Xuandou confronted Mukade after crossing Rōran’s barrier, then learned that Mukade was a future rogue ninja from Sunagakure who had killed Queen Seram and injured Yunyou and Shiwa. Mukade summoned his puppet legions, and Xuandou’s companions charged to fight them.

• Xuandou crossed Rōran’s sealing barrier using Tokitsumori and confronted Anrokuzan, demanding to know why he had harmed his sons.
• Xuandou identified Anrokuzan as Mukade, a rogue ninja from Sunagakure’s future, and accused him of causing Queen Seram’s death.
• Mukade defended his actions and summoned an army of clay, iron, and human puppets.
• Rin Nohara saw Yunyou trapped in a puppet’s hand, Hashirama Senju began healing Shiwa, and Madara Uchiha prepared to fight.

Xuandou and his allies devastated Mukade’s puppets, but the Dragon Vein restored and enlarged them. As the battle continued, Xuandou charged Mukade while Mukade transformed into a giant metal puppet.

• Xuandou unleashed Scarlet Dragon, while Madara manifested Perfect Susanoo and Hashirama summoned True Several Thousand Hands to crush the puppet tide.
• Rin Nohara, Temari, and Tekka struggled against the puppets as the others gradually destroyed most of them.
• Madara used Chibaku Tensei against Mukade, but Mukade sent puppets to engulf the gravity sphere and then revived the battlefield’s puppets with Dragon Vein energy.

Xuandou, Madara, and Hashirama battled Mukade’s endlessly regenerating giant puppet as Rōran was reduced to ruins. Xuandou rewound the battlefield by one minute, and Madara used the opening to send Mukade flying toward Xuandou and Hashirama.

• Xuandou struck Mukade’s giant puppet with Morning Peacock, cutting it in two, but Mukade revived it with Dragon Vein power.
• Madara’s Perfect Susanoo attacked the puppet, only for Mukade to rebuild himself into an even larger giant and send waves of puppets after Temari and the others.
• Hashirama summoned True Several Thousand Hands and clashed with Mukade’s giant, shaking the region and further destroying Rōran.
• Xuandou activated Tokitsumori and rewound the entire battlefield to one minute earlier.
• Madara recognized the opening and batted Mukade’s puppet toward Xuandou and Hashirama.

Xuandou, Hashirama, and Madara tried to stop Mukade, but the Dragon Vein overwhelmed Hashirama’s sealing jutsu and Mukade used Yunyou as a hostage. Xuandou trapped the battlefield in Infinite Tsukuyomi, swallowed Rōran into Yomotsu Space, and secured its people, puppets, and two Dragon Veins.

• Xuandou used Yomotsu while Hashirama summoned Myojinmon to suppress Mukade and draw him toward the space-time vortex, but the Dragon Vein’s power shattered the red gates.
• Xuandou rewound time, but Mukade avoided Madara’s strike with a prepared clay substitute and threatened to kill Yunyou if Xuandou rewound again.
• Xuandou used Flying Thunder God to reach Yunyou and pulled nearby puppets into Yomotsu Space, but Mukade was controlling them from elsewhere.
• Xuandou handed Yunyou to Madara, then cast a shallow-layer Infinite Tsukuyomi that trapped Mukade, the Dragon Veins, and everyone else in Rōran in an illusion.

Xuandou gathered Xuanyin’s leaders to discuss the state of the Shinobi World and declared that Xuanyin had surpassed the other villages. He revealed his decision to prepare for unifying the Shinobi World, and the leaders rallied behind him.

• Xuandou summoned Xuanyin’s senior leaders to a meeting at the Imperial Palace in Azure Tide Port.
• Uchiha Shingen described Xuanyin as the strongest power but warned that Konoha, Kirigakure, and Sunagakure remained formidable rivals.
• Kurotsuchi argued that the other villages were too weakened to match Xuanyin and claimed the Shinobi World belonged to it.
• Xuandou agreed with Kurotsuchi and decided to prepare Xuanyin for the unification of the Shinobi World.
• Xuanyin’s leaders declared their support for Xuandou and dismissed the other villages as weak.

Xuandou persuaded Xuanyin’s leaders to launch a war against Konoha, Sunagakure, and Kirigakure, claiming he would unite the Shinobi World and bring peace. The next morning, he began rebuilding Rōran and ordered Mukade’s memories extracted.

• Fugaku argued that Xuanyin should attack the three great ninja villages to end the wars and save the people, and Xuandou agreed to declare war.
• Xuandou announced that Xuanyin would mobilize for war, march in half a month, and seek to pacify the Shinobi World.
• Xuandou brought thousands of people to the Rōran Ruins, where Xuanyin ninja cleared the area, craftsmen planned its reconstruction, and Rōran’s people leveled the foundations.
• Xuandou took the unconscious Mukade to Xuanyin Prison and ordered an Anbu to use the Yamanaka Clan’s Mind Technique to extract his memories.

Xuandou confronted Sara in the Land of Wind, blaming Rōran for the Uchiha children’s imprisonment and injuries despite Sara’s explanation that Mukade had controlled the city. He demanded that she bear him a child as compensation, and the chapter ended with him claiming all of Rōran belonged to him.

Xuandou brought Sara to the ruins of Rōran and wagered that its people no longer recognized her as queen. Seeing the devastation Mukade had caused and Xuandou’s reconstruction efforts, Sara feared she had already lost.

• Sara wagered that if Rōran’s people recognized her as queen, Xuandou would end his demands; if they did not, she would bear his child.
• Xuandou used Flying Thunder God to take Sara to Rōran, where Goumu Yanō and ninja were rebuilding the city.
• Sara realized that the ruins around her were Rōran and was shocked to see that its landmarks had been destroyed.
• Xuandou approved Goumu Yanō’s rebuilding plans and said ninja would restore Rōran faster than the Land of Wind Capital had been built.

• Xuandou hired Goumu Yanō to redesign Konoha with Hashirama and relocated its residents and clans throughout Xuanyin, offering them land, resources, and clan-specific support.
• Xuandou arranged for ninja across the Shinobi World to be registered and entered into a lottery; Kakashi won a restaurant, while Asuma acquired a hot spring inn and left Konoha with three clan members.
• After the Gunbai Flag flew over Konoha, Shingen celebrated the Uchiha’s return, Rasa felt relieved by his alliance with Xuandou, and Mei Terumi continued conquering islands in the Land of Water.

• Kazuma volunteered to take responsibility, and the Daimyō praised him while criticizing Chiriku for hesitating.
