After investigating the Montsouris Ghosts, he survived their attack by using Fallen Mercury to change his fate and received Madam Magician’s advice to approach Mr. K.

• Lumian became a Provocateur, but Guillaume Béné’s ritual consumed Cordu Village and combined its people with Aurora before Lumian woke in the ruins.
• The mysterious lady told Lumian that Aurora and the villagers’ soul fragments were sealed in his chest, and Lumian left Cordu with Aurora’s notes to seek a new path in Trier.
• Lumian arrived in Trier, settled at the Golden Rooster Inn, and followed Aosta Trull to learn about a gathering of Beyonders and the Montsouris Ghosts.
• Lumian confronted Baron Brignais about the Savoie Gang’s pursuit of him, and the baron agreed to watch him rather than immediately claim the bounty.
• Lumian investigated reports of the Montsouris Ghosts and heard from a madman that the black shadow had preceded the deaths of his family.

Lumian pursued Margot, investigated Suzanne Mathis’s attacks on Charlie, and secured Mr. K’s protection by becoming a Savoie Gang boss. After drawing on his sealed power to gain the Mendicant Friar gift, Lumian heard Termiboros offer to resurrect Aurora if he released the seal.

• Lumian consulted Susie, recalled the battle in the Administrator's Castle, and broke down after reading an obituary about Aurora Lee’s death.
• Lumian marked Margot with perfume, tracked him to his apartment, and killed him in a fight before confirming that Fallen Mercury had exchanged their fates.
• Lumian learned that Charlie had been arrested for Mrs. Alice’s murder, investigated her death, and discovered Suzanne Mathis was connected to Charlie’s dreams.
• Suzanne attacked Charlie at the Golden Rooster Inn, but Angoulême de François and his team intervened as Lumian sought advice on the spirit’s origins and weaknesses.
• Lumian asked Mr. K for protection and accepted the task of becoming a Market District gang boss, then joined the Savoie Gang by striking a deal with Baron Brignais.

• Lumian provoked Termiboros, advanced his Provocateur potion digestion, and began gathering materials and information for a Prophecy Potion.
• Lumian discovered Mr. Eve had supernatural abilities and learned that the Stinger Gang’s wounded members recovered unusually quickly.
• Lumian killed a water monster, then rescued Jenna from Hedsey, whose supernatural powers stirred greed, appetite, and lust.
• Lumian used a corpse to make a Prophecy Potion, which pointed him toward Guillaume Béné, Louis Lund, and Monsieur Eve.
• Baron Brignais ordered Lumian to attack a Stinger Gang leader, and Jenna helped him infiltrate Hammer Ait’s room at the Mill Ballroom.

• Lumian carried out Fortune Transfer on an unlucky vagrant, then dropped the cursed coin where the suspected fake Mr. Eve could pick it up.
