After returning to the Agency, Yue Wen thought for a while.
Should I warn the Fox Demon Lady to run?
Ever since having her kill Hu Hanyi, Yue Wen had focused on preparing for the Ascendant Dragon Assembly and had not contacted her. He had not heard any news about Su Yun lately, either, and did not know whether she was still working as an actress.
Yue Wen searched online and discovered that Su Yun's social media account had posted behind-the-scenes footage from a film set just a few days ago. It seemed she was not only still acting, but enjoying it very much.
Logically, the Dragon Hall and the Supernatural Affairs Bureau should have had a hard time finding her. Even if they knew she was in River City, as long as the Fox Demon Lady did not expose herself, their investigation should never have led them to a popular actress.

What if they have some way to divine the Fox Demon Lady's hiding place?
Would they uncover my involvement with her then?
Yue Wen had always remained somewhat wary of the Fox Demon Lady, unsure whether what she told him was true. Now, his caution seemed justified. Those who cultivated the Great Dao of Illusion and Reality really were not all that trustworthy.
Still, so far, the Fox Demon Lady had done nothing against him and had even helped him several times. Wary as he was, Yue Wen certainly hoped she would be all right.
Whether he considered her interests or his own, maintaining the status quo was best.
