Appearance
Qian Renxue has a slender figure, long golden hair, fair skin, finely sculpted features, and pale violet eyes 50 51.
- Clothing: Appears at her duel in a gilded gown embroidered with a Six-Winged Angel emblem; later wears a purple-and-gold dress 50 68.
- Wings: Manifests two pairs of white wings during the early duel. Angel True Body expands them into six luminous wings 50 57.
- Peace Zone attire: Wears plain white clothing while living among the refugees 73.
- Return to Spirit City: Resumes her gold-embellished gown and fastens her hair with an angel-feather ornament 73.
Personality
Initially, Qian Renxue is aloof, proud of her lineage, and deeply concerned with the Angel Clan’s dignity. She values honorable conduct and initially refuses to break her promise to restrict her abilities during her duel with Su Yi. Chrysanthemum Douluo also describes her as someone who especially appreciates talent 50 51 54.
Her pride makes her vulnerable to humiliation and provocation. The exposure of her undercover identity drives her from despondency into obsessive cultivation and a desire for revenge. During their duel, Su Yi exploits her sensitivity about the Angel Clan until she abandons restraint and exhausts herself 3 54 56 57.
She later becomes capable of acknowledging wrongdoing, formally apologizing to Su Yi. Serving refugees changes her outlook further: witnessing the wounded and displaced leads her to question Spirit Hall’s war and consider what responsibility accompanies her inheritance. When she leaves the Peace Zone, her former arrogance has visibly given way to reflection and resolve 69 73.
Abilities & Skills
Six-Winged Angel
The Qian family’s inherited Martial Soul possesses holiness, light, and fire attributes 69.
- Naturally suppresses evil-aligned power, burning away the dark vines of Su Yi’s Evil God Forbidden Zone 51.
- Excels at aerial suppression and diving attacks 50.
- Is highly sensitive to fallen evil, allowing Qian Renxue and Qian Daoliu to help track Fallen Soul Masters through their lingering resentment 69.
Combat Soul Skills
| Ability | Documented effect |
|---|---|
| Angel Assault | A charging attack followed by a powerful punch; forces Su Yi backward even when he blocks with his spear 51. |
| Angel Wings — Second Soul Skill | Multiplies her speed severalfold through her wings of light 52. |
| Angel’s Edict | Creates a sacred-light shield capable of negating most damage and reflecting some attacks; deflects Su Yi’s three-pronged spear strike 52. |
| Angel Judgment | Releases overwhelming sacred power that shatters Su Yi’s armor and leaves wounds whose lingering holy energy slows his healing 52. |
| Angel’s Roar — Sixth Soul Skill | Produces an Angel Phantom that releases a wide-ranging spiritual assault, briefly stunning Su Yi and exposing his location 55. |
- Numbering discrepancy: Angel’s Edict is called the Third Soul Skill, but its activation passage states that her Second Soul Ring flickers 52.
Angel Domain
A golden domain that suppresses hostile power and fills its surroundings with sacred light 54.
- Disperses evil energy and makes Su Yi’s Soul Power circulation more sluggish 54.
- Compresses the Evil God Forbidden Zone, though armored, continuously restored Blue Silver Grass initially preserves a foothold against it 54 55.
- Requires considerable Soul Power, particularly when maintained alongside spiritual attacks and sustained sword combat 55.
Angel True Body
Her Seventh Soul Skill enlarges her angelic form and manifests six wings. Its power overwhelms Su Yi’s domain and prevents him from remaining concealed beneath her gaze 57.
- Enables devastating aerial sword strikes, including a hundred-foot blade of sacred light 57.
- Consumes Soul Power rapidly during prolonged pursuit 57.
- Its nearly twenty-foot wingspan becomes a liability in dense woodland, where branches obstruct her movement 57.
Swordsmanship
Qian Renxue combines precise defensive swordwork with fast counterattacks, aerial slashes, and projected sword light 52 53.
- Seals off the paths of Su Yi’s spear attacks during close combat 52.
- Recovers quickly from ambushes despite her limited wilderness experience 53.
- Can use her wing edges offensively, shearing scales from Su Yi’s shoulder armor 57.
Soul Core and Divine Power
Su Yi adapts Soul Core cultivation to her needs, allowing her to form her first divine soul core in half a month 72.
- Her strengthened foundation and experience among ordinary people contribute to a more complete Godhood Inheritance 75.
- As Angel God, she repeatedly defeats Sea God Tang San. He acknowledges that her use and control of divine power surpass his own 75 79.
- Her sword light devastates mortal formations and wounds multiple Titled Douluo during an allied retreat 79.
Medicine
- Learns basic medical skills from Su Yi while living in the Peace Zone 72.
- Works daily in the medicine sheds and becomes practiced at quickly securing bandages 73.
Weapons & Items
- Holy sword / Angel Holy Sword — Manifests a golden longsword from Soul Power and can reform it after releasing it. In Angel True Body, its sacred fire produces immense cutting attacks 51 52 57.
- Angel-feather ornament — Worn in her hair when she leaves the Peace Zone for Spirit City 73.
History
Heaven Dou Infiltration
Qian Renxue impersonated Xue Qinghe as part of Spirit Hall’s long-running plan to seize the Heaven Dou Empire from within. After the Second Prince was poisoned, the First Prince’s faction purged its opponents, including Su Yi’s family. Pursued by the surviving faction, Su Yi retaliated by distributing leaflets exposing her identity and the takeover plan throughout Heaven Dou City 3.
Qian Daoliu rushed to retrieve her and brought her back to Spirit City. Bibi Dong publicly denied both the scheme and Qian Renxue’s association with Spirit Hall. Humiliated by the mission’s collapse and the mockery she encountered afterward, Qian Renxue withdrew before dedicating herself to cultivation and revenge. She subsequently remained close to Qian Daoliu and rarely ventured out 3 47.
Duel with Su Yi
Ten years after exposing her, Su Yi sought a face-to-face settlement rather than revenge against Spirit Hall. Chrysanthemum Douluo delivered his challenge and arranged a secluded battlefield outside Spirit City, preserving Qian Renxue’s public dignity while secretly watching over the encounter 47 48 50.
Qian Renxue accepted because she wanted to know how Su Yi had uncovered her disguise. Confident in her superior cultivation, she promised not to use Angel Domain or her Martial Soul Avatar. She initially dominated the direct exchanges, but pursued him into a forest where his concealment, renewable vitality, and guerrilla tactics steadily depleted her strength 51 52 53 54.
Su Yi’s taunts about the Angel Clan and the Tang family eventually provoked her into unleashing both restricted abilities. Although Angel True Body overwhelmed him at first, its consumption and the obstructed terrain exhausted her. Su Yi pierced her right wing and struck her from the sky, leaving her unable to continue 54 56 57 58.
Afterward, he identified three mistakes: abandoning her aerial advantage, stubbornly restricting herself on unfavorable terrain, and losing control under provocation. He contrasted those choices with his account of the first Angel God, Qian Yuhan, whose pride lay in protecting living beings rather than preserving appearances. He then declared their accounts settled and departed 58.
Reconciliation and the Angel Trials
Several years later, Qian Renxue and Qian Daoliu sought Su Yi out to apologize formally. Learning about his past had troubled her after their duel. Su Yi accepted reconciliation, explaining that he had already avenged his family against the direct perpetrators, the Mo and Liu families 68 69.
They cooperated in hunting Fallen Soul Masters, then accompanied Su Yi while he obtained his ninth Soul Ring. After witnessing a divine phenomenon around him, Qian Renxue was astonished to learn that he had refused the Nature Goddess’s inheritance 69 70 71.
Their discussion turned to her own Angel Nine Trials. Su Yi warned that her state of mind could prevent her from perfecting the final Heart-Questioning Trial. He described three approaches—severing emotion, relying on obsession, or cultivating a Divine Heart through compassion—and left her and Qian Daoliu to consider what made someone a true angel 71.
Life in the Peace Zone
Qian Daoliu postponed her trials and entrusted her to Su Yi, who had established a neutral refuge on the Heaven Dou–Star Luo border. Qian Renxue learned to help displaced people, practiced medicine, and cultivated her soul core. Over more than half a year, she and Su Yi grew closer, although he maintained a gentle distance 72.
The suffering around her led her to question whether Spirit Hall had been wrong to begin the war. Su Yi distinguished unification from oppression: he believed lasting unity could end recurring conflicts, but rejected Bibi Dong’s intended dictatorship. He urged Qian Renxue to consider how Spirit Hall should achieve unity and govern afterward 73.
After reflecting overnight, she returned to Spirit City, resolved to act on those responsibilities. She promised to find Su Yi again after the war 73.
Ascension and the Continental War
Qian Renxue became the Angel God, overturning the battlefield balance in the Spirit Hall Empire’s favor. The opposing empires’ defensive lines collapsed under her holy light, while Tang Sect and Clear Sky Sect Titled Douluo were forced back 74.
She defeated Tang San in his first battle as Sea God and continued to defeat him in subsequent encounters. During one retreat, her sword light cut down nearly half the allied vanguard and wounded the accompanying elders. Tang San concluded that mortal reinforcements could not bridge the gap and that victory depended on matching her divine-level strength 75 79.
Relationships
- Su Yi — Initially the man she blamed for destroying her undercover mission. Their duel, reconciliation, and time together in the Peace Zone transform the feud into trust and personal closeness; the provided events do not establish a formal romantic relationship 3 58 69 72 73.
- Qian Daoliu — Grandfather, lifelong instructor, and protector. He rescues her from Heaven Dou, secretly observes her duel, and later suspends her trials so she can gain experience among ordinary people 3 47 54 56 72.
- Bibi Dong — Mother and ruler whose intended oppressive order becomes a central issue in Qian Renxue’s discussion with Su Yi about Spirit Hall’s future 73.
- Yue Guan / Chrysanthemum Douluo — Spirit Hall elder who knows her abilities well and mediates her challenge with Su Yi. His account of Su Yi’s childhood later contributes to her desire to apologize 47 48 69.
- Qian Yuhan — Ancestor and First-Generation Angel God. Su Yi’s account of her willingness to risk herself for all living beings challenges Qian Renxue’s understanding of angelic pride 58.
- Tang San — Divine battlefield opponent. As Sea God, he repeatedly loses to her and admits that her control of divine power exceeds his 75 79.
