Original Future

According to Qian Renxue’s account, Bibi Dong’s sympathy for Yu Xiaogang developed into love. She gave him access to Spirit Hall’s confidential documents and intended to elope with him. Information concerning the Angel God Armor and Angel Soul Bone set was subsequently leaked 6 7 9.

Qian Xunji sexually assaulted Bibi Dong, resulting in Qian Renxue’s birth. Bibi Dong later devoured him to unlock her Rakshasa Divine Trials. Mother and daughter blame each other for their contributions to Spirit Hall’s eventual destruction at Tang San’s hands 4 9.

After appearing in Fang Yuan’s Sea of Consciousness, Bibi Dong spends six years alongside him and Qian Renxue. Fang Yuan helps mother and daughter reconcile. With a clearer mind and his explanations, Bibi Dong recognizes that Yu Xiaogang deceived her and reassesses her own past conduct, although her hatred of Qian Xunji remains 1.

Altered Present

The seven-year-old Bibi Dong has been Spirit Hall’s Holy Maiden for about a year. Her life largely consists of cultivation and study within the Pope’s Hall, where the elders’ deference and Qian Xunji’s restrictions leave her without friends her own age 11.

Fang Yuan’s arrival exposes the future before those events occur. Qian Renxue’s testimony frightens Bibi Dong and draws suspicion from Spirit Hall’s senior members. Fang Yuan argues that she should not be punished for actions she has not committed, persuading Qian Daoliu to give her a chance. His intervention produces the first change in her fate 4 5 6 7.

Grateful for his defense, Bibi Dong grows close to Fang Yuan, asks him to live beside her, and accepts the address “senior brother.” She renews her commitment to Spirit Hall and agrees to improve both her cultivation and her studies so that she will not be deceived 10 11.

Her attachment to Fang Yuan brings her into conflict with both her future self and Qian Renxue. After witnessing his rapidly increasing strength, she resolves to cultivate harder. At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, she earns Lovesick Heartbreak Red’s recognition, and her future self intervenes to help transform her Martial Souls 19 21 26 31 32.

Appearance

• Younger self: Her brow and eyes resemble Qian Renxue’s closely enough for Qian Daoliu to notice the family resemblance 5.
• Future self: Described as alluring, cold, and unapproachable in contrast to her younger self’s expressive manner 10.
• Divine manifestations: Rests on a Divine Throne shrouded in black-and-red Rakshasa Divine Power. When enveloping Fang Yuan, she manifests as a purple figure surrounded by a purple-black silken cocoon 1 16.

Personality

Young Bibi Dong is sheltered, emotionally expressive, and eager for companionship. The accusations about her future leave her terrified, while Fang Yuan’s support quickly earns her trust. She strongly insists on her loyalty to Spirit Hall and, despite initially disliking the idea of more reading, accepts that greater knowledge could protect her from deception 5 6 10 11.

Her affection for Fang Yuan becomes possessive: she treats her future self and Qian Renxue as rivals and interprets their closeness to him as something from which she must rescue him. That determination also motivates her to cultivate harder and absorb Lovesick Heartbreak Red rather than preserve it 19 21 29 31.

Future Bibi Dong combines fierce resentment toward Qian Xunji with protectiveness toward Fang Yuan, whom she says she raised like her own son. She is easily provoked by Qian Renxue’s taunts and embarrassed by her younger self’s behavior. Nevertheless, she ultimately puts that embarrassment aside to help her younger self’s transformation 1 12 19 32.
