Ch. 357A Sudden Change in the Mizukage's Guards

Sasuke gave his Mizukage's Guard assignment to his father, Uchiha Fugaku, so he could oversee the newly revived Uchiha Clan in Kirigakure. As the Five Kage Summit began in the Land of Iron, the Fourth Raikage arrived first, followed by Ōnoki with Kurotsuchi and Deidara.

  • Sasuke told Fugaku that Raito had guided his training and enabled the Uchiha Clan's revival, and Fugaku agreed to let Sasuke decide their future.
  • A Mist Ninja announced Sasuke's appointment as one of the Mizukage's guards for the trip to the Land of Iron, but Fugaku volunteered to take his place so Sasuke could manage the clan.
  • Mei Terumi recognized Fugaku's substitution as a sign that the Uchiha Clan did not seek the Mizukage's seat, and Raito looked forward to the reactions his guards would provoke at the summit.
  • Mifune welcomed the Fourth Raikage and his aides, Darui and C, to the Land of Iron as the first delegation to arrive.
  • Ōnoki arrived with Kurotsuchi and Deidara, and Mifune recognized Deidara as a former Akatsuki S-rank missing-nin before Ōnoki explained that he had returned to Iwagakure.

Gaara offered to place Sunagakure under Kirigakure’s leadership in exchange for ending its gold dust deliveries, but Raito rejected the offer and Gaara threatened to stake his village’s future on a confrontation.

  • Tsunade asked Raito to return Konoha’s Scroll of Seals, and Raito agreed only to let Konoha collect it after he finished reading it.
  • The Third Tsuchikage warned that Raito could copy the scroll’s forbidden techniques, deepening Konoha’s anger toward Kirigakure.
  • Gaara offered to yield Sunagakure’s claim to One-Tail Shukaku and accept Kirigakure’s leadership if Raito stopped the gold dust deliveries.
  • Raito refused, saying One-Tail was his spoils of war and that he would not surrender the tailed beasts.
  • The Raikage and Third Tsuchikage condemned Raito’s refusal, and the Raikage smashed the conference table as the Kage considered joining forces against Kirigakure.

  • Gekkō Raito teased Tsunade about Fugaku’s return, while she suspected Kirigakure had resurrected Uchiha elites; the Raikage recalled Fugaku’s mysterious wartime record and feared his hidden strength.

Ch. 362The four Kage tried to kill Raito, only for a blunder to strike

  • Kakashi’s Great Fireball Technique vanished when it struck the black-ice dragon, which continued its charge toward the group.

Ch. 365Five Releases unleashed, crushing the four Kage

Gekkō Raito unleashed a coordinated assault using all five elemental releases and overwhelmed the four Kage-level fighters, though the Fourth Raikage resisted and Tsunade healed the wounded. The Tsuchikage ordered everyone to spread out, and Gaara trapped Raito in a crushing mass of sand.

  • Gekkō Raito turned shattered ice into shuriken and redirected them against the Raikage's group.

  • Madara recognized the Ten-Tails chakra within Raito and wondered how he had obtained it.

Ch. 374Raito returned to Kirigakure with the Tailed Beasts

Raito flew back to Kirigakure with the captured Tailed Beasts, eager to obtain the Shinigami Mask and claim the remaining Nine-Tails chakra. Left behind, the Raikage, Ōnoki, and Gaara agreed to seek peace with Kirigakure by trading away their Tailed Beasts, while Ōnoki planned for a chance to reclaim them in the future.

  • Madara wondered how Raito had gained Ten-Tails chakra and remained frustrated that Obito had not awakened the Rinnegan.
  • Raito sensed someone watching him, then hurried toward Kirigakure after Kyuji reported finding the Shinigami Mask.
  • Raito used a water dragon to carry himself, Fugaku, and Hinata through the sky toward Kirigakure.

  • The three leaders agreed to contact Kirigakure, and Ōnoki added a clause allowing them to demand the Tailed Beasts back if peace ended.

Ch. 375Chakra Actually Came to Me on Its Own

Gekkō Raito discovered that Asura’s and Indra’s chakra had entered his body and greatly strengthened his Six Paths power. He concluded that the chakra had instinctively chosen him as a stronger vessel, then considered how Six Paths power persisted across the Shinobi World.

  • Gekkō Raito felt an alarming surge of Six Paths power and asked Great Sage to investigate two unfamiliar chakra sources.
  • Great Sage ruled out outside interference and identified the sources as chakra matching Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha.
  • Gekkō Raito deduced that the chakra belonged to Asura and Indra, and Great Sage confirmed he had acquired both powers.
  • Great Sage reasoned that the chakra had instinctively chosen Gekkō Raito as a vessel because of his strength.
  • Gekkō Raito reflected on the Six Paths power scattered among the tailed beasts, the reincarnations of Asura and Indra, and the Sage of Six Paths, then concluded Hamura Otsutsuki’s chakra endured elsewhere because he had left the Shinobi World.

Ch. 376The Uchiha Clan's Resurrection Sparks Murderous Intent

Gekkō Raito resolved to pursue the Ten-Tails and develop his Six Paths Power while waiting for Kyuji. Elsewhere, Madara Uchiha, Obito, and Orochimaru identified bloodline purity as the likely reason Obito had failed to awaken the Rinnegan and planned to target Uchiha outside Kirigakure.

  • Gekkō Raito concluded that he needed the Ten-Tails to complete his Six Paths Power and chose to spend the wait developing his abilities.
  • Orochimaru found no breakthrough in Obito's Rinnegan experiments and suggested that Obito's Uchiha bloodline was not pure enough.
  • Madara Uchiha agreed that bloodline purity could explain why Obito had failed to evolve his eyes.
  • Madara Uchiha told Obito and Orochimaru that the Uchiha Clan had been resurrected and now lived in Kirigakure.
  • Obito warned that approaching Kirigakure would risk a fight with Gekkō Raito, and Madara agreed they needed to be cautious.
  • Orochimaru proposed ambushing Uchiha who left the village, and Madara approved the plan.

  • Madara could no longer sense Black Zetsu and wondered whether Zetsu had developed an independent will.
  • Black Zetsu possessed a Hyuga branch family ninja, traveled to the moon, and secretly followed the Ōtsutsuki Clan, believing their power could help him defeat Gekkō Raito.
  • Raito strengthened his passive skills while waiting for Kyuji's right-hand man to return with a Shinigami Mask and a worn short blade.
  • Raito performed the ritual, released Minato Namikaze's soul, and used a White Zetsu Clone as the sacrifice for Impure World Reincarnation.
  • Minato recognized Raito as the Sixth Mizukage, and Raito reassured him that Konoha was safe and said Naruto was his friend.

Ch. 378Resurrection of Minato, Appearance of the Ten-Tails

Gekkō Raito extracted the Yin Nine-Tails from Minato, revived him, and sent him to Konoha to see Naruto. He then summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and used the Tailed Beasts taken from his Jinchūriki to resurrect the Ten-Tails, absorbing its Six Paths Power.

Ch. 379Raito entered seclusion to fuse the Super Ten-Tails

Raito began a three-month fusion of the native Ten-Tails and the Degenerate Ten-Tails while placing Kirigakure under Mei Terumi’s authority. Madara and Obito learned that the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path had been summoned away and suspected Raito was preparing to become the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki.

  • Raito decided to fuse the two Ten-Tails, and the Great Sage estimated the uninterrupted process would take three months.
  • Raito ordered Kyuji to give Mei Terumi full authority over Kirigakure and told the village to resist any attacks from Kumogakure, Iwagakure, or Sunagakure.
  • Raito sealed himself inside an absolute exclusion zone and began the fusion as the two Ten-Tails clashed and merged on a microscopic level.
  • White Zetsu told Madara and Obito that someone had summoned away the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, leading them to conclude that the Rinnegan still existed.
  • Madara suspected Raito intended to become the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki and told Obito to obtain more Uchiha material so he could awaken the Rinnegan and revive Madara.
  • Orochimaru reported that Minato Namikaze had left Kirigakure’s territory, while Obito guessed that Raito had revived him for Naruto Uzumaki.
