Lumian investigated strange events in Cordu while exploring deadly ruins in his recurring dream and seeking supernatural powers. As he and Aurora prepared to leave the village, he obtained a Hunter Beyonder Characteristic and asked the mysterious lady about Cordu’s abnormalities.
Lumian became a Hunter and discovered Cordou Village was caught in a time loop, while his and Aurora’s attempts to escape revealed the village’s horrors and the Night Lady. After returning to the loop’s beginning, Lumian and Aurora investigated the villagers and began studying mysticism, ending with a strange creature emerging from Michel Garigu’s mouth.
Lumian and Aurora investigated Cordu’s corruption, the Castle, and the fate of Raymond while seeking allies to uncover the Parish Priest’s sacrifice. Lumian gained the Dancer’s boon, and Madame Pualis agreed to offer limited help as the investigators prepared to explore beneath the Church.
Lumian and his allies investigated the Church’s ritual and the Dream Ruins, where Lumian defeated a Pyromaniac and obtained the ingredients for advancing. As the Lent Festival began, a mysterious creature emerged from Aurora, and Lumian suspected the villagers had been parasitized.
Lumian escaped the repeating Cordu nightmare, learned Aurora and the villagers’ soul fragments were sealed within him, and began a new life in Trier while pursuing the village’s surviving conspirators. After investigating the Montsouris Ghosts, he survived their attack by using Fallen Mercury to change his fate and received Madam Magician’s advice to approach Mr. K.
Lumian pursued Margot, investigated Suzanne Mathis’s attacks on Charlie, and secured Mr. K’s protection by becoming a Savoie Gang boss. After drawing on his sealed power to gain the Mendicant Friar gift, Lumian heard Termiboros offer to resurrect Aurora if he released the seal.
Lumian investigated supernatural figures in the Market District, rescued Jenna, and used a Prophecy Potion to guide his next moves. After killing Hammer Ait and gaining Gardner Martin’s favor, he took charge of the Breeze Ballroom and discovered Franca’s connection to Muggle’s organization.
Lumian took control of the Breeze Ballroom, chose a Mystical Item, and joined Franca in investigating a vanished smuggling caravan trapped in a strange mirror world. As he pursued a suspected fake Mr. Eve and clashed with rival gang leaders, Susie warned him about the influence of Spectators.
Lumian uncovered the Bliss Society’s plan to restore Suzanne Mathis, protected Charlie, and learned painful truths about Aurora from Madame Pualis. As the election neared, he and Franca attacked Black Scorpion Roger, but Roger escaped into the Land of the Undying after reviving his fallen allies.
Lumian advanced to Pyromaniac and struck back at Hugues Artois’s circle after a factory explosion killed and injured workers. Elodie died after her treatment became unaffordable, and the arc ended with Jenna reporting that Julian had gone mad.
Lumian survived the Bliss Society’s Shadow Tree ritual with Franca’s help, while Jenna killed Hugues Artois and the Tarot Club’s place in Lumian’s life became clearer. Later, Lumian buried Mad Flamang and completed a dangerous underground mission for Gardner Martin, leaving Franca to suspect Gardner was testing him for the inner circle.
Lumian joined the Iron and Blood Cross Order while enduring its corrupting tests, and chose a Lucky One characteristic after killing a Werewolf. He and his allies investigated Deep Valley Monastery as Mr. Poet interpreted Lumian’s dream, linking its symbols to Aurora, Termiboros, and a faction that had sabotaged the descent ritual.
Lumian advanced to Contracted One, gathered allies and secured the Mummy Ashes Franca needed to become a Pleasure Witch. When the hunt for Guillaume Béné began, Lumian and Albus found two apparent Guillaumes, leaving Lumian to test which one was the substitute.
Lumian and his allies killed Guillaume Béné and uncovered his links to Roche Louise Samson and the Sinners, while investigating the secrets surrounding Aurora and Hugues Artois. The King Cake ritual left Lumian with disturbing nightmares, and his search for the Samaritan Woman Spring brought him and Hella into the Catacombs, where they encountered a mysterious woman and Monet.
Lumian survived Amon’s trap at the Samaritan Woman Spring and acquired a mark linked to Alista Tudor. His investigations led through Red Swan Castle and the Sauron Family’s secrets before he attended the Curly-Haired Baboon Research Society gathering disguised as Aurora.
Lumian and Franca investigated Loki and uncovered the April Fool’s Day group's role in Aurora’s suffering. Hella stopped Loki’s ambush, but his ability to resurrect left Lumian pursuing his accomplices with the Tarot Club’s support.
Lumian hunted down I Have a Friend, uncovered links between the Sinners and the Celestial Worthy, and investigated the growing dangers beneath Trier. As he approached the end of his Pyromaniac advancement, Puyver Sauron led him into an underground labyrinth where a red-haired man offered to turn the group into wax figures.
Lumian survived the dangers beneath Red Swan Castle, advanced to Conspirer, and helped Jenna become a Witch while investigating the Sinners. After Bouval’s capture pointed toward missing believers and a mysterious Hostel, Lumian began probing General Philip’s widow for answers.
Lumian and Jenna were trapped in the Hostel’s Painted World as the Iron and Blood Cross Order’s ritual destabilized the seal beneath the Breeze Ballroom. They escaped into a strange city beyond the gate, where they discovered that Gardner Martin and the supposedly dead General Philip had worked together on the ritual.
Lumian, Franca, Jenna, and Anthony Reid killed General Philip and fought mirror counterparts while trapped in Fourth Epoch Trier. Medici seized Vermonda Soren’s characteristic and became an Angel King again, while the survivors divided their spoils, accepted new assignments, and prepared for Lumian’s departure.
