There were three robots in total, and all of them could be repaired.
Cao Xing spent a large amount of materials and clicked Repair.
A system notification appeared.
[Repairing...]
"Chug! Chug!"
The three battered robots quickly repaired their damaged parts, including the electronic components inside them.
[Repair successful. You received 1 Shovel Robot Lv. 15, 1 Tracked Robot Lv. 15, 1 Burrowing Robot Lv. 15, and your territory population increased by 3.]
The three robots spoke in synthesized mechanical voices and looked at Cao Xing.
"Master... please give us your orders..."
Cao Xing nodded in satisfaction.
These robots were as powerful as elite monsters of the same tier. Combined with Cao Xing's talent, they were even more of a game changer.
They would also add a lot to his combat strength.
Then he ordered, "Keep moving."
The four robots and four Tier 2 Creatures marched forward in a grand procession.
Cao Xing and Liu Muxue continued following behind them.
Since Cao Xing had killed all the Molemen in this Mine, he had almost nothing to worry about.
He collected everything they came across along the way.
[Obtained 1 Minecart, 67 Iron Ore, 12 Cursed Metal, 5 Mithril Ore, 23 Mana Stones, 112 Stone...] [Obtained 42 Rails, 1 Mana Crystal.] [Obtained...]
They collected things all the way along, and it was a bountiful haul.
Cao Xing looked at the materials in his backpack, excitement showing in his eyes.
[Minecart*27] [Rail*1334] [Iron Ore*1023] [Cursed Metal*357] [Mithril Ore*135] [Mana Stone*274]
These were what he had gained from entering the Mine this time. It was truly a bountiful haul!
Cao Xing said happily, "More than a thousand meters of Rails. That's more than enough to lay a track to the Mine near the Camp."
However, something struck Cao Xing as a little strange.
Since this was a Mine, the Molemen had clearly been working here for some time.
So where had the Molemen taken the ore they had mined?
Cao Xing called out to Andrew and the others in front, "Keep an eye out for any branching passages in this Mine. Find the Molemen's ore storage."
Hearing this, Asam, Andrew, and the others began looking around.
The group searched as they continued deeper into the Mine.
Before long, a patch of light appeared ahead.
Only when they reached the light did they realize that this was another Mine entrance.
This meant they had made it all the way through the deep Mine.
Asam, who was at the front, said, "My lord, I found a lot of wheel tracks at the Mine entrance."
"The Molemen might have hauled the ore they mined away through this passage."
Cao Xing paused and looked at the tracks that stretched into the snowy wilderness.
It was obvious that the Molemen's convoy had left some time ago. They had arrived too late.
Cao Xing shook his head. "Forget it. Let's head back first."
They had already gained plenty this time-not only a large quantity of ore, but also a lot of experience.
The group had also gained four powerful new robots.
More importantly, the four robots were highly mobile in the snow.
The huge Tracked Robot especially stood out.
At three meters tall, with two massive tracks, it could handle a wide variety of terrain.
Cao Xing thought, "A robot like this should be able to carry two people across the snow without any trouble, right?"
With that thought, Cao Xing climbed onto the Tracked Robot's back and found a flat spot to sit.
Then he patted its shoulder and said, "Move out!"
The Tracked Robot received the command, and its two tracks began spinning rapidly.
"Creak! Creak!"
Two tracks, each nearly fifty centimeters wide, were left in the snow ahead.
The Tracked Robot raced forward. Feeling the wind whistle past his ears, Cao Xing was delighted.
"So fast! This Tracked Robot's mobility is beyond anything I imagined!"
Then Cao Xing continued, "Tracked Robot, full speed ahead!"
The Tracked Robot replied in a mechanical voice, "Acknowledged... Master..."
Its Energy Core began spinning rapidly, switching into high-energy mode.
The Tracked Robot's speed increased even more, reaching thirty kilometers per hour!
And this was on snow.
Thirty kilometers per hour was already astonishing.
"Woohoo! So fast!"
Cao Xing excitedly watched the scenery rush past.
Andrew and the others, who were at the Mine entrance, looked at Cao Xing riding the Tracked Robot across the snowy wilderness, then exchanged glances.
After circling around a few times, Cao Xing steered the Tracked Robot back.
Then he looked at Liu Muxue, who was standing to one side, and said,
"Muxue, get on."
Cao Xing controlled the Tracked Robot to extend its arm and offer her a hand.
Curiosity in her eyes, Liu Muxue stepped onto its mechanical palm. It lifted her steadily, and her view began to rise.
Before long, she was seated beside Cao Xing.
Cao Xing asked, "Are you settled?"
Liu Muxue nodded lightly. "Mm."
Cao Xing said, "Good. Then let's go. Back home!"
Andrew, Asam, and the others received the order and set off across the vast snowy wilderness.
The four robots followed close behind.
Thud! Thud-thud!
The eight figures moved quickly.
With the robots, their mobility had increased tremendously.
The Camp was seven kilometers away. Before, it would have taken them more than an hour to get there.
But at this speed, they could return to the Camp in just over ten minutes.
It was a huge improvement.
Whoosh-whoosh-
The cold wind swept past their ears.
The Tracked Robot moved quickly and smoothly.
But beneath the snow, there might be obstacles such as loose stones or branches.
The tracks crushed them, but they still caused a few bumps.
Liu Muxue grew a little nervous and involuntarily grabbed Cao Xing's wrist.
Then, as though she had found someone to rely on, she immediately felt at ease.
Up ahead, Andrew rode the Frost Wolf, Asam moved on all fours, and the four robots followed.
The group marched across the vast snowy wilderness in a grand procession.
As for Sarah, Cao Xing had sent her to explore the surrounding area.
A few minutes later, they had covered nearly three kilometers.
Just then, Sarah's figure flashed into view in front of Cao Xing.
"Stop."
Cao Xing quickly brought the group to a halt and asked,
"Sarah, what's wrong?"
Sarah replied calmly, "There's been a battle up ahead."
"A battle?"
Cao Xing asked in confusion, "Who?"
Sarah replied, "A group of Hunters. They're attacking an Icefield Mammoth."
Hunters and Mammoths?
At that moment, the Druid beside them also said with some confusion, "Icefield Mammoths are migratory creatures of the Snowfield. They live in herds."
"With the Hunters' strength, they shouldn't be able to deal with such powerful creatures."
As if she knew what Andrew was wondering,
Sarah shook her head. "It's a lone Young Mammoth, but it fell into the Hunters' trap!"
