Setting out again
The Big Dipper is a household name in Huaxia. Not to mention adults, even children who haven't received much education know about its existence.
However, Kronos had been so focused on finding the Twelve Zodiac Signs that he overlooked this most prominent one.
As a result, after completely relaxing today, he was involuntarily drawn to the Big Dipper.
Looking at the seven bright stars in the sky, Kronos was overjoyed. Although he did not have the ability to find those particularly high-level Huaxia Astrology, having the Big Dipper meant that he would not only remember the Western Astrology.
Using the Big Dipper, Kronos quickly located Polaris.
This star is no ordinary star; Polaris is also known as the North Star or the Purple Forbidden Star. Unfortunately, Kronos could find the Purple Forbidden Star, but he could not depict the Purple Forbidden Enclosure.
The Purple Forbidden Enclosure refers to the celestial region surrounding the North Celestial Pole, encompassing thirty-seven constellations. It cannot be deduced simply by finding a single star.
But even the Big Dipper was enough to delight Kronos.
Kronos looked around and, finding no one nearby, built Wall of Spirituality around himself.
Communicating with the Astrology is a very meticulous and rigorous task that cannot be taken lightly, so it is essential to prepare in advance.
Kronos is currently in his own Manor, so this Wall of Spirituality is not meant as a warning, but rather to remind passersby not to disturb him rashly.
After doing all this, Kronos raised his head and gazed at the Astrology in the sky.
He extended his right hand, and a ball of slowly rotating Star Sand rapidly formed in his palm.
Star Sand climbed slowly upwards along Kronos's right hand until it reached his head, and then entered Kronos's eyes.
At this moment, Kronos had activated his Eyes of Mystery Prying at full power, frantically Analysis the Big Dipper in the night sky.
This is the unique ability of Astronomer: to communicate with the Astrology.
Through the Eyes of Mystery Prying at Sequence 5, Analysis the Astrology they observe, understand and master the knowledge contained within, and finally communicate with them using Star Sand.
Having left a channel for communication, one can easily draw upon the Astrology Power for one's own use in the future.
The "knowledge" and "power" of these Astrology actually come from mysterious legends.
Once an Astronomer discovers a logically consistent Astrology, they must share this Astrology and the story behind it with others so that more people can believe it.
Once everyone believed it, this Astrology naturally came to possess "knowledge" and "power."
The more people know about Astrology legends, or the older the legends are, the more powerful the Astrology is considered.
In this instance, Kronos truly gained a significant advantage.
The legend of the Big Dipper dates back to Prehistoric Epoch, at least tens of thousands of years ago.
There are probably not many people who know about the Big Dipper in this day and age, but there are still some in the Sefirah Castle.
Amanises, the Evernight Goddess, may have been European and perhaps not familiar with the complexities of Huaxia Astrology, but she likely knew about the existence of the Big Dipper.
With these foundations, the Big Dipper Astrology not reach its peak state, but it is still more than capable of demonstrating its power.
Kronos's Spirituality energy was rapidly depleting, Eyes of Mystery Prying quickly Analysis and communicated with the Big Dipper in the sky, while the Star Sand in his eye was always ready to draw upon the power of the Astrology.
That's why the Astronomer Sequence is considered dangerous. After this level of Eyes of Mystery Prying was strengthened once again, it can see even more secrets, but it cannot be turned off on its own.
Staring at the starry sky so recklessly, if it weren't for the Time Stone protecting him, Kronos would be lucky to survive for even Three Minutes.
The whole event lasted for more than half an hour. Just when Kronos's Spirituality energy was depleted by more than two-thirds, the Star Sand in his eyes suddenly communicated with the Big Dipper.
Star Sand gushed from his eyes, spinning rapidly in front of Kronos.
Less than two seconds after it spun, a pale blue light shot down from the sky and landed directly on the Star Sand.
The Star Sand quickly gathered into seven points, corresponding to the constellations Dubhe, Merak, Phecda, Megrez, Alioth, Mizar, and Alkaid.
Then the seven stars emitted light, connected together, and formed a sword that hovered in front of Kronos.
Looking at the sword, Kronos exclaimed, "Damn, that's awesome!"
Kronos had always studied swordsmanship, the kind with wide, sweeping movements. Mainly because the swords in this world were mostly Western in style, which he didn't particularly like, but he really liked the style of the War Blade.
However, the Big Dipper Sword floating in front of me is a genuine ancient Huaxia sword, an incredibly cool eight-sided Han sword.
Without hesitation, Kronos reached out and took the sword from in front of him.
The moment he grasped it, Kronos felt his power surge, with buffs like strength, attack, and armor penetration instantly maxed out.
In his current state, he would dare to stab even a Demigod standing in front of him.
This is the method of Astronomer: using the Astrology Power to enhance their own power.
Kronos brandished his sword. He was certain that the sword didn't have any special abilities; it was simply there to buff him.
With this sword, and the ability to control the flow of time he had just gained, Kronos was confident that even if he encountered a Guardian (Warrior Pathway Sequence 5), he would not be at a disadvantage in close combat for a short time.
With this example in mind, Kronos became even more eager to observe other Astrology.
The gains didn't stop there; there was also the digestion of the Potion. By using his stargazing ability to discover and communicate with the Astrology, the Potion naturally began to be digested rapidly.
Digestion continued rapidly until Kronos removed the Wall of Spirituality.
Because of the concealment of the Wall of Spirituality, no one in the Manor knew that Kronos had done such a great thing, nor did he intend to tell anyone.
It wasn't that he was reluctant to part with his Big Dipper; the main problem was that even if he told his father and Grandfather about it, neither of them could complete the task.
Astronomer have been severely weakened, not because they can't find the Astrology, but simply because they can't go and observe them.
The Concealment of Time has been enhanced; if he were willing to embrace his father or Grandfather and use the Concealment of Time to protect them, he could lend them a helping hand.
However, Kronos had calculated that Kronos Spirituality could only sustain a range of one meter for no more than twenty minutes, which was simply not enough.
Thinking about it that way, I'll wait and see until I'm truly capable of helping them.
The next morning, after saying goodbye to the Old Man, Kronos returned to Conston City.
After enjoying another week with family in Conston City, he quietly left his home alone one night.
Kronos didn't want to experience a scene of parting, whether it was his mother or his Younger Sister; he couldn't bear to see either of them cry.
However, he was unaware that after he left, the Marquis Argel and his wife appeared together in his room.
"Can't we just let him live a peaceful life?" the Marquise asked, her eyes filled with tears.
The Marquis Argel replied, "It was his own choice, and he has the potential; we shouldn't hinder his life."
"Did he bring enough stuff? Hopefully he didn't forget anything crucial while hiding from us."
Marquis Argel thought for a moment, then said, "Probably not. He's always had permission to use the Storeroom, and he's been there quite a bit these past few days. He shouldn't have missed anything."
That's true. After Kronos advanced, he could no longer use the Mystic Pouch, so he got a rather large backpack and packed a whole bag of things in it.
Although space constraints prevented him from being completely foolproof, he made sure to take all the good stuff.
The Marquise didn't say anything more, but simply wiped away her tears, then turned and left.
Marquis Argel looked in the direction Kronos had left and sighed.
It's said that a mother worries when her son travels a thousand miles, but doesn't the father worry too?
Moreover, the Marquis Argel was far more aware of the dangers outside than the Marquise.
But since his son had already made his choice, as his father, the Marquis Argel would only offer his unconditional support.
He also hopes that one day his son will be able to achieve his dreams and reach the pinnacle of success.
The station was already closed by then. There certainly weren't that many Steam Train in that era, so it was impossible for a train to run at all times.
Therefore, Kronos chose freight trains instead of passenger trains.
Hitch a ride on a freight train from the freight station in Constant City directly to Limon; you'll arrive before dawn, and from Pritz Harbor Limon.
Such a itinerary can reduce many unnecessary transfers.
Otherwise, you'd have to transfer in Limon, then in Tingen, and then in Backlund you'd have to take a horse-drawn carriage to get to Pritz Harbor.
Although waterways are a bit slower than Steam Train, they can reach the Pritz Harbor directly, saving a considerable amount of transfer time.
This route had been arranged by Kronos in advance, so no one stopped him, and Kronos smoothly boarded the freight train.
Fortunately, the train Kronos chose was for storing finished steel, not coal; otherwise, he would have been covered in soot after the bumpy ride.
The distance between Constant City and Limon isn't far, so we arrived before dawn.
In order not to miss the first passenger ship of the day, Kronos went straight to the Harbor from the cargo station without even having a bite to eat.
The Tussock River originates in the Mirminsk Mountain Range, formed by melting snow from the mountain peaks and spring water.
The main source isn't actually in Limon, but Limon is located at the tail end of the Mirminsk Mountain Range, so there's a branch road there as well.
This is considered a relatively important Harbor on the Tussock River, with cargo ships and passenger ships constantly passing through every day.
Kronos arrived at the Harbor just in time and bought a first-class ticket for the first passenger ship of the day.
The entire route runs from Limon to Pritz Harbor, with stops in Tingen and Backlund along the way.
However, Kronos chose the waterway because he had no interest in visiting those two places.
Therefore, Kronos's goal was to reach the Pritz Harbor and then set sail.
At this moment, Kronos was preoccupied with the drop of blood on Damir Island.
Since Will Onsetin was unwilling to give him blood, and even said that he could not obtain the blood of the Wheel of Fortune Pathway, then Kronos did not need to dwell on this matter.
Analysis the blood of the Angel in the Wheel of Fortune Pathway can be helpful for advancing to the Sequence 3 of Clairvoyant.
But since we can't get it, naturally we should choose the highest possible blood Sequence.
The drop of blood from Greygardy, the progenitor of the phoenix, on Damir Island was undoubtedly the best choice.
With Gregrace's power over the Death Pathway and the Door Pathway, Kronos's strength will reach an even higher level.
Therefore, the first destination of this voyage was Damir Island. Kronos wanted to try and see if he could obtain that drop of blood from the Spirit World with his current abilities.
The next goals are nothing more than the trials and rewards in the Above the Ghost Empire, and the Potion Formula from the Mysticologist.
With the mark of the Ghost Empire on his body, it would be very easy for Kronos to reclaim his throne from the Ghost Empire.
Previously, even Low Sequence levels rewarded Kronos with a Marionette Illustrated Compendium.
He didn't even dare to imagine what he would get if he passed the Mid-Sequence level. Could it be Demigod- level Sealed Artifact? That would be a huge windfall.
The Argel Family also possesses three Demigod- level Sealed Artifact: one each in the hands of the Old Man and Marquis Argel, and the last one is kept in the Storeroom.
If Kronos wanted to take one of the items, the two elders would likely not refuse.
However, after learning about them, Kronos felt that none of the three Sealed Artifact were suitable for him, so he did not make that choice.
However, if the Ghost Empire could reward him with something, he would absolutely not refuse; who wouldn't want something given away for free?
Then Kronos also planned to make his way with several Pirate General, preferably during his prime, so that he could become famous Five Seas and become a big shot on the ocean.
So far, this is all the things Kronos can think of to do. As for the rest, he'll deal with them as they come to him.
The boats on the river are smaller than those at sea, so the ride is a bit bumpy. Fortunately, Kronos doesn't get carsick, so the journey was uneventful.
During both stops, Kronos did not disembark; instead, he simply stood by the ship, looked around, and that was it.
It wasn't until they reached the Pritz Harbor that Kronos disembarked with his luggage.
He arrived in the afternoon, and tickets for the next day's ferry were already on sale, so he simply bought a first-class ticket.
The ship's itinerary is basically the same as Kronos's last voyage, except that it will pass through the Bansy Harbor.
But Kronos didn't care much, because it was hard to say whether he would even live to see that day.
The matter on Damir Island is clearly more important, Kronos certainly won't go there without any preparation, just like last time.
Therefore, if the event is delayed on Damir Island, then the rest of the itinerary will naturally be delayed as well.
After all, this time Kronos was operating a passenger ship, not one of its own cargo ships.
That's fine too. Kronos doesn't necessarily have to go to Bayam, so avoiding Bansy Harbor is a good thing.
The ferry is on the second day, so Kronos should naturally stay in Pritz Harbor today.
After settling into an inn, Kronos went out to inquire about Message from the sea.
Since his last return from the sea, Kronos has been away from the sea for more than half a year, so he still needs to update the Message from the sea.
The best place to gather Message is naturally the small Bar by the Harbor. They're a melting pot of all sorts of people, and you can hear a lot of Message sitting there for a while, though its accuracy is questionable.
Kronos disliked this environment, so he used to delegate this kind of work to Gner, but now that he was alone and no one could do it for him, he had to take it upon himself to do it.
Kronos casually asked a few passersby and soon found out which restaurant was the most popular at the Harbor.
When gathering Message, you should naturally choose the place with the most people.
Kronos walked into the small Bar. It was only four in the afternoon, and there were already more than thirty burly men drinking and bragging inside.
These people's physique and demeanor clearly indicate that they Sailor who spend most of their time at sea, making them a very good source of Message.
Kronos ordered a beer and sat down in a corner.
Kronos was dressed in the style of a sea adventurer, so he didn't stand out in the Bar. However, he preferred to listen from the sidelines rather than, like Gner, blend into the crowd and guide the conversation.
