Obito shot back, "Are we relying on you or me? Hiruzen Sarutobi is clearly trying to win over the Uchiha now. Konoha doesn't want to wipe them out, so what good can I do alone?"
"Then kill Uchiha Yan!"
"Where's your brain?"
Obito sounded exasperated. "What about the plan? Without that secret technique, you go find nine Kage-level rogue ninja.
"If you want to kill Uchiha Yan, fine. Get the secret technique out of Danzo's head first. Otherwise, don't even think about it.
"If we can't find the secret technique, we'll still need Uchiha Yan's brains to get Kage-level ninja from the Five Great Villages to defect."
"Damn it! I'm starting to wonder whether that bastard Uchiha Yan knows our plan and deliberately made up a secret technique that doesn't exist."
"You're crazy! Why not say he saw the Shinobi World's future in a genjutsu world?"
Leaving those words behind, Obito went straight back into the Kamui Dimension. He really was afraid Black Zetsu would notice something amiss.
"Whew..."
Once back in the Kamui Dimension, Obito let out a long breath, then picked up a scroll inside. It was none other than the one Uchiha Yan had left for Uchiha Itachi.
As he read the scroll, determination flashed in Obito's eyes. No! Uchiha Yan mustn't die. If the Eye of the Moon Plan fails, with him around, Rin will still be able to live in a peaceful Shinobi World once she's revived.
Obito had already tried Izanagi. Even after changing the outcome of his death, the cursed seal on his heart remained.
Only then had he begun to question whether he could truly escape Madara Uchiha's control, use the Rinnegan to revive Rin, and carry out the Eye of the Moon Plan
