The Sanguine
Toscarter Island appears in the original work and is arguably the easternmost island in the Loen Kingdom. It is extremely chaotic and is a haven for adventurers and Pirate.
However, this is now the territory of the Loen Kingdom, Kronos has nothing on him except for an Identity Document in the Mystic Pouch.
This Identity Document can indeed be used to withdraw some money from the bank, but Nas is, after all, from the Feysac Empire, and the two countries are still at war. He might be mistaken for a spy.
If they are detained by the Feysac Empire, given the past grievances between the Argel Family and the Feysac Empire, they will have absolutely no hope of escaping.
That's why Kronos chose Toscarter Island.
However, Toscarter Island is not without its dangers; there may very well be a Demigod living there.
The Psychology Alchemists likely had a key base on Toscarter Island and had dispatched a Demigod "Manipulator" of Spectator Pathway Sequence 4 to guard it.
This Demigod influenced some Pirate, causing them to Consciousness do things for him. Years later, after Gehrman Sparrow and Anderson Hood finished their voyage on the "Future" and arrived at Toscarter Island, these Pirate unfortunately became the "patrons" of the penniless Anderson Hood.
So, the next morning, passersby in the Inn restaurant were given a suggestion, or perhaps subjected to some form of Mind Stone manipulation, and were suddenly and Order attacked Anderson. The incident ended with Anderson agreeing to do a task for the Demigod.
So we still need to be careful. Fortunately, the Identity Document on Kronos's body wasn't just Kronos Argel's, but also Carlson Norman's. Moreover, Kronos had once deposited a sum of money in Carlson Norman's name.
If this Demigod of the Psychology Alchemists were to learn that the heir of the Argel Family had come to Carter alone, he would certainly not let go of such an opportunity to control the Argel Family.
Now that Kronos had made his decision, the voice said nothing more, and instead sent him out of the Pyramid-shaped Tomb and directly to the bow of the ship.
On the bow of the ship, the Skeleton General in armor was still there.
Kronos looked at the general's armor, then at his own; indeed, it was far inferior.
After putting on the armor, Kronos learned about its basic Information.
This armor was once reserved for the most elite Night Emperor Guard of the Trunsoest Empire. It wasn't exactly Beyonder Item, but it was indeed crafted using many precious materials, and its only strength was its durability.
Kronos is currently wearing the most basic Soldier Armor; above that, there are General Armor and Marshal Armor.
The Low Sequence soldiers are the common soldiers. If Kronos comes again, he might face a Mid-Sequence general. The one at the bow of the ship is wearing the Marshal Armor, which corresponds to Demigod.
Rumors circulated that Trunsoest had once considered continuing to forge King Armor and Emperor Armor, but the defensive capabilities of a single Marshal Armor were already close to Sequence 3. The cost of forging higher-tier armor using only material advantages and forging technology was too high; it would be more efficient to forge a few high-tier Beyonder Item.
Looking at the armor in front of him, which had reached the Sequence 3 defense, Kronos almost shed tears of envy.
But the Skeleton General didn't give him any more chance to be envious; he drew his sword and planted it in a stone pier at the bow of the ship.
Blue light flickered on the stone pier, then a beam of blue light fell on Kronos, and Kronos immediately disappeared from the spot.
When Kronos opened his eyes again, he was already in Carter.
Fortunately, it was still daytime, so there were still many things that could be done. If it were nighttime, I would have to find a place to stay by myself.
Kronos quickly found a bank, submitted his own Carlson Norman Identity Document, and withdrew five hundred pounds in cash.
It feels really good to have money in your hands; at least you don't have to worry about whether you'll need to sleep under a bridge tonight.
The first thing Kronos did was buy a few sets of casual clothes, and then he found a decent Inn to stay in.
After spending so many days in the sea, you simply can't imagine what Kronos smelled like.
After taking a nice bath, Kronos changed into new clothes and comfortably leaned back on the sofa.
Kronos was initially thinking to himself how wonderful it was to be rich.
The Messenger Lady suddenly appeared before Kronos, startling him.
"Lady, is there a letter for me?" After recognizing the person who appeared, Kronos asked politely.
But unexpectedly, the Lady Messenger shook her head.
"Ah? So what is the purpose of your visit?" Ever since Kronos signed the contract with the Messenger, the two had only communicated by sending and receiving letters, and had not had any other interactions.
The Lady Messenger n't say anything, but simply pointed to the Token on the Table next to the armor.
"You want this Token?" The obvious hint made Kronos understand immediately.
"Trade..." The Messenger Lady uttered those two words for the first time ever.
Kronos looked at the Token, then cautiously asked, "Can you tell me what this Token is for?"
"It... allows... outsiders... to... obtain... the... right... to... board... the... ship," the Messenger Lady replied, enunciating each word clearly.
"Won't that have some impact on me?" Kronos pressed for an answer.
Lady Messenger shook her head and said, "No... no."
Kronos thought for a moment, then said, "I can trade with you, but I'd like to know what you can give me."
Upon hearing this, the Messenger Lady said, "You... wait... a... moment," and then returned directly to the Spirit World.
Kronos was quite eager to see what the Messenger Lady, someone of her stature, could offer.
East Chester County, Amanda Mountains
This place can be called the safest deep forest in the entire Northern Continent, because the Divine Kingdom of the Evernight Goddess — the Darkened Heaven— is located here.
Most people know that the Amanda Mountains are the roots of the Church of the Evernight Goddess.
However, few people know that the Sanguine, a race that has been active on this continent since the Dark Epoch, also hide in these mountains.
At the beginning of the Dark Epoch, various extraordinary races successively developed sentience, and Ancient God appeared one after another. The Ancient God of the Sanguine was Lilith, the "progenitor of the Sanguine".
Lilith, the progenitor of the Sanguine and one of the eight Ancient God, was active and formed a humanoid faction with the Giant King and the Elf King. Originally, she was the one who retained the most rationality among the eight Ancient God and had the most normal appearance, and was known as the embodiment of beauty.
However, as time passed, the Oldest One barrier weakened and was severely affected by the Mother Goddess of Depravity. At the end of the early days of the Fire, due to a betrayal, he killed Flegrea, the King of Wolves Ancient God Wolves, and Kvastir, the King of Miscellaneous Creatures, through self-destruction.
After the death of the progenitor Lilith, the leader of the Sanguine became the Goddess of Beauty, Olnia, who had advanced to Sequence One. She could hardly support the entire Sanguine on her own, so she was forced to seek refuge with the "Elf King" Soniathrym.
In the later Era of the Gods, the Goddess of Beauty Olnia, became the queen of the Night Emperor, Trunsoest — the Blood Moon Queen —and united the Sanguine, becoming an important supporter of the Trunsoest Empire and a symbol of beauty in that era.
The two were brought together by Political Marriage, but many survivors of that era say they were very much in love.
During the War of the Four Emperors, the Black Emperor died, the Blood Emperor died, the Night Emperor died, and the Goddess of Beauty also died. After the Pale Catastrophe that followed, although the Sanguine had Angel, they had been living a life of hiding and running away.
Until one day, the Church of Evernight came to them and made Peace Treaty with the Sanguine. The Evernight Goddess agreed to protect the Sanguine to a certain extent, so the Sanguine moved their settlement to the Amanda Mountains.
This led to the subsequent influx of Sanguine into Backlund.
The Sanguine themselves don't know why the Evernight Goddess would be willing to protect them, but those who know the story will understand.
During the Dark Epoch, Lilith self-destructed, killing Flegrea, the King of Wolves, and Kvastir, the King of Miscellaneous Creatures. However, Lilith did not die; instead, she survived with the help of the Evernight Goddess (then the Goddess of Misfortune) and the Ancient Sun God.
Later, Lilith stole the Fate of Omebella, the Goddess of Harvest, and became the Earth Mother, continuing her activities in the name of Omebella.
Therefore, Lilith and the Evernight Goddess were natural allies. Later, she even helped the Evernight Goddess outwit the God of Combat, thereby gaining the Uniqueness of the Moon.
Therefore, it makes perfect sense that the Church of Evernight would protect Sanguine.
Returning to the Sanguine Settlement in the Amanda Mountains, there are currently three Duke among the Sanguine, all of whom are Sequence Two Life-Giver, two of whom are currently slumbering in the Amanda Mountains.
They were living quiet lives when suddenly a large bell in the center of the settlement rang.
This large bell is an Beyonder Item; its sole purpose is to issue a warning when a powerful figure approaches.
After the bell rang, the entire settlement came alive. Because the Sanguine is an extraordinary race with a long lifespan, Sanguine days in slumber after reaching a certain age.
The alarm from the large bell immediately awakened all the Sanguine in the settlement, including the two Duke who were also asleep.
The ability to deal with danger was an essential skill for Sanguine who survived that chaotic era, and because of their long lifespans, those Sanguine who survived that era have lived to this day.
Therefore, each Sanguine member performed their duties, donned their combat gear, and formed a battle formation, standing behind the two Grand Duke, awaiting the appearance of the enemy.
