Krono advanced as a Beyonder while building the Argel Family’s business interests and assembling allies. After confronting danger at a boxing bar and investigating the Black Skull Gang, he left the gang under watch and prepared to face its enforcer Booze.
Kronos advanced to Sequence 7, confronted his family’s constraints, and sailed with Gner to investigate the Spirit World and the islands. After a supernatural encounter revealed how vulnerable he was, Kronos sent Gner back to the harbor and continued alone.
Kronos investigated a supernatural illness in Saint Luo Village, then traveled to Bayam, where he built alliances, acquired Beyonder items, and joined Amyrius’s expedition to hidden ruins. The expedition uncovered a secret linked to Tudor and the Augustus family, while Kronos adopted a false identity and received a Spirit Harmonica from Sharf.
Kronos traveled through the Southern Continent, survived the attack on Paz Valley, and entered the Ghost Empire, where he completed its first trial. After returning to Bayam, he refined his spells and joined the Sonia Fleet’s operation against Vice Admiral Iron Blood, choosing Yodsen as his opponent.
Kronos returned to Backlund, advanced as a Scroll Professor, and built a research network while pursuing Beyonder resources and political allies. The Church of Steam and Machinery tried to take control of his Research Center, so Kronos and Professor Portland prepared to draw in rival churches to counterbalance it.
Kronos helped block the Church of Steam and Machinery from gaining control of the Research Center, while balancing the royal family and competing churches. He advanced his scroll-making, recruited an Artisan, arranged the Argel Family’s move toward Midseashire, and ended by preparing to settle the churches’ room dispute with lots and Decree scrolls.
Kronos investigated Jason’s hidden escape routes, developed his scrolls, and kept the Argel Family out of the royal family’s sight. At a White Cliff Town exchange, he acquired valuable Beyonder items and fought off a group of robbers, then learned that James Rhodes had joined the Error Pathway before his prisoner died while describing an Angel in the Hermits of Fate.
Kronos killed Jason, secured Kain Bank’s shares for the Argel Family, and completed his work on Chaos Scrolls before leaving Backlund for Midseashire. After advancing to Sequence 5 Astronomer and discovering a way to strengthen himself through the Big Dipper, he sailed out to sea and found that Gregrace’s blood had entered a pale mask.
Kronos pursued the Mysticologist formula, faced a Feysac ambush alongside Cattleya, and then joined Hal’s Iron Anchor under a false identity. The ship descended beneath the sea as Kronos grew increasingly suspicious of Hal and the crew.
Kronos stopped Hal from releasing the sealed Sea Monster, advanced to Sequence 4, and joined the Church of Evernight while becoming involved in the plots around Duke Negan and the True Creator. After Klein fell in Tingen, Kronos sought the Red Priest Card beneath Williams Street and confronted the Red Angel evil spirit.
Kronos contained the corruption threatening the Sanguine Dukes, hunted down the Devil Dog, and helped Roel rescue Fan Aistin while battling General Adri and a Misfortune Mage. He pursued the Clairvoyant formula through Cattleya and Nast, traded Nast the Duke of Entropy formula, and ended with a plan to visit the Church of Serenity’s Cathedral.
Kronos gathered Alista Tudor’s hidden parchment pieces, defeated Horamick, and took his place as the Church of Steam and Machinery’s archbishop. He then stopped the Demoness Sect’s plan to spread a plague through Backlund and used the aftermath to expand the Church’s influence.
Kronos defeated Agalito and a sea monster, helped Nast found the Pirate Duchy, and secured the Naga’s allegiance while advancing Hal. After the Dice of Probability drew him to Klein, Kronos returned home and began preparing his family for the coming war.
Kronos advanced his family and Church plans while rescuing Old Man and completing a dangerous mission against the Moses Ascetic Order. After helping Klein destroy the All-Black Eye, he turned to politics, but Bernadette's pursuit of Nosk forced him to abandon the Flying and leave Nosk to face the danger.
Kronos helped Klein escape Suah, uncovered Jacob’s treasure, and obtained a Trojan Horse of Destiny characteristic before aiding Flora’s dangerous advancement. He received the Tyrant Card and ended the stretch investigating a breach of Saint Samuel Cathedral’s Chanis Gate, while trusting Klein to stay hidden.
Kronos won a deadly duel, advanced to an Angel, and returned to Backlund to teach while building ties with Amanises. He then helped Azik reclaim the corrupted half of his soul and take control of the Numinous Episcopate, leaving Azik to digest his reunited soul.
Kronos rose to angelhood, took charge of the Enlightenment Monastery, and uncovered the Hidden Sage’s origins while forging a powerful new artifact. As war began, he intervened in the Sonia Sea conflict and killed Gluttony, then offered Gluttony’s Beyonder characteristic to Audrey as Klein prepared to oppose George III’s apotheosis.
Kronos helped bring down George III’s bid for the Black Emperor, resurrected Trunsoest, and plundered the Perfect Land before becoming a Knowledge Emperor. After helping evacuate the Forsaken Land of the Gods, he returned to Loen and prepared a coup with Marquis Argel, while the Evernight Goddess summoned him.
Kronos seized the Pirate Duchy, pursued the powers of time and fate, and used them to challenge the Hidden Sage. He defeated Constantin and accommodated the Hermit Uniqueness, but delayed his final apotheosis potion while Adam prepared to distract Stiano.
