A mountain tens of thousands of meters tall gleamed white all over. Bones lay scattered everywhere across it, and at its summit stood one of the Netherworld's two Teleportation Arrays.
Another pillar of light shot into the sky. The Highgods stationed beside the Teleportation Array watched it with boredom. Who knew how many times the array lit up each day, or how many people it brought over? Generally, they paid no attention to anyone below the Highgod level.
"More arrivals. Can't we get a few experts? Most of the people transported here every day are Saint-level. It's no fun at all." A white-haired youth in black robes turned toward the Teleportation Array. The hazy light around the enormous array faded, revealing two figures within it. As the light cleared completely-
"A Highgod!"
The surrounding Deities immediately turned at these words. Even some Midgods farther away looked over. Highgods rarely appeared through the transport passage. If their arrival was handled poorly, a major battle could break out. That was why every faction occupying a Teleportation Array stationed Highgods there.
"Hadley, all the Deities transported here during this century go to your side. What luck. Your faction will gain another Highgod. Why wasn't there even a single Midgod during the last century?" a black-haired Highgod in white robes complained.
Once all the light had faded, the Highgods carefully examined the two arrivals. The Highgod had long blood-red hair and wore blood-red robes, while the other, a Midgod, had long black hair and wore purple robes.
"Big brother, is this the Netherworld? There are plenty of Highgods guarding the Teleportation Array here too. Looks like someone's occupied this place as well. Will they attack us if we refuse to join?" Pash asked Rhodes as he watched the
