"Sir, Mr. A asked me to tell you that he would like to meet you in the same room as last time."

Kronos was a little surprised; he really hadn't expected that Mr. A would still be able to find him under these circumstances.

Deep down, Kronos really didn't want to go, but he knew that showing weakness was something he absolutely couldn't do when dealing with such a dangerous person.

This is like confronting a dangerous carnivore. If you are fierce enough, it will communicate with you as an equal. Even if it is starving, it will carefully consider the consequences of attacking you.

But if you show weakness, the other party will not hesitate to bite off your neck.

In this respect, there is no difference between higher animals and ordinary animals.

So at the last gathering, Kronos didn't hesitate to confront them head-on. Even if he was feeling insecure, he wouldn't show it at all, which is why Kronos escaped unscathed.

But the situation is much more serious today.

Kronos's true form is still outside the Villa, and he is fully armed, so he is not in any danger.

However, manipulating the Marionette Yodsen to communicate with Mr. A is not an easy task to sustain.

If the truth comes out, this Marionette will be lost.

The purpose of capturing this Marionette was to take advantage of the chaos and obtain two Beyonder Item through the Error Pathway. If the Marionette is lost along the way, it would be better to discard it and use its Marionette Beyonder Characteristic to forge Beyonder Item.

But now that things have come to this point, Kronos has no choice but to back down.

So Kronos had no choice but to get up and say to the servant, "Will you lead the way, or shall I go myself?"

The waiter apologized, "Excuse me, sir, I don't know which room it is."

"Alright, then you go ahead and get busy." Kronos didn't seem to care and walked away.

Kronos remembered where the room was, and not wanting to waste any more time, he went straight there.

Upon reaching the room door, Kronos skipped the knocking and simply pushed the door open and entered.

Mr. A was sitting in the room, looking at Kronos with a smile on his lips.

Kronos found a seat and asked, "What? Mr. A, have you found the Mysticologist's Potion Formula?"

Mr. A laughed and said, "If it were that simple, with your abilities, you should have gotten it long ago."

Kronos remained silent, neither agreeing nor disagreeing, waiting for Mr. A to get down to business.

Seeing that Kronos had no intention of engaging in further conversation, Mr. A felt rather helpless and had no choice but to say, "At our level, there's no need to attend those lower-level Trading Gathering, which is why I invited you here."

"Actually, I just wanted to have a private chat with you. It wouldn't be a bad thing for you, would it?"

That makes perfect sense. Even if the Church of Steam and Machinery Member, he wouldn't be so resistant. But it's the Aurora Order, there are just too many variables.

Kronos remained silent, so Mr. A had no choice but to continue, "I wonder if you have any Beyonder Item suitable for my use? I'd like to acquire one or two."

Only now did Kronos speak, "I can't sell you."

Mr. A was taken aback and quickly asked, "Why? Have I offended Your Excellency?"

"No, Mr. A has always been very friendly to me, but the Beyonder Item I can access are strictly controlled and numbered. Your Aurora Order has too many problems; I dare not trade with you, otherwise I will be exposed."

Actually, this was just a bluff. Unless it was Sealed Artifact of the church or Beyonder Item in the army, how could it be controlled so strictly? Kronos was just making up an excuse.

But upon hearing this, Mr. A became excited. He didn't think a church member would sit with him so calmly, so the person opposite him was likely Beyonder in the army, and one who seemed to hold a high position.

In a sense, this conjecture is correct.

Kronos is Navy Major, and there was a notice a few days ago that there will be Commissioning Ceremony soon, where he will be awarded the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. That's not a low rank, is it?

However, this is certainly different from Mr. A's guess.

However, Mr. A is still a bit arrogant. He recently reached an agreement with the Royal Family, and the person in charge of communication was Major General Qonas Kilgor of MI9.

Therefore, Mr. A unilaterally believes that their Aurora Order is qualified to cooperate with the military or something similar.

So he said, "It's alright. Even if it's Beyonder Item belonging to the military, we have the ability to suppress the matter."

The Aurora Order originally an evil god organization, Kronos made up this reason to scare him away, but he really didn't expect Mr. A to say something like that.

Looking at Mr. A's confident face, and recalling the Tudor Ruins he had once explored, Kronos suddenly understood: it was because he had become arrogant about the Alliance.

Kronos coldly uttered, "MI9 can't handle everything. Some things, once exposed, even the Royal Family can't suppress them, and you'll have to pay the price."

Mr. A was completely stunned. He hadn't expected that Kronos knew about such a big thing, even though MI9 had said it was the highest level of secrecy.

Seeing Mr. A's stunned expression, Kronos continued, "I know what you're planning, and I don't care. But the reason I'm unwilling to trade with you is precisely because of this—it's too conspicuous, and I don't want to share the consequences with you."

With Kronos having said all that, Mr. A had no more to say.

After thinking for a moment, he took out a box and placed it on the Table.

"This is the Flesh Whisper. It can be made by using the flesh and blood of Beyonder. As long as five pounds are collected, a Flesh Bomb can be crafted, which can achieve the power of the corresponding Sequence. However, each crafting requires half a pound of one's own flesh and blood as a sacrifice."

"I wanted to trade this with you, but you refused. So, do you have anything of equal value that you can trade with me?"

Kronos looked at the Flesh Whisper, and was actually quite tempted. It was a rare and Beyonder Item, and exchanging it for one of his own Beyonder Item would certainly be worthwhile. However, he had just made such a grand statement, and he didn't want to embarrass himself.

"It's so delicious!" may be late, but it will never be absent!

Kronos was filled with regret, but there was nothing he could do. He could only rack his brains to think of something he could exchange for without losing out.

Seeing that Kronos's gaze was fixed on the Flesh Whisper, Mr. A knew that he was very interested.

So Mr. A began by asking, "Do you have any information you can provide me?"

Kronos replied expressionlessly, "You're crazy, but I'm not."

In fact, Kronos would very much like to do so, but he was hampered by a lack of intelligence.

Kronos had little contact with the military, so he couldn't even make something up.

Seeing that Kronos couldn't agree on this point, Mr. A continued to probe, "What about the Potion Formula?"

Kronos hesitated for a moment, then said, "You're not worth it."

"Would you be willing to exchange Beyonder Item for Potion Formula?" Mr. A asked directly.

Kronos replied, "Acceptable, but you should at least add a Shepherd's Beyonder Item to this, otherwise it's not worth it."

Then Kronos added, "If the Shepherd's Beyonder Ability weren't truly remarkable, I wouldn't accept exchanging them for Beyonder Item."

This was said purely to inflate the price.

There aren't many Sequence 5 Beyonder Item in the Argel Family's Storeroom, so if Mr. A could actually produce two or three Sequence 5 Beyonder Item, Kronos wouldn't mind exchanging them with him.

However, this plan is clearly doomed to fail, because Mr. A doesn't really have any Beyonder Item, or rather, the Aurora Order as a whole is quite poor.

Ouroboros is clearly not a good leader when it comes to business, so the development of the Aurora Order is truly a mixed bag.

Throughout the entire Aurora Order, the only one to Endowment a point is probably the Saint of Secrets Botis.

However, his wealth Aurora Order; it all came from his Abraham Family.

So after Kronos said that, Mr. A immediately dropped the matter and never mentioned it again.

Kronos was speechless. This was Twenty-Two Divine Envoys of the Aurora Order, so fierce and causing trouble everywhere, yet he couldn't even produce Sequence 5 Beyonder Item.

As a result, the two of them fell into silence.

Mr. A couldn't think of anything else he needed, and Kronos couldn't think of anything he could give.

Actually, it's not that Kronos can't provide intelligence; it's just that what he can say are mostly prophetic information about the future, and that information can easily have a significant impact on future programs.

Kronos couldn't exactly tell them about the Descent Ritual in Tingen City, or the Backlund Great Smog Incident, or the untold story about him and Mushroom, could he?

It's hard to say for sure.

Now, Kronos just wanted Mr. A to persuade him again to exchange for Beyonder Item. Kronos promised that if Mr. A persuaded him even once, he would immediately agree without hesitation.

But Mr. A ultimately didn't mention it.

Kronos's words had frightened him. He feared that the military's Demigod were dissatisfied with their Alliance with the Demoness and the Royal Family, and that they might suddenly turn against him because of the deal, which would be a great loss.

Even if he manages to escape, all the foundation he has built in Backlund over the years will be destroyed.

If this further disrupts the cooperation between the three parties and interferes with the Descent Ritual of the True Creator, then his sins will be immense; he wouldn't be able to forgive himself, let alone others.
