• The Emperor Species struck the World Will’s corpse, then left when it heard that the Fate Seal Core had been found.
• The Emperor Species descended into Shen Ye’s body and saw the Fate Seal Core outlined across it.
• Shen Ye revealed that the Emperor Species had fallen into an ice crystal and faced it in a battlefield filled with Ice Prism Mirrors.

• Xu Xingke denied that the insect possessed Shen Ye, then told the Sword Maiden privately that Shen Ye had sealed it inside himself.
