Guanyin Bodhisattva couldn't see through it at first, but when the blood energy followed the Evil Qi and landed on Ao Tu Ao Tu, strengthening his cultivation, she quickly guessed that this was the Evil Corpse about to be slain.

Guanyin Bodhisattva was very anxious, but dared not offer any advice.

This is because Corpse-Slaying is a great opportunity, extremely rare.

If I were to offer a reminder, it might actually ruin Ao Tu's chance.

Ao Tu was surprised and puzzled when he realized that the blood energy had strengthened him.

How could the Buddha's charade Tathagata lead to Diligence in his cultivation?

In the Vision, the Evil God sews together the skins of all the creatures from a continent, creating a pouch that serves as both a treasure for Attainment of the Dao and Baleful Qi Treasure.

In an instant, boundless Merit descended from the sky, and the pocket transformed into Merit Treasure.

The Evil God, wielding that bag, attacked the Buddhist Sect. He first captured Five Hundred Arhats, then the Four Great Bodhisattva, and then the Buddha of the Three Ages. Finally, Amitabha Buddha held the bag up with his body, and the Daoist Zhunti struck him on the head with Vajra Pestle, causing him to fall.

The Vision fades away.

Ao Tu was filled with overwhelming Evil Qi.

The demons were terrified and dared not look directly at him.

Some of the Demon quietly retreated, trying to escape.

That Nine-Headed Bug was incredibly clumsy; six of its heads were stretched out in front, pretending not to have fled, while the remaining two heads were turned back, as if it were about to spread its wings and leave.

Ao Tu glanced at him, Nine-Headed Bug was so frightened that he knelt on the ground with a thud, saying, "Your Great King, my uncle wrote to me the other day saying that he is seriously ill and asking me to go to the North Sea to visit him!"

Ao Tu said, "A formidable enemy is at hand, are you going to leave first?" With that, he swept away his Evil Qi, and the six heads of the Nine-Headed Bug vanished in an instant.

The Nine-Headed Bug didn't dare to move, and its remaining two heads kowtowed repeatedly.

Guanyin Bodhisattva gently grasped Ao Tu's hand and whispered, "Guard your true self."

Ao Tu felt a cool sensation coming from his palm, suppressing his Evil Qi, and said, "You have rendered service to me, so I will not punish you. Tiger Vanguard, there is a Sati Bodhisattva's Lotus in the treasure vault. Take it and give it to him so he can cure his uncle's illness. This will be considered as a reward for his service these past few days."

Tiger Vanguard heard this and brought over the Lotus Flower.

Nine-Headed Bug was initially hesitant to accept the offer.

Ao Tu repeated himself and returned the six heads to him before the Nine-Headed Bug dared to accept the Lotus Flower.

After taking the Lotus Flower, Nine-Headed Bug felt a pang of regret. His uncle had told him that this place held a great opportunity, and he shouldn't have left so hastily. If he had stayed, he would have gained even more benefits.

However, his home was in the North Sea, and his lair was built on the shore of Northern Utarakuru. Just now, he saw in that Vision that Ao Tu slaughtered all the living beings of an entire state. The Evil Qi aura was overwhelming and had entered reality, which terrified him so much that he dared not stay any longer.

The Nine-Headed Bug had no choice but to take the treasure and leave.

After the Nine-Headed Bug left, several Demon King and generals from Beiju Luzhou also wanted to leave, as well as some of the Little Demon from before. Ao Tu agreed to all of them, and each would be rewarded for their merits.

Several Demon from Lion Camel Ridge saw this and said they wanted to leave as well.

Seeing this, Ao Tu angrily said, "They have followed me for a long time and have done me a service, so it's fine if they leave. But you haven't done anything of service, and you even ate my Buddha Flesh for free, and now you want to leave?"

Having said that, a wisp of Evil Qi swept over them, and the demons hurriedly cried, "Third Great King, spare our lives!" But they were swallowed up before they could utter even half a word of the word "three."

The other Demon fell silent in fear, and dared not even speak of leaving.

At that moment, Eighteen Arhats appeared on auspicious Auspicious Clouds in the sky.

Ao Tu said, "Dragon-Subduing Arhat, the Tathagata Monk has tricked us and ruined our morale. You still dare to come here? Are you here to die?"

The Dragon-Subduing Arhat clasped his hands in a gesture of respect and said:

"Ao Tu, the Buddha Tathagata sent us to advise you, instructing you to return to the Western Heaven and attain Right Fruit. If you remain obstinate and do not understand, you will hardly survive."

Ao Tu said, "Green Lion, White Elephant, Golden-Winged Great Peng, capture them!"

Upon hearing this, the Three Demons immediately stepped forward.

The Green Lion slapped down three with one slap, and six with two slaps.

The White Elephant rolled back eight with its trunk.

The remaining two, Subduing Dragon and Tiger-Subduing Arhat, were captured by the Golden-Winged Great Peng.

Ao Tu said, "Lock him up, and every six days, take his blood essence to feed the formation."

The demons then imprisoned the Eighteen Arhats.

Ao Tu dispersed the demons.

At night, many more Demon secretly fled.

They were all captured by the Golden-Winged Great Peng and sacrificed in the battle formation.

The Evil Qi in Ao Tu's eyes grew stronger.

Guanyin Bodhisattva was anxious, fearing that Ao Tu would be unable to slay the Evil Corpse and would instead be corrupted by its Malice. She wanted to speak up to remind him, but feared that the Evil Qi would dissipate directly and he would miss the opportunity. So she could only subtly suggest to Ao Tu:

"The scene in that painting is not real; do not let it influence you."

Upon hearing this, Ao Tu saw the worry in Guanyin Bodhisattva's heart and smiled:

"Teacher, don't worry about me. I know it's just Evil Corpse!"

Upon hearing this, Guanyin Bodhisattva exclaimed in surprise, "You know!"

Ao Tu nodded.

Guanyin Bodhisattva was overjoyed and said, "Since you know it is Evil Corpse, you can control it. Although the Evil Corpse is evil, it is also your own path. Cut it down, and your cultivation will greatly improve! But remember, you must not be controlled by it!"

Ao Tu laughed and said, "Teacher, don't worry."

Guanyin Bodhisattva nodded. As the saying goes, it is easy to know others, but difficult to know oneself. Ao Tu was able to recognize that it was Evil Corpse, which meant that he had already succeeded more than halfway. The rest was just a matter of time.

Guanyin Bodhisattva then withdrew.

Ao Tu watched Guanyin Bodhisattva's retreating figure, his smile fading.

Others could see the Evil Qi in his eyes; even an ordinary Little Demon could see it clearly. But in his own eyes, he was just himself, unchanged.

On the other side, the Tathagata Buddha waited all day, but the Eighteen Arhats had not returned. He then addressed the the Monks:

"The Eighteen Arhats have not returned, so it seems the Sarira has not been effective. Under this Great Calamity, Spirit Mountain has become a place of trouble; we monks must not linger here. Kasyapa, quickly pack your Belongings and prepare carriages and horses. The Monks will follow me to the Eastern Lands."

As soon as he finished speaking, none of the Buddhas— Dipankara Buddha, Maitreya Buddha, Medicine Buddha— protested.
