Gu Yuena awakens after a twenty-year slumber as the true ruler of the Star Dou Great Forest. Her released pressure flattens the surrounding grass and summons Di Tian, Bi Ji, Zi Ji, and Xiong Jun from the depths of the forest. She initially sends Xiong Jun to retrieve the Ice Fire Dragon King's Spirit Bone from the Sunset Forest. 61

When Di Tian fails to return, Gu Yuena summons the Myriad Demon King, Crimson King, Zi Ji, and Bi Ji, ordering them to locate him. She promises to intervene herself if they encounter an obstacle beyond their ability. 95

Alliance with Xue Tianyu

Gu Yuena takes interest in Xue Tianyu after sensing the overwhelming aura of his Ancient Ice God inheritance—an aura that could threaten even her weakened state. She views his potential ascension as the means to overthrow the God Realm and avenge the Spirit Beasts. 99 101

She offers Xue Tianyu the backing of all Spirit Beasts and openly proposes that they develop feelings for one another.
