Yang Yi sailed through the night, blasting apart three or four icebergs, but he encountered no more Pale Worms before morning.
It seemed these living icebergs were still quite rare, and their earlier gathering had been due to the attraction of the Giant Bobbit Worm's head.
After daybreak, Yang Yi was so sleepy that he kept yawning.
He brought the ship to a stop, deployed the Twilight Veil to conceal it, then returned to the Captain's Quarters and lay down on the bed, falling asleep.
Five hours later, Yang Yi woke.
He checked his attribute panel and found that his health had almost fully recovered, but his frostbitten areas had yet to heal and were both itchy and painful.
They were concentrated on his face, hands, and feet, appearing as purplish-red chilblains.
At the same time, he noticed Su Na's message: "Come to the Witch Laboratory after you wake up."
"Has her cold gotten better?"
Yang Yi opened the crew interface and found that Su Na's status had changed to cold (mild). It seemed it no longer affected her movements.
Looks like the Holy Water worked, Yang Yi thought.
He walked out of the Captain's Quarters and found that the Nightmare Star was still invisible and had not moved.
But the wind seemed stronger, carrying tiny bits of ice. A single gust left Yang Yi fully awake.
These bits of ice had most likely formed from sea spray freezing as the waves collided, and they stung a little when they struck his face.
Yang Yi looked out at the sea. There was more floating ice now, often in large sheets, but fortunately, it was all thin enough not to affect the ship's passage.
He checked the weather.
``` Today's weather
The wind is bitterly cold, and fishing yields are reduced.
