It's a real shame, though, that Kronos never studied these things.

Honestly, an ordinary person wouldn't have such thoughts, let alone study Astrology.

However, Kronos did study something called the Zodiac Constellation.

What a coincidence! He was trying to woo a girl back then, and Constellation was quite popular, which is why he went to the trouble of learning about it.

Although, in Kronos's view, these Twelve Constellations are definitely not on the same level as the Huaxia Astrology.

But in today's world, this is a rare thing.

Kronos believed that even if the Twelve Constellations were lackluster, they would still greatly enhance his strength.

So Kronos began to observe carefully in order to find the Twelve Constellations.

Kronos had researched this information and the approximate locations of these Constellation.

It was mainly meant to impress girls when I was trying to woo them, but I never expected it to be used here.

Looking at the countless stars in the sky, Kronos still felt a bit of a headache.

Even with his Beyonder Ability, which allowed Kronos to remember the events of that year, finding these Constellation under a sky full of stars without any reference points was no easy task.

Most importantly, Kronos couldn't even tell where he was.

Kronos is currently in a state that is indeed perfect for stargazing, because without external interference, every star looks incredibly bright.

But precisely because of this, Kronos became disoriented in this state.

Each star is so bright that it's not easy to tell them apart.

Kronos is just a complete amateur who's done some research for a few days. Asking him to locate the Moon based on its position is really asking too much of him.

Kronos, who had been planning to show off his skills, was utterly disappointed.

If he were in a more grounded and practical state, Kronos might still be able to find him.

The approximate location of the Northern Continent is North America.

The Loen Kingdom is located almost exactly where the United States is.

With this foundation, Kronos was confident that he could find the approximate locations of these Constellation through a series of deductions.

But now there's really nothing I can do.

Gazing at the starry sky, Kronos wandered dejectedly through his space.

Now that we have such a good opportunity, we can't just leave empty-handed because we can't locate it.

So Kronos began to wander around.

Even if you can't find your known Constellation, look at other things.

Who knows, you might discover some new Constellation someday.

As Kronos spent more and more time wandering, his heart sank little by little.

No wonder there are so many records in the family of people who went mad or died after going through the Advancement Ritual.

Kronos could sense a great deal of chaotic and frenzied power in this space.

These powers probably belong to the Outer Deity.

After they discovered this space, they may have been trying to capture some vessels that Descent, so they laid countless "traps" within it.

When Kronos first encountered them, he was so scared that he didn't dare to move.

After encountering it so many times, he's gotten used to it.

He can sense these "traps," but the "traps" can't sense him, so he just needs to keep an eye on them and walk around them.

Kronos wasn't so reckless as to test whether he could withstand the strain.

The Concealment of Time helps Kronos hide himself, so these traps won't come knocking on his door.

But if he jumps into the trap himself, then no one can save him.

Looking at these traps, Kronos sighed. His Pathway was truly dangerous, with so many pitfalls.

Just as Kronos was still wandering freely, he suddenly felt a suction force that firmly pulled Kronos Consciousness in, rendering him completely immobile.

Kronos's first reaction was that he had fallen into a trap, Capture in a "trap" he hadn't noticed.

So he struggled frantically, trying to escape this state.

However, after a few seconds of stalemate, Kronos was successfully sucked away.

The next moment, Kronos's Consciousness returned to his body.

When Kronos woke up, he saw the starry sky above, and Marquis Argel and the Old Man beside him.

Kronos asked, "Is the time up? It feels like it hasn't been long at all."

The Old Man chuckled and said, "That's how it is for everyone. Everyone feels like it ended very quickly. Maybe it's just a difference in how we perceive time. How do you feel?"

Kronos didn't dare mention that he had broken free from the starlight and was wandering around. If he did, he wouldn't get any sleep that night; the two people in front of him would be cursing him all night long.

So he said, "I don't have any particular feeling, just a sense of regret that I wasn't able to communicate with any Astrology."

Marquis Argel laughed heartily, "Communicating with the Astrology is not so simple! Our family has existed for over a thousand years, and none of us have ever been able to communicate with the Astrology."

The Old Man added from the side, "That's right, Astrology phenomena are indeed very difficult to find. The starry sky is too dangerous, and only the True God can find their own Astrology in the sky."

The thing the Old Man was talking about is the mystical Constellation designed by the various True God based on their own representative stars.

In reality, it's nothing special; it's all pseudo- Constellation, mainly used to enrich knowledge of mysticism.

Even with this type of Constellation, it's one of the few methods available to Astronomer.

Perhaps out of consideration for Kronos's feelings, Marquis Argel said, "Actually, Astronomer are quite capable. With the ever-changing nature of Star Sand, the Basic Constellation as a supplementary means, and the many Beyonder Item in our family, your strength is not weak."

Kronos grinned. "Father, you're overthinking it. I'm not that fragile; I wouldn't do something so rash."

Seeing that Kronos was indeed in good spirits, Marquis Argel was finally relieved.

After all, he's still quite young. He accomplished in just over a year what most people might take decades to achieve. If someone like that suddenly loses their advantage, who knows if they might suddenly collapse and never recover?

However, in the eyes of the Marquis Argel, Kronos's mentality was actually quite good, and basically unchanged.

After such a long Advancement Ritual, it was already late at night.

There was no one else on the Manor, so the grandfather, his two grandsons, and their children rested in the Church.

Lying on the bed in the Church, Kronos cautiously explored the new abilities granted by the Time Stone.

The Time Stone didn't offer Kronos a new Pathway; it only granted him an ability after each ascension. This method was very secretive, so even in the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery, as long as one was careful, he wouldn't be discovered.

What Kronos sensed first was not a new skill, but an improvement in an old one.

This Concealment of Time has been significantly improved, not in terms of the duration, but in terms of the scope.

Previously, the Concealment of Time could only be fixed on Kronos himself, but now, if Kronos so desires, everything within a one-meter radius around him can be Time Concealment.

In other words, Kronos can now bring people under his protection, not just himself, but others who can also be protected from being observed, locked, or contaminated.

The observation time of the Eye of Time has been extended, and the skills of Time Reload and Time Curse remain unchanged, all of which were within Kronos's expectations. As for the new skills:

"Time Control: Within a radius of twenty meters, the flow of time is entirely under your control; you can accelerate, decelerate, or pause it."

When Kronos received this Information, he was shocked. Only at Sequence 5, and he'd already unleashed a divine skill?

But after carefully learning about this ability, Kronos's excitement subsided slightly.

It's still a divine skill; the ability to control the flow of time remains incredibly rare and highly sought-after, regardless of any nerfs.

However, some of the unconventional maneuvers in Kronos's mind are unlikely to come to fruition.

1. Kronos cannot apply different time flows to the same entity. For example, it's impossible to accelerate an opponent's head, slow down their body, and then remove their head.

2. The duration is extremely short; Kronos cannot maintain the flow of time for an extended period, only for one second at a time.

3. The consumption is extremely high. Applying only one effect is manageable, but applying two effects simultaneously is very costly. If three effects are applied at the same time, Kronos will be completely drained of his Spirituality.

Despite the numerous limitations, the enhancement to Kronos himself is still obvious.

It's possible that the Astronomer's abilities were indeed not very strong, and even the Time Stone couldn't stand it anymore, so they added such a powerful divine skill to Kronos.

Judging from this skill alone, Kronos is already eagerly anticipating the skills he will acquire after becoming Demigod.

Regardless of the Pathway, there will be a huge enhancement when one becomes Demigod, and Kronos believes that the Time Stone should also be the same.

The next day, the Marquis Argel left and returned to Constant City. The family's plans had only just begun, and he had many things to do; he couldn't stay away from headquarters for too long.

However, Kronos did not leave with them, but remained in the ancestral home.

The Old Man has been promoted to Sequence 5 for many years, so he is naturally the best choice to teach Kronos.

The Argel Family's secret manuals offer a particularly comprehensive analysis of Warlock, but the Scroll Professor are somewhat lacking, and the Astronomer are far less so.

So after hearing the Old Man's and Marquis Argel's evaluations, Kronos finally felt at ease and picked up the Family Secret Manual.

The most important part of this secret book of Astronomer is the record of things related to the Basic Constellation.

The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn in the Solar System have all been designated as corresponding celestial bodies by the various True God.

The Sun represents the Eternal Blazing Sun, the Moon represents the Evernight Goddess, Blue Star Red Star (Mercury) represents the God of Knowledge and Wisdom, the red star (Mars) represents the God of Combat, Venus represents the God of Steam and Machinery, the Brown Star (Saturn) represents the Earth Mother, and the Orange Star (Jupiter) represents the Lord of Storms.

Therefore, the Constellation designated by the True God Churches with these celestial bodies as the center are the Constellation represented by these True God.

Although it makes no sense, it is the basis of Astrology in this world because it is propagated by the True God Churches.

Based on these Basic Constellation, other constellations have been derived, such as the Cultivation Constellation, the Expectation Constellation, the Volcano Constellation, and the Blizzard Constellation.

Perhaps due to the incompleteness of these Constellation settings, Astronomer do not have much power when communicating with these Constellation; in fact, it is mostly an auxiliary function.

Even so, Kronos continued to study with great enthusiasm.

These are, in a way, Astrology Astrology. Memorizing them might help you locate the Constellation you're familiar with.

Besides the Constellation charts, the Family Secret Manual also Record some Spell unique to Astronomer, mostly methods of using Star Sand, such as dissolving opponents with Star Sand, constructing physical entities with Star Sand, and Starlight Cage.

These skills were also used by Cattleya in the original work, so Kronos found them somewhat familiar.

Besides studying the Family Secret Manual, Kronos was also learning something from the Old Man: how to inscribe skills on Star Sand.

Although Kronos has a high level of understanding of skills, inscribing them on Star Sand is completely different from writing them on Scroll.

Even if Scroll is very flexible, it is still a physical object, while Star Sand is in a fluid state.

If it weren't for the fact that Star Sand is essentially sand and can withstand the skill of carving, this operation would not have been possible.

Although Kronos failed repeatedly at first, he gradually got the hang of it.

After Kronos was able to inscribe multiple skills on his own Star Sand, he discovered the difference between the skill Chaos and the other skills.

Perhaps because the chaos originated from him, his understanding of this skill far surpasses that of the others, making it much simpler for Kronos to depict this skill.

Because this ability is not something that Astronomer inherently possess, but rather something that their predecessors gradually researched and developed, it is naturally extremely troublesome to use.

To portray a basic skill, even someone with good talent will need at least an hour, and less proficient skills may require several hours.

Kronos is considered quite talented; his other skills take about an hour or so to complete, but he can finish the Kronos skill in under half an hour.

This is indeed a qualitative leap, but unfortunately, half an hour is not a short time, and it's basically impossible to depict the battle a second time.

During their stay at the ancestral home, every night, the Old Man would take Kronos to stand under the starry sky and point out the Astrology charts in the secret manual to Kronos one by one, teaching him how to communicate with the Astrology in the sky as he pointed.

Kronos's learning ability is quite remarkable. Under the Old Man's tutelage, he mastered all the abilities of Astronomer in just one month.

Although Kronos did not achieve any innovation during this period, the Hermit Pathway is inherently a Pathway of knowledge, and through learning, Kronos still absorbed some of the Potion.

After mastering all the Old Man's knowledge, Kronos was about to leave. He would be leaving the ancestral home tomorrow, and it was also time to put the matter of leaving the Northern Continent and setting sail on the sea into the future on the agenda.

The night before he left, perhaps because he was feeling a little sad, the Old Man didn't come to see Kronos.

Kronos then lay down in his usual spot for stargazing and looked up at the night sky.

In the days before light pollution, a clear starry sky was undoubtedly one of nature's most beautiful sights.

As he stared blankly at the starry sky, Kronos suddenly felt a star flash in his field of vision.

For some reason, this star directly attracted Kronos's attention, so his gaze turned towards it. When he saw a certain spot, Kronos paused for a moment, then became excited.

He never expected that his first Constellation would be discovered so quickly.

No, to be precise, it was the Constellation itself that attracted Kronos.

He had originally thought his first Constellation would be one of the Twelve Zodiac Signs.

However, with the roots of Huaxia deeply embedded in their hearts, this Constellation belonging to Huaxia naturally came to them.

What Kronos saw was the most prominent and famous one in the night sky;

In mythology, they are the creators of the Order heaven and earth, with spring, summer, autumn, and winter following them;

The seven stars— Dubhe, Merak, Megrez Phecda, Tian Quan, Alioth, Mizar Alkaid —form a dipper for scooping wine.

The Constellation is named "The Big Dipper".
