Possibly Fors
So Kronos's plan completely failed, and the two remained in a stalemate, neither of them speaking.
Ten minutes later, Mr. A finally said, "Why don't you just pay for it?"
Mr. A was being rather humble; he actually wanted to use this Beyonder Item to improve his relationship with Kronos, but he also wanted to get himself a weapon.
However, the transaction was rejected time and time again, and in the end, they could only use Pound Sterling.
Kronos felt a pang of sympathy looking at Mr. A, so he said, "No problem, I'll give you the highest market price."
Then he added, "I know you want an Beyonder Item. Why don't you tell me your requirements, and I'll try to find a suitable one, erase its Record, and then sell it to you."
Upon hearing this, Mr. A was satisfied; at least it wasn't a deal that would leave him penniless.
So he quickly said, "I like Walking Stick, mainly to enhance combat power, preferably Warrior or Hunter Pathway, Sailor Pathway is out of the question."
Mr. A has many tricks up his sleeve; after all, he is a Shepherd who can Grazing seven souls, and he has a variety of methods at his disposal.
Kronos could guess why he didn't want the Tyrant Pathway. There were plenty of Beyonder with the Tyrant Pathway in the Loen Kingdom. If he wanted their abilities, he could just kill one and have them. Mr. A might even have Grazing right now.
However, the God of Combat Pathway and the Red Priest Pathway are not very common, and are not considered common Pathway in the Loen Kingdom.
The Argel Family possesses many Beyonder Item and Beyonder Characteristic of this Sequence thanks to their war with the Feysac Empire, during which they seized a considerable amount of loot, including Potion Formula, and were able to cultivate their own.
But in reality, the Loen Kingdom is mostly accessible through the Black Emperor Pathway and Justiciar Pathway.
Therefore, it's perfectly understandable that Mr. A wants an Beyonder Item with even greater offensive power.
Kronos frowned slightly. "These two Pathway rarely Walking Stick, so why not War Blade?"
Mr. A suddenly realized what was happening and began to fill in the blanks in his mind.
That's true. Nobody in the army uses Walking Stick as a weapon. The army's collection is mostly made up of Beyonder Weapons like swords and spears.
Kronos hadn't expected Mr. A to be so resourceful. The only reason he asked was that there wasn't any in the Storeroom.
But fearing it would put Mr. A in a difficult position, Kronos said, "I know of a type of War Blade that isn't very wide, with the scabbard embedded in Walking Stick. The Walking Stick would need to be a bit thicker, though. If you don't mind, I can have someone make one for you."
Mr. A had planned to accept only some Pound Sterling today, but unexpectedly, things took a turn for the better and he made such a big profit. How could he possibly have any complaints? Naturally, he immediately nodded in agreement.
Having agreed to the deal, Mr. A disagreed with Kronos's insistence on buying the Flesh Whisper at a high price, and in the end only accepted five thousand pounds.
This shows that Kronos was quite thoughtful; he brought the Marionette a anonymous checkbook, which is why he was able to pay her.
After the transaction was completed, the two had nothing more to discuss and decided to end the small "Trading Gathering."
The two people who were supposed to take over came out of the room. They were both going to return to the lobby anyway, so there was no need for them to separate.
After returning to the lobby, Mr. A went to his usual seat and sat down.
There were many rumors about Mr. A at the Trading Gathering, so his appearance silenced the entire Trading Gathering for a moment.
But seeing that Mr. A didn't make any move and simply sat back in his old seat, the noisy sounds resumed.
Kronos glanced casually at the trading board, but still found nothing of interest.
So after looking around, I finally returned to the same spot.
This spot is a bit far from the center, so no one has sat here yet.
After Kronos controlled the Marionette to sit down, his real body outside the Villa gasped for breath several times.
It really took a lot of Spirituality; I almost couldn't hold back.
Fortunately, he was able to sit down again, which gave Kronos a chance to meditate and recover properly.
After sitting down, Kronos only needed to move his eyes, so he naturally wanted to take this opportunity to rest properly. Otherwise, if he continued to move like this, Kronos couldn't guarantee that he would be able to control the Marionette to leave the Villa.
Just then, a person wearing Cloak walked into the Villa.
Actually, the Trading Gathering has already passed its opening time. If this were a smaller Trading Gathering, people like this wouldn't be allowed in.
However, Mr. A's case is special, as it doesn't involve similar confidentiality measures at all.
That's how this person was able to get in, muttering to himself as he walked, "I really didn't pay attention, I didn't expect to be late."
After arriving in the middle of the hall, the person looked around, clearly a novice who was visiting for the first time.
For beginners like this, Mr. A has specially arranged for a waiter to greet and explain things to them.
So, once they realized this person was a beginner, someone went over and began to explain things in detail.
After the professional explained it to him, the man wrote down a few words and handed them to the waiter.
These actions did not escape Kronos's notice, as he was the only person who had just entered the entire hall, naturally attracting his attention.
Not long after, another waiter wrote a line on the blackboard, "Seeking Sequence 8: The Trickmaster's Potion Formula."
This sentence gave Kronos a bit of a boost.
It's not easy to find Door Pathway.
At least in the original work, apart from those related to the Abraham Family, no other Beyonder Door Pathway ever seen.
It's easy to understand, considering that in the Fourth Epoch, the Abraham Family essentially monopolized the entire Door Pathway.
As a result, by the Fifth Epoch, the Door Pathway had major problems. When Mr. Door was only one step away from becoming a god, something went wrong. With his authority, he could basically affect all the Beyonder in the entire Pathway.
Therefore, this Pathway has become increasingly rare and obsolete.
Now that someone has appeared at an extraordinary gathering seeking to purchase Trickmaster recipe, it's possible that other unsuspecting Beyonder may have encountered similar situations with Apprentice Potion Formula.
However, Kronos still thought there was a high probability that this person was Miss Fors, the "Magician".
After Tarot Club, this Miss Magician was one of the slower learners of Potion, so it's normal that she hasn't fully mastered them even after more than a year as Apprentice.
Perhaps she has just become Beyonder because of the Beyonder Characteristic of Anlisa, the widow of the Abraham Family, and has therefore found a way to come to this gathering of Beyonder, wanting to learn more about the world of Beyonder.
Actually, Kronos had considered what to do if he encountered the main characters from the original work. Should he guide them and help them develop better?
But in the end, Kronos did not achieve a result that satisfied him.
He thought he might meet Miss Audrey first, since the two of them had some way of knowing each other, and maybe one day they would run into each other at the home of some nobleman.
But Kronos never expected that while he was engrossed in researching Skill Scroll, no one would invite him to any gatherings among the nobles.
But then he thought that Kronos was happy with that, so he didn't force himself into that circle.
Therefore, he would naturally never have had the opportunity to meet Miss Audrey.
But he really didn't expect to meet someone who resembled the Miss Magician under such circumstances.
Since he hadn't figured out how to approach these people, Kronos decided to give up and let things take their course.
Since you're unsure whether to guide the conversation or simply avoid contact altogether, then don't be proactive or reject it. While the theory might sound a bit like a jerk's approach, it's undeniably a sound one.
Just like him and Kask, their initial contact was driven by mutual ulterior motives. However, if fate allows, the two will naturally get to know each other and become friends. In that case, Kronos certainly wouldn't stand by and watch his friend suffer.
As for whether it will affect the subsequent procedures, we can only wait and see.
Kronos watched as the man, who resembled Fors, paced back and forth in the hall before finally finding a seat.
Having decided to let things take their course, Kronos made no further moves and remained seated, waiting for the day's Trading Gathering to conclude.
When I'm bored, I also observe other people.
Time passed quickly, and the gathering of Beyonder came to an end.
After Mr. A nodded to Kronos, he left the hall and went up to the second floor.
The Beyonder in the hall gradually left.
Once Kronos saw that most of the people had left, he slowly got up.
My Spirituality has been partially restored, so returning to my true self shouldn't be a problem.
So they walked step by step toward the Villa's door.
The waiters in the Villa all knew he was Mr. A's distinguished guest, so they all bowed to him.
But at this moment, Kronos had no interest in anything else and no extra Spirituality to do anything else; he simply nodded at them.
After countless efforts, Kronos finally reached the spot where he was sitting.
The real body reopened its eyes, its Consciousness returning from the Marionette to its own body.
This method of manipulation is incredibly difficult. Kronos believes that even a Marionettist would find it extremely strenuous, let alone someone like him who uses Beyonder Item.
It would be much easier to just give the Marionette proper instructions and make it obey them.
Although he didn't know the scale of the Fence Association, Kronos just felt fortunate that he hadn't actually gone to the Fence Association and used this method, otherwise he might have really collapsed Fence Association.
