Gekkō Raito led the Seven Ninja Swordsmen against Akatsuki and battled Nagato, Hashirama, and their reanimated forces. While Raito was delayed, Akatsuki attacked Kirigakure, where he stopped Obito and took the Two-Tails, but Nagato and the freed beasts still threatened the village.

• Raito joined Sasuke in hunting Akatsuki, and their forces converged on its base as Orochimaru and Kabuto deployed reanimated fighters against the Raikage’s squad.
• Raito fought Nagato and reanimated Hashirama, then used a massive fire attack that allowed Akatsuki to escape and trap him behind a barrier with several reanimated opponents.
• Raito warned Mei Terumi that Akatsuki was heading for Kirigakure, defeated the reanimated fighters, and used Kotoamatsukami to destroy the barrier and bring Hashirama back to life.
• Nagato attacked Kirigakure while Obito, Konan, Yahiko, and Zetsu targeted the village’s Jinchūriki, killing the Yuki Clan twins Chisa and Ayaka during the assault.
• Raito arrived at the Jinchūriki stronghold, erased Yahiko, extracted Shukaku’s chakra from Konan, and wounded Obito when he tried to escape with Kamui.
• Raito used ROOM to pull the Two-Tails from Obito and devoured it, while Zetsu escaped with the unconscious Obito as the underground base collapsed.
• Nagato attacked Mei Terumi’s group, and the empty bodies of Shukaku and Matatabi emerged from the ground as Shukaku began forming a Tailed Beast Bomb.

Gekkō Raito defeated Nagato, revived Kirigakure’s dead, and established the village as a force holding eight tailed beasts. While Sasuke sought the means to revive his clan, Raito stole Konoha’s Scroll of Seals, prompting the other great villages to convene a Five Kage Summit.

• Gekkō Raito defeated Nagato, recovered the Eight-Tails and Rinnegan, restored Kirigakure, and revived Chisa, Ayaka, and other villagers.
• Gekkō Raito protected Sasuke from Naruto’s demand that he return to Konoha, and Sasuke chose to join Kirigakure.
• Hashirama returned to Konoha, learned how the village had treated Naruto and the Uchiha, and condemned Tobirama and Hiruzen’s policies.
• Gekkō Raito helped Sasuke prepare to revive the Uchiha, while Obito and Orochimaru formed an alliance with Madara against Raito.
• Gekkō Raito led Kirigakure’s delegation to meet Tsunade at the Valley of the End, warning her that he would not surrender the tailed beasts.
• While the meeting held Konoha’s forces away, Sasuke stole the Scroll of Seals and recovered Danzo’s stockpile of Uchiha Sharingan from Root’s base.
• Gekkō Raito left Konoha with Sasuke and the stolen scroll, and the Fourth Raikage called for a Five Kage Summit to pressure him over the tailed beasts.
• Gaara, Ōnoki, and Tsunade agreed to attend the summit, though Gaara rejected reclaiming Shukaku.

Gekkō Raito defied the Five Kage at the summit, defeated their fighters, and declared war before later turning toward completing his Six Paths Power. After reviving Minato and forming the Ten-Tails, he sealed himself away to fuse two Ten-Tails while Madara and Obito began planning against him.

• Raito revived the Uchiha clan and Sasuke brought them to Kirigakure, where Fugaku accepted Sasuke’s decision to join the village.
• At the Five Kage Summit, Raito refused to return the tailed beasts and declared the Fourth Shinobi World War, prompting the leaders and their guards to attack him.
• Hinata, Fugaku, and Raito fought the Kage’s forces, and Raito challenged Might Guy to a wager over the tailed beasts and Konoha’s place in the war.
• Guy opened the Eighth Gate and struck Raito with Night Guy, but Raito survived, revived the dying Guy, and left the summit warning the leaders that Kirigakure was ready for war.
• Raito learned that he had acquired the chakra of Asura and Indra, while Madara, Obito, and Orochimaru planned to ambush Uchiha who left Kirigakure.
• Raito used the Shinigami Mask to release Minato’s soul, took the Yin Nine-Tails from him, and revived him so he could return to Naruto.
• Raito summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, fed it the Yin Nine-Tails and chakra from the other Jinchūriki, and absorbed the resulting Ten-Tails’ Six Paths Power.
• Raito began fusing two Ten-Tails inside an absolute exclusion zone, while Madara and Obito concluded the Rinnegan still existed and planned to obtain more Uchiha material.
