Subduing demons at Lion Camel Ridge (43)
Meanwhile, the Eighteen Arhats were imprisoned by Ao Tu, Tathagata Buddha spoke again about the Belongings and the need to Eastern Migration.
The Monks were unwilling to accept this. The Medicine Buddha had already defeated the Demon Dragon, so why was the Eastern Migration necessary now? Therefore, they all asked the Medicine Buddha to make the decision.
Medicine Buddha knew his own situation well. His Gourd was gone, his elixir was gone, how could he afford to fight again? Therefore, no matter how much the the Monks pleaded, he remained unmoved.
The Monks had no choice. They dared not go down the mountain to deal with the Demon Dragon themselves, so they could only let Kasyapa arrange for people to sort through their Belongings.
Kasyapa found four powerful Vajras, each with a Dragon-Binding Rope, and tied them to the Bodhi Tree. Then, together they pulled hard to try to pull the tree out.
The ground rumbled and trembled as the roots of the Bodhi Tree, connected to the Spirit Mountain's veins, broke through the soil, causing the entire Great Thunderclap Temple to shake.
An old monk knelt before the tree, wailing and crying:
"Amitabha Buddha! Amitabha Buddha! If you do not manifest your divine power, the foundation of our religion will crumble today!"
Kasyapa angrily said, "Where did this old monk come from, daring to spout nonsense and slander the World-Honored One! Guards, go and gag him!"
As soon as he finished speaking, two Arhat went over, took off the old monk's worn-out shoes, crumpled them into a ball, and tried to stuff them into the old monk's mouth.
Just then, boundless Buddha-Light shone forth, and Amitabha Buddha appeared, saying to Kasyapa, "Mahākāśyapa, you must not break the precept against anger!"
When Kasyapa saw that Amitabha Buddha had truly manifested his divine power, he immediately dared not act rashly and hurriedly instructed the Arhat to take back the smelly shoes.
The old monk knelt before the Amitabha Buddha's body, repeatedly kowtowing, and said:
"Amitabha Buddha! That Demon Dragon and the Blood Sea Old Monster have gathered together to wreak havoc, and no one can subdue them. The World-Honored One, fearing these Demon Evil, has ordered us to move our entire faith Eastern Migration. We beg you to intervene!"
Amitabha Buddha smiled and said, "Shakyamuni considered the overall situation; you should not be too harsh on him. As for those three Demon Heads, I will go and subdue them."
Upon hearing this, the Monks knelt down and expressed their endless gratitude.
Amitabha Buddha then rode on Auspicious Light Celebration Cloud, heading towards Lion Camel City.
Upon seeing this, the the Monks followed in the footsteps of the Sage and went together.
In a short while, they arrived at Lion Camel City.
All that could be seen was an endless Evil Qi swirling and billowing from the city walls. The Monks were terrified and dared not move forward, Vishnu Bodhisattva and others hid behind Amitabha Buddha.
Amitabha Buddha pointed his finger, and a beam of Buddha-Light swept across the path, breaking through the endless Blood Fiend Evil Qi.
When Ao Tu came out and saw that it was Amitabha Buddha, he knew that he could not resist.
It's now one year short of the Twelve Years mark for the obstruction, and it seems unlikely that the required amount will be reached.
However, the Twelve Divine Fiends Formation of the Twelve Capitals had been prepared for a long time and could not be wasted.
Let's talk about it after the battle.
The Blood Sea Incarnation emerged from the other side, immediately lifting the Soul-Scattering Gourd and spewing out endless Red Sand Blood Fiend that swept over.
The Monks were terrified and dared not look directly at him.
Amitabha Buddha sat in the void, emitting Forty-Eight Śarīra Lights, chanting the Infinite Life Sutra, dispelling endless Red Sand and Blood Fiend, and liberating all the Vengeful Souls in Lion Camel City.
Ao Tu brought out the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity.
The Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity pierced through the void, transforming into the size of a world, intending to contain Amitabha Buddha within it.
The Monks were so frightened that they buried their heads and covered their faces with their Kasaya.
Amitabha Buddha flicked his ring finger lightly, striking the Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity. The Golden Bushel of Primordial Unity immediately emitted endless mournful cries and fell into Ao Tu's arms.
Ao Tu spat out a mouthful of blood.
When the the Monks saw Ao Tu coughing up blood and injured, they were overjoyed and wanted to step forward to subdue the demon.
Upon seeing this, the demons rushed forward and blocked the the Monks.
Ao Tu spat out blood, which landed on the great formation, activating the Twelve Divine Fiends Formation of the Twelve Capitals and manifesting a projection of Pangu.
The Blood Sea Incarnation is, after all, just Incarnation. In terms of the true Ancestral Shaman Bloodline, Ao Tu's own bloodline is still the purest.
That Pangu Phantom, holding Giant Axe, looked towards Amitabha Buddha.
The Heaven-Opening Divine Eye brightly, while Amitabha Buddha averted his gaze. Upon seeing the Pangu Phantom, even a Sage like himself couldn't help but become more solemn.
Ao Tu manipulated the Pangu Phantom, bringing down the Giant Axe to suppress the Three Thousand Great Daos with pure force.
This axe moved slowly, but because it suppressed the Three Thousand Great Daos, it could not be avoided.
The Monks and the demons were locked in a stalemate when the Giant Axe fell, plunging the sky and earth into darkness. They all tried to flee.
The path of speed was suppressed by force, and the monks skilled in speed could not escape.
The spatial path was suppressed by force, and the monks skilled in spatial manipulation could not escape.
The art of teleportation and soaring was suppressed by force, and the monks skilled in teleportation and soaring could not escape.
The Five Phases Escape Technique and various methods of avoidance were suppressed by force, and even monks skilled in escape could not flee.
The Monks could only watch helplessly as the Giant Axe fell.
Three Sarira appeared on the top of Amitabha Buddha's head, emitting a rainbow of light that held up the Giant Axe.
The Monks were then saved.
Upon seeing this, Ao Tu spat out his Essence Blood, causing the Pangu Phantom to grow even larger, gradually taking on a somewhat solid form.
The Axe Light fell, no longer slashing at the white light of the Śarīra, but directly striking the Great Dao held by Amitabha Buddha.
Among the Three Thousand Great Daos, the most robust Great Dao is called the Buddhism and Daoism.
Compared to this path, the the Path of the Medicine Buddha is like the glow of decaying grass compared to the bright moon in the sky; or rather, the the Path of the Medicine Buddha is a the Path that is dependent on the Buddhism and Daoism.
Beyond Buddhism and Daoism and Daoism, there are countless branches, like the scattered radiance of moonlight, endless and boundless.
These are different from those of the Medicine Buddha; they are the Buddha Dao Fruit that exist beneath the fruits of Amitabha Buddha's Dao Fruit. If the Medicine Buddha is attached to the Buddhism and Daoism, then these Dao Fruit are entirely branches and offshoots of the Buddhism and Daoism's path.
Those who depend on others can choose to break away, but they will only suffer some losses. But branches that are separated from the main body will die.
Previously, Ao Tu was secretly plotted against by Amitabha Buddha. If he hadn't woken up in time, he would have ended up like these branches.
Ao Tu brought his axe down, striking the Buddhism and Daoism.
The Buddhism and Daoism was so vast that it was unimaginable; a single axe blow did not move it an inch, only many of the branches above were cut off.
In the Western Heaven Western Paradise, among ten trillion Buddha lands, many Buddha have passed away.
Amitabha Buddha's power was thus diminished.
It's like throwing a stone into the sea; the splashes are about the same as the damage on the shore.
Amitabha Buddha looked over, raised a Fly-Whisk, and wrapped it around the Pangu Phantom.
Five-Colored Lotus Flowers appeared on the Fly-Whisk, enveloping Ao Tu. Amitabha Buddha said, "Come with me to the Western Heaven Paradise!"
Ao Tu ignored him and activated the Twelve Divine Fiends Formation of the Twelve Capitals. The Blood Fiend that had accumulated over the years were quickly consumed. Pangu Phantom solidified a bit more, and with a struggle, he pushed aside the Five-Colored Lotus Flowers, wielded his Giant Axe, and cleaved through the Buddhism and Daoism.
In ancient times, Pangu Heaven-Opening and Earth-Creating, splitting open the Three Thousand Great Daos to create the world.
Ao Tu is far from possessing the great power of Great God Pangu, but he doesn't need to cleave the Three Thousand Great Daos; he only needs to cleave the Buddhism and Daoism.
In the blink of an eye, forty-nine axe blows fell, severing countless branches and causing countless Buddha to pass away.
Amitabha Buddha didn't mind and took out a tattered Green Lotus Daoist Robe.
Ao Tu cursed, "Old monk, I don't know where you stole that Daoist Daoist Robe from, disguised yourself as Daoist, and ambushed me!"
Amitabha Buddha smiled and said, "This is Treasure Banner that your Good Corpse obtained in the past when it seized an opportunity. I borrowed it and intended to return it, but he didn't want it for some reason, so it has remained until now."
After speaking, he shook his Daoist Daoist Robe, which transformed into a Treasure Banner, the Eastern Green Lotus Treasure-Colored Banner. However, the banner was also damaged and somewhat tattered.
Ao Tu angrily said, "You treacherous old monk! You borrowed my Treasure Banner of the Good Corpse, and you didn't take good care of it, leaving it in this state!"
Amitabha Buddha smiled and said, "Clothes wear out naturally over time; this is the natural order. How can you blame me?"
