Loa uncovered Yilikasi’s plot, killed him after mastering Great Annihilation · Return to the Void, and continued toward Ghost Soul Prefecture with Wangcai. Along the way, Wangcai and Selena defeated bandits, and the group reached the Sea of Ruins, where Loa killed Yas’s Life Divine Clone and continued toward Adonis City.

• Wangcai and Loa followed Karuoso’s lead into a trap, but Loa saw through the scheme, killed Tos, and confronted Yilikasi’s clone, which he destroyed with his fused divine powers.
• Loa returned to Kapa City, stole the Mund family’s Soul Treasure, and fought Yilikasi until the treasure helped him understand Great Annihilation · Return to the Void, which erased Yilikasi.
• Loa and Wangcai traveled toward Ghost Soul Prefecture, where Wangcai and Selena joined forces to defeat the Cloudmist Bandit Group, while Loa killed its fleeing first chief.
• Selena joined Loa and Wangcai on their journey and explained how Netherbone flowers and ghostweed could be used to attract Soul Beasts and obtain Soul Crystals.
• Kailuosa destroyed the Reese Family’s estate over its shipment of restricted plants, while Edmund Howa plotted to claim Kailuosa’s position and rule Ghost Soul Prefecture.
• Near the Sea of Ruins, Yas’s Life Divine Clone fled into Loa’s path, and Loa killed him with Great Annihilation · Return to the Void, and Talos let Loa’s vessel pass, while Yas mourned the loss of his clone’s possessions.

Loa searched the Sea of Ruins for Soul Treasures, defeated Miller, Edmund, and Sikaly, and lost Wangcai to a Death Curse that only a Paragon could purify. He returned with Wangcai to the Yulan Continent, where Wangcai chose to overcome the curse by advancing to Highgod, while Selena set out to find Loa.

• Loa and Wangcai entered the Sea of Ruins, joined Talos, and hunted Soul Beasts while pursuing rumors of a High-Grade Soul Treasure near the Eye of the Ruins.
• Loa killed the Octopus Emperor, then helped Wangcai and Talos seize a Middle-Grade Soul Treasure before defeating Miller and driving him to seek Tie'emu'er's aid.
• Loa continued searching with Wangcai and Talos as Edmund and Sikaly attacked Kailuosa near a forming Low-Grade Soul Treasure.
• Loa and Kailuosa defeated Sikaly and Edmund, but Edmund's death curse struck Loa, Kailuosa, Wangcai, and Talos, and Wangcai drew all four curses onto himself.
• Loa carried unconscious Wangcai through a teleportation passage to the Yulan Continent, killed Hodan, and brought Wangcai to his home while seeking Beirut's help.
• Beirut explained that Wangcai could awaken through life sovereign power or break the curse by reaching Highgod, and Wangcai chose to train toward Highgod.
• Tie'emu'er claimed a High-Grade Soul Treasure and headed toward Hell, while Selena traveled to the Yulan Continent and began searching for Loa.

Loa obtained the Red Rhombus Crystal and reunited with Talos, whom Wangcai and Selena helped rescue from the Antler Clan. After the Iron Hoof Clan defeated its enemies, Loa confronted Tie'emu'er over the High-Grade Soul Treasure and revealed his overwhelming strength.

• Selena confessed her love to the unconscious Wangcai and stayed by his side, while Loa broke through to Highgod.
• Wangcai awakened as a Lightning Element Highgod, erased his Death Curse, and accepted Selena's marriage proposal before helping Loa defeat Odin's attackers.
• Loa gathered a band of searchers to find the Red Rhombus Crystal, killed Niusida, and claimed the crystal from Mololo after the death contract killed him.
• Loa learned that Tie'emu'er had captured Talos, then joined Wangcai and Selena in a plan to rescue him while the Iron Hoof Clan attacked Blood Antelope Cliff.
• Wangcai freed Talos from the dungeon, and Talos joined the battle as the Iron Hoof Clan broke through the Antler Clan's defenses.
• Copper Skull defeated Batur and the Iron Hoof Clan captured Blood Antelope Cliff, while Loa went to the Sari Family estate to demand the High-Grade Soul Treasure from Tie'emu'er.
• Loa evaded Tie'emu'er's attacks and shattered his arm, leaving Tie'emu'er to realize Loa had been holding back.
