Refinement
The Artisan's skeptical attitude made Kronos Consciousness what he was hesitating about.
So he said, "I can make a contract with you. As long as you work hard for me, you can write down any conditions you want on it."
This last sentence finally convinced the Artisan to relent. "Are you serious?"
Kronos took a Scroll from his pocket and handed it to the Artisan.
"This is Scroll of the power of contracts; we can enter into a contract at any time."
For this Scroll, Kronos even went to search through Marquis Argel's collection. Actually, he could have searched through the Family Secret Manual and found the production methods for one or two Scroll without making a difference, but there wasn't enough time.
Fortunately, Marquis Argel had actually made such a Scroll before, otherwise he would have had to borrow Mr. Eye of Wisdom's Beyonder Item to draw up the contract.
Seeing that Kronos had handed over the Scroll of the contract, the Artisan stood up, straightened his clothes, and bowed to Kronos. "Hello, Boss, my name is Roel Patrick, a Sequence 6 Artisan."
Kronos laughed heartily, then ripped off his Vampire Mask and said, "Hello, Roel, my name is Kronos Argel."
That night, a group of people rushed back to the Argel Manor. Since Roel had not yet signed the contract, someone was still watching over him and his daughter for the time being.
Roel expressed his understanding of this.
Having witnessed even more tragic ends, he could understand Kronos as long as he didn't do anything too outrageous.
The very next morning, Kronos and Roel finalized the details of the contract and signed it, bringing the Artisan under their wing.
Kronos presented Roel with Lawyer's Potion as a signing gift and even gave him a tour of his Storeroom.
This stroll almost made Roel faint.
This dizziness is probably due to two reasons: firstly, I've never seen so many Beyonder Item before.
The Artisan were promoted from Appraiser. Before they made things themselves, they learned how to analyze and appraise these Beyonder Item. Therefore, the Beyonder Item in this Storeroom will be of great help to Roel.
The second aspect is the quantity of raw materials.
Roel hadn't expected his workload to be so heavy. With so many Beyonder Characteristic to complete, Roel didn't even dare to think about how long it would take.
In the end, it was only after Kronos assured him that he wouldn't be forced to turn all these Beyonder Characteristic into Beyonder Item that his psychological pressure was somewhat relieved.
This guarantee is true. Just like with Beyonder Item, Beyonder Characteristic are the same. There's nowhere to collect Beyonder Characteristic through many Pathway.
The first to be affected are the three King of Angel, Cowardly Trio, the Error Pathway, and the Door Pathway. They have caused the loss of talent by ruining their own Pathway in different ways. Although the Fool Pathway does not have this problem, the Potion Formula is not widely known.
Furthermore, dangerous Pathway such as Secrets Suppliant, Criminal, and Prisoner are rarely active on the Northern Continent.
The Pathway used by other representatives of the True God Churches are also rarely seen in the Loen Kingdom.
So in the end, most of the Beyonder Characteristic in the Storeroom corresponded to those Beyonder Item, so there was really no need to make them all Beyonder Item, since they wouldn't be useful anyway.
Kronos went to great lengths to recruit a Artisan not to consume Western Capital in the Storeroom, but simply because it would give his family a way to create Beyonder Item. Otherwise, given the temperament of the Church of Steam and Machinery, they might very well use this method to strangle the family one day.
Since he was already at the Treasury, Kronos took the opportunity to select some items to exchange with Isengard.
Isengard's 2-081 corresponds to the Polymath of Sequence 6, so Kronos intends to choose from Sequence 6.
Isengard required high attack power and few side effects, but in reality, none of the Beyonder Item that the family specially acquired had high side effects. Most of them could withstand attacks for a while, and as long as the battle was quick, there would be no significant impact.
Finally, Kronos decided to choose from three Pathway: the Tyrant Pathway, the God of Combat Pathway, and the Red Priest Pathway.
These three Pathway are among the most powerful in terms of attack power among the twenty-two Paths of the Divine, so choosing them is definitely the Error.
The only problem is that Sequence 6 of the Red Priest Pathway is the Conspirer, which doesn't really boost combat power much. If it were Sequence 5, there would be an Beyonder Item corresponding to the Reaper.
However, this Beyonder Item was quite precious, and Kronos was really reluctant to give it to Isengard.
So, after much deliberation, Kronos finally selected two Beyonder Item, corresponding to the Sequence 6 Wind-blessed of the Tyrant Pathway and the Sequence 6 Dawn Knight of the God of Combat Pathway, respectively.
Before leaving, Kronos pondered for a while, and finally took two more Beyonder Item with him.
It doesn't have to meet Isengard's requirements, but it must have enough good stuff, otherwise the persona he established beforehand would collapse, wouldn't it?
Now we have four Beyonder Item in total, so it won't be embarrassing to let Isengard choose them.
Kronos left the Storeroom, but Roel had no intention of leaving. He insisted on staying with the guard inside to study these Beyonder Item.
Kronos immediately agreed. The two had already signed a highly binding contract, and besides, there was a Sequence 5 Beyonder guarding the Storeroom, so it wasn't a big deal.
Since he had already returned once and nothing much had happened recently, Kronos decided not to rush back and would stay a few more days.
Kronos had originally planned to return soon, and his goal was to retrieve the Family Secret Manual.
Kronos has roughly found a way to completely digest all Potion, so he no longer needs to worry too much about the restrictions of the Family Secret Manual manual.
His purpose in returning this time was to learn some skills from the Family Secret Manual, so that he could better improve his combat system.
He still knows too few skills. Let alone Sequence 5, even among Sequence 6 skills, he only knows the Black Emperor and Justiciar Sequence, and he doesn't know any more.
These two Sequence are quite flexible, but they are still somewhat limited in scope. If they encounter unique situations, they may become constrained.
Kronos had already searched for the Family Secret Manual on his own before, so this time it was a piece of cake. After opening the hidden door, he took out three Family Secret Manual.
Despite the fact that the three books are roughly the same thickness, the Marquis Argel said that this was only because they were purchased together.
The first Warlock book was indeed very full, with only the last three or five pages seemingly blank.
However, this Scroll teacher's book was different. Last time, Kronos had flipped through it from back to front, so he knew very well that this book was only three-quarters full, with a lot of blank space at the end.
As for the last book, the one corresponding to the Astronomer, Marquis Argel didn't mention it, but Kronos observed from the side that only about half of it showed signs of being turned over, while the rest remained quite new.
He had the three secret manuals in his hands, but Kronos felt it best to be cautious, so he didn't open the Astronomer's manual to verify his guess.
Since he didn't intend to look at that secret book, Kronos put it aside and picked up the Scroll Professor's copy.
Kronos's original plan was to first put in his best effort according to his own ideas, and if he could make a breakthrough in this direction, then he wouldn't need to worry too much.
But even with the aid of two Blasphemy Card, Kronos still failed to achieve anything?
Despite enjoying all the privileges befitting a protagonist, Kronos still lacked confidence in himself, given the numerous failures recorded in his own family's history.
So Kronos left himself this way out.
Since the skills in the Family Secret Manual were all developed by his predecessors, he could also learn them.
In this regard, Kronos had gone to Marquis Argel to confirm whether any research Record of these skills were still kept at home.
The answer was affirmative, but these Record were kept at their home in Midseashire and not brought to Backlund.
With these research Record, Kronos believed that he too could develop his own unique Skill Scroll.
As long as this backup plan is handled well, the Potion can be digested step by step.
However, Kronos has now summarized a good pattern and completed a Scroll of Sequence 5, which means that this path is achievable.
That's why he decided to take a good look at this Family Secret Manual today.
You can look at the patterns and principles summarized by your predecessors, or you can write down a few useful skills to improve your own abilities.
Kronos slowly opened the Family Secret Manual, starting from the first page.
They spent the whole afternoon looking at it, and by the time Kronos came out of the house again, it was already dark.
Kronos didn't just watch; he also carefully deduced and Record everything in his mind.
The main reason was that Marquis Argel had repeatedly emphasized that this Family Secret Manual was very important and could not be compromised in any way, so he could not practice while reading the materials.
I can only rely on my own memory to Record it carefully, and then go to get the materials and practice properly. Although it's a bit troublesome, I still have to respect the hard work of my predecessors.
