At seven o'clock in the evening, the Inn staff knocked on Kronos's door precisely on time, as Kronos had requested.

After having dinner prepared by the Inn and resting for a while, Kronos left the Inn.

Having donned his Mask and Cloak, Kronos headed towards the Woods.

We arrived at 8:10.

The Woods were now completely different from what they had seen in the afternoon; they were filled with people wearing Cloak, each one of them completely covered up.

Some people were selling things, with piles of items on the ground in front of them, while others were browsing, looking at the things on the ground.

Kronos silently walked into the Woods, then felt a warmth in his chest. When he lifted his Cloak to look, he found that the Badge on his chest had melted.

Just as Kronos was dumbfounded, someone walked up to him.

The man, wearing a Mask covered in chaotic lines, said to Kronos, "You're a newcomer, aren't you?"

Kronos Consciousness that the Badge had probably given him away, so he didn't hide it and nodded frankly. "That's right, it's indeed my first time here."

"The person who introduced you here wasn't very responsible, so they didn't tell you the Rules," the man said.

"Your Badge needs to be verified. If you just come in like this, it will be destroyed."

Kronos had indeed never heard the Violent Bear mention this, but it seemed unfair to Violent Bear, since he was drunk when Kronos went to see Violent Bear that day, and the two hadn't seen each other since.

"Then I must ask, what should I do in my current situation?" Kronos asked politely.

"It's simple, I'll just give you a new one." With that, the man took out a new one and handed it to Kronos.

"You can consider me the organizer of this Fence Association. The reason we need to verify the Badge isn't necessarily to verify your identities, but mainly because of these Badge." As he spoke, the man pointed to Kronos's chest.

"It's actually a disposable product. Once activated, if it's not Endowment new energy in time, it will quickly dissolve. The verification Badge I mentioned is actually to Endowment it new energy so that it can last until the next use."

Kronos asked doubtfully, "What if I don't come next time? Does that mean I won't be able to come at all after that?"

The man chuckled. "You're mistaken. Receiving the Information doesn't mean you've used it. It means it's been guiding you here until you step inside. Only then has it been fully used. So, as long as you don't come here this time, it can continue to be used."

It's roughly about having a main body that can generate countless Avatar. These Avatar are distributed to participants, who then receive Information from the main body.

Once a participant brings their Avatar here, the Avatar's energy is absorbed by the main body and it will dissolve. Therefore, it is best to re -Endowment the clone with the main body beforehand.

This working principle is very similar to Amon's; I wonder if it was inspired by Amon.

"I'm sorry, sir, could you perhaps give me another Badge? I genuinely didn't know anything about these things."

"Of course, no problem. That's exactly why I came here." With that, the man extended his right hand and handed over a Badge.

From the moment Kronos arrived at the edge of this Woods, he had activated his Eyes of Mystery Prying.

Therefore, he could clearly see the Beyonder Ability at work in this person's hands.

Considering his role as the organizer of the Fence Association, it's highly likely that this Beyonder Ability is related to theft.

Kronos smiled slightly, moved his hand at his waist, and a Scroll appeared in his hand. Then he gently activated the power on the Scroll.

A small whirlwind appeared out of nowhere and landed directly in the man's hand.

At first, the person didn't notice, after all, it was nighttime and the sky was very dark, making it difficult to spot the colorless whirlwind.

When he felt it, he was startled and jerked his hand away.

The whirlwind lifted the Badge from his palm and slowly flew towards Kronos.

By the time the person realized what was happening and tried to grab the medal, it was too late; the medal was already within arm's reach of Kronos.

Kronos gently took the medal, then nodded to the man. "I'm sorry, I've offended you, but it's always better to be careful."

This person was indeed the organizer of the Fence Association. He had hosted many such Fence Association, and each time he would use this method to scam newcomers who were attending for the first time. He almost always succeeded and got his hands on quite a few good items.

Because few people know Pathway to recognize him, their vigilance against him is naturally not very strong.

But now, he was a little unsure about Kronos in front of him. He wasn't sure if Cronus had discovered something or was simply being cautious.

But regardless, he had already lost his chance to make a move, so all he could do was generously say, "It's alright, being careful is normal. I just hope you have a good outcome here."

Seeing the man turn and leave, Kronos chuckled to himself, thinking, "A Sequence 6 Fire Thief, if I were to encounter you alone outside, I'd definitely capture you and turn you into Beyonder Item."

But we really can't make a move here; it's completely their home turf.

So Kronos put away the Badge and went inside.

This environment is quite suitable for Kronos to perform well. With the dual scrutiny of the Eyes of Mystery Prying and the Eye of Time, there won't be anything he can't understand.

Throughout the forest, many people were buying things, some through the Error Pathway and some through the right ones.

However, most of the items he sold were Low Sequence products, Kronos didn't really value.

Kronos wasn't in a hurry, so he strolled leisurely through the woods, looking at the goods on the ground as he went.

Weapons meant for short-term use, Charm of low Sequence, and even some Beyonder Item were all Low Sequence, making Kronos shake his head in disbelief.

I inexplicably feel like I've wasted my time today. At this level, it's better to find some Beyonder of the same level to exchange resources; there's no point in attending these Beyonder gatherings anymore.

Just then, Kronos suddenly sensed someone appear beside him. Kronos quickly dodged to avoid being seen as a malicious person.

After stepping aside, Kronos looked closely and realized it was the same host he had encountered at the beginning.

The host chuckled and said, "You're too cautious. I meant no harm."

But Kronos remained silent. Did he not know whether this person harbored ill intentions or not? He had tried to give him his things in the first place; it would be strange if he showed up with Goodwill now.

Seeing that Kronos still seemed very wary, the man took a step back, then spread his hands and said, "I just noticed that your Sequence is quite high, so I wanted to invite you to join some Exchange Gathering composed of mid-to -High Sequence individuals. After all, you wouldn't look down on these things, would you?"

What he said was true, but Kronos's wariness of him did not diminish in the slightest. He simply controlled his body and pretended to be relaxed for him to see.

Seeing that Kronos seemed to have lowered his guard, the man said, "Come with me, it's inside."

After saying this, he walked deeper into the Woods. When he saw out of the corner of his eye that Kronos was following him, he smiled with satisfaction.

Little did he know, Kronos had also heard his laughter.

This behavior made Kronos feel even more uneasy, as if he had obtained something valuable. But in this situation, what could he have obtained? It could only be himself.

This made Kronos even more convinced that this might be a trap, so he secretly put his hand into the Mystic Pouch and began to slowly take things out.

He hung Beyonder Item on his body and stuffed as many Scroll as possible into his clothes.

While the Mystic Pouch is convenient, it's still just a matter of carrying it in a bundle. After all, there's still a process of reaching out and slowly searching, which is not as good as having it inside your clothes and being able to take it out and use it directly.

Kronos is still unsure of the exact specifications of the trap aimed at him, which is why he's taking the time to check it out.

The Hermits of Fate were founded to escape Amon, and the one leading the way is probably a member of the Hermits of Fate, but his way of doing things doesn't seem quite right.

Therefore, Kronos didn't think he could find a Demigod to ambush him, but if it was just one or two Sequence 5, he might actually give it a try. The losses wouldn't be significant, and he might even be able to generate some revenue.

The main problem is that escape is not easy. Who knows how much the Hermits of Fate has set up here? If I am labeled as a troublemaker, wouldn't that person have a legitimate reason to deal with me?

To Kronos's surprise, he was not led into a trap, but rather into an Exchange Gathering.

Judging from the location, this place is probably on the other side of this Woods.

There was a shed set up on the ground, and five or six people were sitting inside chatting.

Some of these people were wearing Mask, while others were not; they all seemed to know each other.

The host looked at Kronos with a mocking expression and said, "Well? Did you guess wrong? I really meant you no harm."

Kronos had already doubted his own judgment, but just as he said "no ill intent," Kronos Spirituality suddenly jolted, as if it were a reminder of something.

This is the benefit of having a high level of Spirituality; when something really happens, your Spirituality will provide a warning.

The Hermit Pathway is only considered slightly above average. If it were the Wheel of Fortune Pathway, Spirituality should have been constantly pulsating when deciding to come to this Fence Association; this is what they call guidance from Fate.
