Karin took a deep breath.

He was a little nervous now. He was about to face Sargeras, the fallen Titan and lord of demons, who also possessed the Guardian's power. Anyone would have been nervous...

Moreover, Aegwynn's sudden appearance had disrupted most of his plans. At the very least, it seemed Kel'Thuzad, Khadgar, and the others could no longer help him; in a sense, he could only try a desperate remedy now.

"If the All-Knowing Eye were still here, I wonder what it would calculate my chances of survival to be?" Karin said mockingly to himself.

Still, he bravely walked out through Karazhan's gates.

Karazhan's gates were spacious, wide enough even for the towering Curator to pass through... Karin took the Arcane construct with him and left the Tower!

So even if Karin wanted to flee, he had to buy enough time first.

Karin drew Glamdring with his left hand and brought out his Staff with his right, then ordered the Curator behind him, "Follow me. To the cellar!"

Karazhan's cellar had been a place of terror and supernatural phenomena even in his previous life.

As Karin approached the cellar entrance, the sinister aura coming from within made him tremble slightly, while Glamdring's blade flashed with dazzling silver light...

"Obstruction detected. Unable to pass!" The Curator called out in an icy voice.

"Destroy it!" Karin ordered.

With a bang, the Curator's massive fist slammed into the entrance door. Unfortunately, it did not seem to have done any damage...
