Watching the four of them struggle to calm down, Rhodes was rather excited himself. Fortunately, he had been "absolutely certain" beforehand that there had to be Sovereign Sparks inside, so he could still barely keep his excitement under control.
His Wind Divine Clone in the Infernal Realm naturally had to maintain his dignity as their elder brother in front of Lei Ding and the others. His Lightning Divine Clone in the Ji Lei Mountain range, however, was another matter entirely. He let himself go as wild as he pleased, freely releasing his excitement and venting all those indescribable feelings-ecstasy, happiness, satisfaction, and more.
After all, he could now be certain that the pillar of light before him contained a Lightning Element Sovereign Spark. Although he did not know its rank, Rhodes no longer cared.
Rhodes had never intended to refine the Sovereign Spark immediately. He would wait a while first. After all, each Divine Clone had only one chance to refine a Sovereign Spark, and he did not want to settle for a Low-level or Mid-level Sovereign Spark. Rhodes wanted to see whether a Lightning Sovereign would appear in the world first. If this spark was not the Lightning Sovereign's High-level Sovereign Spark, he would save it for his future offspring, then bring Hathaway, Pash, and the Four Divine Beasts along to find Hulei from the original story.
He was virtually certain to obtain the Lightning Element High-level Sovereign Spark, and killing Hulei would net him an additional Earth Element Sovereign Spark. Whether he kept it himself or placed it in the Hall of the Gods to attract Deities into their service, either would be an excellent choice.
