Vanquishing Demons at Lion Camel Ridge (Thirty-Six)

Meanwhile, Ao Tu ordered his men to capture the Medicine Buddha and question him about his origins.

The Medicine Buddha, "I have come to heal Your Great King; why must Your Great King inquire about my origins?"

Ao Tu said, "I am Primordial Heaven saint, born with Heaven and Earth and earth, and growing as long as the sun and moon. What illness could I possibly have?"

The Medicine Buddha, "Although Your Great King is free from illness, a calamity is about to befall you."

Ao Tu said, "You Demon Monk, how dare you spout such heretical words! Tell me what calamity awaits me, and if you make the slightest mistake, I will kill you."

The Medicine Buddha, "Your Great King, you have killed four Buddhas, seized the Treasure Banner, imprisoned Three Bodhisattvas— Guanyin, Manjushri, and Samantabhadra —and obstructed the Journey to the West the West. The Heavenly Decree has six phases, and Your Great King has committed five sins. Are you not unaware that a calamity is befalling you?"

Ao Tu laughed and said, "Since that's the case, what method do you have to deal with it?"

Seeing Ao Tu's smiling face, the Medicine Buddha sighed and said, "Your Great King is facing imminent calamity, yet you still treat it as a joke. You must not believe my good advice."

Ao Tu asked, "What are your wise words?"

The Medicine Buddha, "Naturally, Your Great King must return the bodies of the four Buddhas, hand back the Treasure Banner, release the Three Bodhisattvas, and cease obstructing the Journey to the West. Only then can you be saved."

Ao Tu laughed and said, "Monk, you have good advice for me, and I also have good advice for you."

The Medicine Buddha asked, "What are these wise words?"

Ao Tu said, "I have no grudge against you. Go back to your Eastern Pure Lapis Lazuli World and chant sutras. Don't ever come to my Western Heaven Saha World again. In the future, when I occupy Spirit Mountain, I will invite you to come and perform the rites. Wouldn't that be a good thing? If you utter the slightest dissent, I will beat you to death and send you to the calamity in place of the Tathagata Monk!"

Upon hearing this, the Medicine Buddha knew that Ao Tu had seen through his origins, and no longer concealed himself, he transformed into his Original Form, holding the Medicine Buddha Gourd, and said:

"Benefactor, I regret that I cannot comply!"

Ao Tu said, "How pitiful! I had no grudge against you, but you are so stubborn and unrepentant that I have no choice but to kill you now."

After saying that, the two stopped talking and started fighting.

Ao Tu raised his hand and released Five-Colored Divine Light, which instantly enveloped the Medicine Buddha.

The Medicine Buddha manifested his golden Golden Body amidst Five-Colored Divine Light, pure and undisturbed both inside and out. He also revealed a Eastern Pure Lapis Lazuli World, which is the fundamental the Path of the Medicine Buddha of Lapis Lazuli Light, carrying it on his back.

In that world, there are no three evil realms, no sickness, and no poverty. The earth, palaces, and utensils are all made of crystal Seven Treasures, and the light is constant, with no difference between day and night. The beings in the country are healthy in body and mind, practice in peace and happiness, and are not subject to the suffering of birth, old age, sickness, and death in the world.

Ao Tu used the Five-Colored Divine Light to trap this world for three days, but failed to break the Medicine Buddha's Lapis Lazuli Golden Body. He was too exhausted, so he released him and left him outside the city.

The Medicine Buddha sat cross-legged in the void, reciting his twelve vows. He then manifested Twelve Guardian Generals, each leading seven thousand yakshas, who attacked him.

At Ao Tu's command, all the demons came out, and the Scorpion Demon stung them one by one upon meeting them.

The Medicine Buddha poured out a Lapis Lazuli Golden Elixir, also known as the Great Lapis Lazuli Medicine, from his Medicine Buddha Gourd. He blew on it, and the Guardian general who had been stung stood up again.

Upon seeing this, Ao Tu stepped forward and attacked the Medicine Buddha.

They exchanged a few blows.

The Medicine Buddha wasn't skilled in martial arts, but his Golden Body of Lapis Lazuli was incredibly powerful, Ao Tu found it difficult to break.

Ao Tu then showed no mercy, forming a hand seal with his right hand and spewing out the Six-Ding Divine Fire from his seven orifices to burn the Medicine Buddha.

The Medicine Buddha stood with his palms together, barely managing to withstand the attack with his golden Golden Body. Ao Tu then spat out a mouthful of Great Sun True Fire, burning a crack in the Golden Body on his hand. The flesh and blood on the Medicine Buddha instantly turned to ashes.

The Medicine Buddha then emptied his Medicine Buddha Gourd, pouring out a Lapis Lazuli Golden Elixir. The pill circled around his hand, and his hand was instantly healed.

Ao Tu thought to himself how formidable the attack was, and then summoned the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity again, bumping into the Medicine Buddha Medicine Buddha, who stumbled.

Ao Tu seized the opportunity to snatch the Gourd.

The Medicine Buddha quickly stuffed the Gourd into his robes.

Helpless, Ao Tu turned the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity around, disrupting the Medicine Buddha's Dao energy. Taking advantage of the opportunity, he made a hand seal with his left hand and unleashed a killing move, slashing out a Shangqing Sword Qi that went straight for the Medicine Buddha's initial Attainment of the Dao, aiming to seize Heavenly Secrets and cut off the result of his Attainment of the Dao.

The Medicine Buddha's Dao nature was disrupted by the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity, and he could not stop it. With a crack, his crystal Golden Body shattered, and a deep sword wound appeared on the Medicine Buddha's body, turning him into Mortal.

This is the sword of Shangqing, which severed the result of its Attainment of the Dao.

The Medicine Buddha then poured out the Lapis Lazuli Golden Elixir, rolled it around on his body, and restored his foundation for Attainment of the Dao.

Ao Tu was amazed by the power of the pill, which even the Shangqing Sword Qi could not cut through, so he ordered his Blood Sea Incarnation to join the attack.

The two attacked together, Medicine Buddha, with his two fists, was no match for four hands and could not resist.

The Blood Sea King spat out Red Sand from the Soul-Scattering Gourd, which struck the Medicine Buddha's glazed Golden Body, instantly leaving it pitted and scarred.

The Medicine Buddha then poured out medicinal pills.

Ao Tu immediately manifested Five-Colored Divine Light to take it.

The Medicine Buddha, however, was shrewd and had anticipated Ao Tu's attempt to snatch it. He poured the pill onto his back and held it between his spine, causing Ao Tu's Five-Colored Divine Light to miss its target.

The glazed Golden Body has been repaired.

Ao Tu then took out the Flame-Light Banner from the Ground, rolled it up, and disrupted the five elements of the Medicine Buddha, reversing his Yin and Yang.

Taking advantage of the opportunity Blood Sea Incarnation unleashed a sword strike, shattering the Crystal Golden Body and piercing the heart of the Medicine Buddha.

The Medicine Buddha then pointed the Gourd at his heart, shook it, and the injury healed.

Ao Tu used the Five-Colored Divine Light to collect the Gourd, and the Medicine Buddha tightly gripped the Gourd Gourd, entering the Five-Colored Divine Light together with it.

The Eastern Pure Lapis Lazuli World was the fundamental the Path of the Medicine Buddha, so when the Medicine Buddha was absorbed into the Five-Colored Divine Light, that world was also absorbed. However, the Twelve Divine Generals and eighty-four thousand yakshas who came out to fight were left outside and were all killed by the Blood Sea King with Red Sand.

The Medicine Buddha transformed his body into an immeasurable form amidst Five-Colored Divine Light, attempting to break through Ao Tu's Five-Phases Qi.

Ao Tu possesses Primordial Divine Saints, innate body, with an inexhaustible supply of the Five-Phases Qi, thus making him unbreakable.

When the Medicine Buddha saw that he could not break through the five energies, he chanted sutras inside. Ao Tu could not do anything about it and was annoyed by listening to it. Helpless, he had no choice but to release him again. However, when he released the Medicine Buddha, he threw a Five-Light Stone at his head, hitting the Medicine Buddha Medicine Buddha the face and knocking off his nose.

The Medicine Buddha didn't mind. He took out the Gourd, twirled the medicine pill on the severed nose, and the nose grew back.

Upon seeing this, Ao Tu thought to himself, "This old monk is truly formidable. Although he doesn't possess any offensive techniques, his crystal-clear Golden Body is extremely strong and cannot be easily broken. Even when it was slightly damaged, he repaired it with that medicinal pill."

Unless you kill him outright, it will be very difficult to win.

Ao Tu then conceived the idea of using the Twelve Divine Fiends Formation of the Twelve Capitals. He could use him to test the Formation, so that he wouldn't be rusty Tathagata fighting the Buddha.

Ignoring his own injuries, and relying on the fact that Ao Tu and the Blood Sea King couldn't break his crystal Golden Body in one or two moves, the Medicine Buddha took the golden branch and went to fight the demons. After his crystal Golden Body was broken, he used medicinal pills to repair it.

The demons were terrified.

Ao Tu said, "You all obey my command and retreat behind my statue!"
