Wangchuan killed Mahito and left to join the battle in the forest, while Gojo’s Curtain shattered. As the students prepared to face Suishi and Hanami, Wangchuan appeared behind Suishi and demanded to know what he had done to his students.
Wangchuan killed Suishi with a single finger, then reunited with Yuji Itadori and was recognized as his missing teacher. The surviving fighters realized Wangchuan had returned, while Hanami froze under his gaze.
Satoru Gojo arrived in the forest and Hanami was killed instantly by Wangchuan. Wangchuan used the Horse Talisman’s healing light to save Toge Inumaki, who woke up unable to speak normally.
After the battle, Megumi Fushiguro asked Wangchuan to help save his unconscious sister, Tsumiki. Wangchuan agreed, then reunited with Utahime Iori before heading back to Jujutsu High with Megumi.
Wangchuan met Tengen to discuss the plan to end the age of curses, though he secretly intended to absorb the moon instead of making a magic circle. Before leaving, he asked to resurrect Sukuna, and Tengen allowed him to retrieve the Fingers while warning him to keep his word.
Wangchuan arrived at the hospital with Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, and Megumi Fushiguro to see Megumi’s comatose sister, Tsumiki. After examining her, Wangchuan sensed the dormant Yorozu within Tsumiki’s body.
Wangchuan removed Uraume’s cursed object from Tsumiki Fushiguro, ending the cause of her yearlong unconsciousness. Sukuna emerged through Yuji Itadori’s cheek, challenged Wangchuan to a future fight, and was met with Wangchuan’s contemptuous dismissal.
Wangchuan confronted Sukuna through Itadori and promised to restore him so he could fight Satoru Gojo, though Sukuna chose Wangchuan as his target. The chapter ended with Sukuna discovering that Wangchuan had directly wounded his soul and eagerly anticipating their future battle.
Jogo, Huojin, Dagon, and Mu Xi decided to resurrect Mahito, Suishi, and Hanami using forty thousand human lives, despite Kenjaku warning them that Wangchuan’s return made the plan dangerous. Kenjaku went to find a city, while privately considering how Mu Xi’s technique might help him defeat Satoru Gojo.
On the moon, Wangchuan’s rapid surge in power left him nearly unable to feel emotions, and the system warned that he risked becoming a vessel for power. The system advised him to rebuild emotional bonds before pursuing the next stage: world creation.
Mei Mei exorcised seven Grade 1 cursed spirits at a Tokyo shopping mall and secured payment for the job. As she and Ui Ui prepared to leave, they sensed an ambush, and Suguru Geto appeared in the street ahead.
Mei Mei confronted Kenjaku, who planned to use her as part of a scheme requiring forty thousand lives, and fought two Special Grade Cursed Spirits he summoned. She activated the Raven Burial Cursed Tool and destroyed both spirits, leaving Kenjaku facing her next.
Mei Mei and Ui Ui were overwhelmed by Kenjaku’s army of cursed spirits, but Wangchuan arrived and destroyed the horde with lightning. His presence exposed Kenjaku’s brain-like true form and left him unable to move.
Wangchuan offered Kenjaku his life if he could amuse him, but Kenjaku admitted he could not and accepted death. Just as Wangchuan prepared to kill him, Mei Mei reminded him that Kenjaku was using Suguru Geto’s body.
Wangchuan spared Kenjaku after Mei Mei reminded him of Satoru Gojo, then learned where the cursed spirits had taken Sukuna’s Fingers. He transported Jogo, Huojin, Mu Xi, and Dagon to his location, where Huojin erupted at the sight of him.
Wangchuan confronted Huojin, Dagon, Mu Xi, Jogo, and Kenjaku, and Jormungandr swallowed Huojin in one bite. The surviving four unleashed their domains together, and Wangchuan answered with his own Domain Expansion.
Wangchuan unleashed his open domain, Heavenly Punishment Thunder Burial Prison, overwhelming the four domains and reducing everything within five kilometers to scorched ground. Jogo accused Wangchuan of killing thousands, but Wangchuan said he had never noticed the humans; Jogo was left kneeling in despair.
Wangchuan’s lightning left Kenjaku exhilarated by the existence of a being beyond the Jujutsu system, while Mei Mei’s concern helped Wangchuan recover some of his emotions. Wangchuan ended the fight by destroying Jogo, Dagon, Mu Xi, and Kenjaku, though Kenjaku died regretting that he never released “those guys.”
The Jujutsu Higher-Ups and foreign governments joined forces to seize Wangchuan’s resurrection technique, while Wangchuan prepared the Twelve Talismans and contemplated a dangerous challenge for Gojo. The chapter ended with Wangchuan planning to pit Gojo against a forty-finger Ten Shadows Sukuna.
Utahime Iori learned that Jujutsu Headquarters had blamed Wangchuan for Tokyo’s disaster and made jujutsu public, then faced Naoya Zenin and American troops seeking to use her against Wangchuan. Naoya attacked her, but his hand stopped just short of her face as if blocked by an invisible wall.
Utahime Iori defeated Naoya Zenin and the forces sent to capture her, then warned Wangchuan that the jujutsu higher-ups and foreign nations were preparing to act against him. Wangchuan and Satoru Gojo agreed to confront the corrupt higher-ups, and Wangchuan began to recover more of his emotions.
Yuki Tsukumo met Wangchuan to learn whether he could erase Cursed Energy, and he opened a rift to show her and the others a battle in another parallel world. The chapter ended with them watching a different Satoru Gojo clash with Sukuna at his peak.
