After withdrawing from the Black-Gold Great Hall, Yue Wen felt a little more assured.
This seal art... he would call it the Azure Dragon Seal for now. Simply infusing it with Dragon Breath allowed him to control the Spirituality the Azure Dragon had left behind. No wonder the Incomplete Dragon Claw and the severed finger had stirred in response.
He took out these two parts of the Azure Dragon's body and placed them together.
The Incomplete Dragon Claw had been refined before, but its True Dragon flesh had not been fully awakened. Its scales were mottled and damaged, and its withered portions still retained some of the coloring of vegetation.
The Root Carving, however, had changed considerably. After Yue Wen's prolonged infusion and refinement with Dragon Breath, it had now shed its wooden coloring and become a thick, long cylinder bulging with blue veins, the vitality surging within it growing ever more vigorous.
As Yue Wen activated the Azure Dragon Seal, both severed pieces began to hum and tremble, rising excitedly into the air like wanderers returning to their homeland after years away.
Sensing their deep connection to him, Yue Wen had a sudden idea. He guided the dragon finger and the Incomplete Dragon Claw together, having them attempt to fuse.
Whoosh-
Amid a dazzling burst of azure light, the two severed pieces actually fused into one, adding a thick, long finger to the middle of the original dragon claw.
From the look of it, this dragon finger might have belonged to the Azure Dragon's hind claw, while the Incomplete Dragon Claw might have been a foreclaw. The finger stood out conspicuously on it, as though the dragon claw could stick out its middle finger.
Although it looked a little ugly, this did make the dragon claw somewhat more complete.
