Yellow Cowhide bag, Entanglement with thin cotton string:
"This contains information about Mr. ' The Fool's ' identity in the dream, but you need to actually enter that Dream to unlock it."
"There's also Cash, identification documents, and a map inside for you."
Lumian took the Cowhide bag and pointed to the Iron-Black Steam train parked next to the platform:
"Shall we sit here?"
"Yes, after you board the train, I will guide it to the edge of this Dream world. You must hold onto your Lucky Gold Coin tightly. When the train reaches the edge of the Dream world, they will help you enter Mr. ' The Fool's' Dream. The first time must be this complicated. After that, you can enter and exit the Dream normally with the Lucky Gold Coin," Miss Justice explained simply.
Lumian glanced at Jenna, Franca, Anthony, and Ludwig, then nodded to the two Major Arcana:
"We can get on the bus now."
The black Steam train was no different from the usual type in Trier. Lumian and his group of five occupied two rows of seats on the same side, while the other passengers around them were just blurry figures, as if the person who wove this Dream was too lazy to make any details.
Through the window, they saw the "Magician" Lady and the "Justice" Lady waving to them.
As they instinctively waved in response, a loud voice rang in Lumian and the others' ears:
"Waaah!"
As the train horn sounded, a clanging sound began, gradually increasing in speed and frequency, as the scenery outside the window receded into the distance.
The Iron-Black Steam train carrying Lumian, Franca, Jenna, Anthony, and Ludwig pulled out of the station and headed into the distance, shrouded in a dreamlike mist.
