A few more days passed.
Yang Yi spent most of his time aboard the Nightmare Star, switching his Hunt to "Sociologist Istil" and training like mad to improve his attributes with the help of growth-promoting potions and the Training Room.
He was happy to take a hands-off approach, leaving the heavy responsibility of developing and building up Corpse Island to Mars. He only occasionally went over to take a look and read the reports, focusing more of his energy on improving himself.
He planned to train all his attributes to over 90 as soon as possible, becoming a true Mythic-level powerhouse in one fell swoop.
At that point, perhaps he would no longer need those unconventional methods. His muscles alone would be enough to crush the vast majority of enemies.

Istil had successfully settled in, becoming the owner of the Sub-Laboratory and Su Na's research assistant.
The two talked very frequently, discussing some of this world's strange phenomena almost constantly.
Most of their discussions, however, ended with Istil's expression gradually turning vacant, because her head hurt, and this was the only way she could ease it.
In addition, Istil had become the Nightmare Star's First Mate, jumping straight above Cui Xiya. This left the latter particularly unhappy, because she had clearly been there first!
In the end, with Yang Yi pulling strings behind the scenes, Cui Xiya and Istil held a duel, with Yang Yi as the referee.
The duel took place in a clearing on Corpse Island, with almost no spectators, so hardly anyone knew the outcome.
In any case, Cui Xiya never said anything like "I was clearly here first" again afterward. She also became much more hardworking, and could even often be seen in the Training Room, building muscle alongside Yang Yi
