Human Emperor World-Suppressing Codex received 96 Gu Changqing transmits a Primordial-tier inheritance intended to advance him from the Lord of Great Shang toward the Lord of Humanity’s Dao.
Early Quasi-Saint 241 Yang Jian infuses him with chaotic power, raising him from below the immortal realms through the immortal ranks and beyond Daluo Golden Immortal. His mortal body becomes a Quasi-Saint Dao Body.
Near-Sage power — temporary augmentation 300 Channels all Humanity’s Fortune into the Xuanyuan Sword, temporarily pushing his power close to a Sage’s realm. His strike only cracks a foreign Law Chain, and the backlash injures him.
Peak Quasi-Immortal Emperor 395 Following Gu Changqing’s bestowal, his injuries heal and his cultivation rises through the early, middle, and late Quasi-Immortal Emperor stages to the peak. He remains one step short of Immortal Emperor.

Appearance

  • Imperial clothing: Wears royal robes after taking Great Shang’s throne; during the Primordial World catastrophe, he appears in a black Dragon Robe and Flat Sky Crown 55 205.
  • Brow marking: Bears a Purple-Gold Imperial Seal between his brows, which lights up when he exercises Humanity’s Dao authority 39 52.
  • Battle attire and mounts: Appears in the King’s Armor during the banishment of Xiqi’s survivors. Other campaigns show him riding a Qilin, commanding from a Nine-Dragon War Chariot, or standing atop the Chaos Ancestral Dragon 128 164 170 396.

Personality

Yin Jiao is protective of his family even before receiving supernatural power. While fleeing Chaoge, he shields Yin Hong with a broken blade and challenges the unknown creature inside their refuge. After returning to court, he promises Queen Jiang that he will not allow anyone to hurt her again 36 52.

His determination develops from seeking justice for his mother into accepting responsibility for humanity. He establishes military training despite warnings that it could offend the Immortal Sects, bears the Nine Provinces Barrier’s crushing pressure, and continues rallying defenders even when using the Eastern Emperor Bell makes him bleed 59 205 259.

He distinguishes between enemies and innocents, repeatedly restricting Yin Hong and Daji from harming ordinary people. This restraint coexists with ruthless imperial expansion: he demands surrender from conquered armies and carries out Gu Changqing’s policy of supporting those who submit while eliminating those who refuse 55 95 368 410 539.

Despite his imperial authority, he remains conscious of his limitations. He initially refuses the Heavenly Emperor’s seat because he fears its karmic burden, and his pride diminishes after witnessing the strength of Gu Changqing’s other disciples 241 371.

Abilities & Skills

Human Emperor Heaven-Sealing Art

A cultivation method based on mortal wishfire, the Human King’s Dharma Body, and Humanity’s Dao Dragon Qi rather than immortal-sect orthodoxy 38.

  • Imperial manifestation: Produces a Human King Phantom capable of resisting Guangchengzi’s Great Luo pressure. Its later imperial shadow subdues the military soul of thirty thousand Imperial Guards 39 53.
  • Wishfire judgment: Exposes Fei Zhong and You Hun’s crimes as black threads of sin before executing them with purple-gold vowfire 52.
  • Suppression of demonic control: Crushes the Demon Orders influencing the Imperial Guards and shatters their Red-Incense Demon Talismans 53.
  • Army-wide empowerment: Draws the Nine Provinces’ wishes into his sword to heal and strengthen Great Shang’s million soldiers 163.
  • Battlefield sealing: Creates a golden canopy that cuts off Chan Sect divine power and outside intervention, allowing the human army to break immortal formations 163.
  • Ultimate potential: The inheritance is described as capable of commanding mountains and rivers, suppressing immortals and gods, severing imperial decrees, and altering mortal fate when cultivated to its utmost 38.

Human Emperor World-Suppressing Codex

A Primordial-tier technique centered on Humanity’s Dao, Fortune, and Land-Altars. Gu Changqing distinguishes it as a World-Opening Art, whereas the Heaven-Sealing Art is an Emperor’s Art 96.

  • Intended to let Yin Jiao shoulder Humanity’s Dao beyond the fortunes of a single dynasty 96.
  • Transmitted through the Incense River as a purple-gold Dao seal; its arrival causes Chaoge’s ancestral tablets and Fortune Golden Dragon to respond 96.

Humanity’s Fortune and Chaos Ancestral Dragon

Yin Jiao gathers collective human faith and national fortune to reinforce his authority, weapons, and defenses 56 205 300.

  • Dynastic consolidation: Draws scattered Yin Shang fortune back into Chaoge, interrupting its dispersal among the feudal lords 56.
  • Territorial enforcement: Humanity’s Fortune Golden Dragon expels the defeated Xiqi loyalists and guards the Nine Provinces Barrier 170.
  • World-defense role: As reigning Human Emperor, he serves as the barrier’s core and bears more than ninety percent of its pressure during the Primordial World catastrophe 205.
  • Chaos transformation: Recalls the Fortune Dragon and transforms it into the vastly enlarged Chaos Ancestral Dragon. He rides it into war and uses a gray breath of Chaos to badly wound Ji Xuanlei’s Dao Body 396.
  • Limit: Even a near-Sage strike supported by Humanity’s Fortune cannot destroy the foreign Law Chains linked to more than a thousand worlds 300 301.

Humanity’s Dao War Canon

A military cultivation method that tempers soldiers through their oaths, fighting spirit, and Humanity’s Dao wishfire. Yin Jiao first teaches it to three thousand mortal soldiers in Chaoge’s Martial Arts Hall 59.

Formation size Stated capability
Ten soldiers Suppress demons and evil 59
One hundred soldiers Withstand Qi Refiners 59
One thousand soldiers Shake a True Immortal 59
Ten thousand united soldiers, supported by Chaoge’s national fortune Potentially withstand a Golden Immortal’s strike 59
  • The initial trainees forge their collective military soul into a Dark Phoenix phantom 59.
  • Yin Jiao presents the canon as a means of national defense, not a method for seeking longevity or ascension 59.

Military Command and Grand Formations

Gu Changqing explicitly judges Yin Jiao’s troop-commanding ability superior to Yang Jian’s and appoints him commander of the expedition into the Primordial Beginning Origin Land 420.

  • Human Emperor Defensive Grand Formation: Deploys thirty million Heavenly Soldiers to defend the Tianyuan Star Domain. He rotates their efforts against three hundred million insects, but the combined attack of Jin Wuji, Yin Canghai, and Tong Shanhe shatters the formation and injures him 456.
  • Human Emperor Battle Formation: Leads thirty million Great Shang Heavenly Soldiers in destroying more than ten thousand attacking System Hosts. He then uses the Human Emperor Dharma Form to pursue their surviving leader 467.
  • Coalition leadership: Commands Yang Jian, Nezha, Tongtian, Kong Xuan, and elite forces from over a thousand worlds during the war against the Ji Emperor Clan 396.
  • Operational caution: Checks Yang Jian’s protective equipment and remaining Pangu Axe fragment uses before permitting him to enter the Core Region alone 421.

Concealment and Cultivation Administration

  • Concealment Method: Receives a method through Yang Jian that makes his true Fate Pattern difficult for anyone below Great Luo to perceive, provided he does not expose himself 41.
  • Vow power avatars: Receives Gu Changqing’s method for Temple cultivators at Immortal King level and above. It allows them to draw on incense-offerings vow power in battle for an increase in strength of at least thirty percent 410.
  • Nine-Turn Primordial Chaos Art: Receives the scripture after founding the Human Emperor Immortal Dynasty and orders all submitted cultivators to adopt it. The text describes cultivation as ten times faster, with almost no bottlenecks; no personal breakthrough for Yin Jiao is documented here 540.

  • Guangchengzi — Would-be master under the original Heavenly arrangement. Yin Jiao rejects his attempt to take him to Kunlun and later banishes him beyond the Nine Provinces Barrier 39 42 170.

History

Flight from Chaoge and Entry into the Ruined Temple

After Queen Jiang’s calamity, Yin Jiao and Yin Hong are hunted through Chaoge by royal forces, Shen Gongbao’s sorcerers, and monsters serving the Demon Consort. Queen Jiang’s half Jade Talisman guides them toward a ruined temple in the Mass Burial Grounds, where Xiaotian Dog destroys their pursuers 35 36.

Yang Jian arrives under Gu Changqing’s orders and offers them a path to survive and seek justice. Recognizing the power behind the Divine Statue, Yin Jiao kneels and pleads for aid. Gu Changqing grants him the Human Emperor Heaven-Sealing Art, diverting him from the fate in which he would have become Guangchengzi’s disciple and a Chan Sect instrument for exploiting Yin Shang’s fortune 37 38 42.

Return to Court and Accession

Under Yang Jian’s guidance, the brothers return to Chaoge with complementary roles: Yin Jiao is to rally public loyalty through Bi Gan, while Yin Hong hunts demons in the shadows. In the Human Emperor Hall, Yin Jiao forces hostile guards to kneel and executes Fei Zhong and You Hun after exposing their crimes 41 52.

When Di Xin mobilizes thirty thousand Imperial Guards, Yin Jiao breaks their demonic control. He exposes Daji’s role in Chaoge’s calamity, removes Di Xin’s authority, and confines his father in the Star-Picking Tower. Acknowledged by the ancestral temple and Chaoge’s people, he becomes Great Shang’s new Human Emperor and orders relief for the population 53 55.

War with Xiqi and Humanity’s Independence

When Ji Fa raises three hundred thousand troops against Shang, Yin Jiao reinforces the passes, establishes Recruitment Halls, and opens Chaoge’s Martial Arts Hall. He also petitions Gu Changqing for fellow disciples to defend Great Shang’s gateway. Later, he accepts Daji’s allegiance and oversees a purge of sect infiltrators, demons, hidden altars, and Fortune-Disrupting Nails 59 61 95.

During his personal campaign, Yin Jiao uses the Nine Provinces’ collective wishes to strengthen his army and exclude immortal interference. Xiqi’s capital falls within ten days of the campaign’s beginning. He then restores the conquered territory’s fortune and lawful authority to Humanity, banishes the surviving loyalists and Chan Sect immortals, and forbids gods and immortals from entering the Nine Provinces 163 170.

His declaration rejects humanity’s subordination to Heaven, immortals, and Buddhas, while retaining reverence for Humanity and the Deity of the Ruined Temple 170.

Catastrophe and the Human Heavenly Court

During the Primordial World’s collapse, Yin Jiao sustains the Nine Provinces Barrier while issuing orders to stabilize the earth veins, faith, and military souls supporting it. When Hongjun demands the surrender of the Ruined Temple’s inhabitants in exchange for survival, Yin Jiao recognizes the demand as a scheme that leaves humanity defeated whichever choice it makes 205 208.

After the old order is overturned, Yang Jian, Nezha, and Kong Xuan announce a Heavenly Court founded on Humanity’s Dao, with humans establishing its laws. Kong Xuan nominates Yin Jiao as its first human Heavenly Emperor. Yang Jian overcomes his objections, elevates him to early Quasi-Saint, and charges him with establishing order rather than merely exercising privilege 241.

Defense of the Primordial World and Expansion Abroad

As Heavenly Emperor, Yin Jiao uses the Eastern Emperor Bell to rally the world’s Golden Immortals and stronger cultivators against an existential threat. Later, his Fortune-empowered Xuanyuan Sword fails to sever the foreign Law Chains imprisoning the Primordial World, forcing him to defend the South Heaven Gate instead 259 300 301.

Gu Changqing subsequently commissions him to spread Humanity’s rules throughout the Myriad Worlds. Yin Jiao appoints Huang Feihu as Dao Expeditionary Army commander and Shen Gongbao as Myriad Worlds Inspector, then enters the technological world G-371b with Tongtian 314.

In The Firmament, he and Yang Jian take over the Heavenly Tide Immortal Dynasty’s Three Hundred Domains. Yin Jiao secures the surrender of its million Imperial Guards, preserves the army as an administrative foundation, and occupies the Immortal King Throne to establish Primordial World rule 368.

Temple Commander and Divine Court Legislator

After reaching peak Quasi-Immortal Emperor, Yin Jiao leads the Temple and Thousand-World Allied Army against the Ji Emperor Clan. He later oversees preparations against the Desolate-Extermination Alliance and commands the expedition into the Primordial Beginning Origin Land 395 396 410 420 421.

Gu Changqing appoints him among the Primordial World Divine Court’s star-domain leaders. Yin Jiao then orders Wen Zhong to draft the thirty-six-article Human Emperor Canon, protecting mortals’ rights across the myriad heavens 437.

He continues serving as both commander and administrator: defending Tianyuan against the Mechanical Insect Race, destroying the Main God Alliance’s first attacking wave, and reporting the Origin Temple’s impersonation and diversion of believers’ vow power 456 467 479.

Founding the Human Emperor Immortal Dynasty

Gu Changqing gives Yin Jiao an Imperial City, a Human Emperor Seal, and a million Imperial Guards to bring the Origin Realm Core under a new dynasty. Over three days, Yin Jiao’s forces incorporate or destroy every sect and power there. He formally establishes the Human Emperor Immortal Dynasty before more than ten billion kneeling cultivators and declares its rule over the Myriad Worlds 539.

His first governing priorities include consolidating sect resources into a unified distribution system and creating laws to regulate cultivators. Upon receiving the Nine-Turn Primordial Chaos Art, he orders every cultivator who has submitted to the dynasty to adopt the new system 540.
