The screech of steel cutting echoed across the entire zone, the rumble of treads over the ground lingering endlessly. The industrial district's renovation was in full swing. Employee break rooms, offices, and other useless layouts were uniformly converted into new production workshops. Thanks to the earthquake, some areas of the industrial district could be built more compactly.

Qin Su intended to turn this industrial district into a zone with a complete industrial system. Combining his traits as a mechanical intelligence with existing knowledge, he designed various types of robots. However, limited by available materials and scientific knowledge, the war robots he designed were somewhat weak. They couldn't punch an S-Class Valkyrie in one hit like a Titan; a single war robot could only handle the most basic Assault-type Honkai Beasts. Dealing with a stronger Knight-type Honkai Beast would be a struggle.

Qin Su evaluated based on its paper stats: "As long as there are enough numbers, even Tank-type Honkai Beasts can be handled."

"Time to give it a name. Its paper stats are a bit higher than a C-Class Valkyrie. I'll call you T-800." The iconic metal skull and endoskeleton inevitably reminded one of a robot from a certain movie, which was also the origin of the name.

Although in Qin Su's eyes, this work was still insufficient, it was a small step for him but a new step against the Honkai. The Armed Doll project had been forcibly terminated due to the Armed Dolls developing self-awareness. These Honkai Terminators would be centrally controlled. Under unified command and coordination, they would unleash extremely strong collective combat power.

The industrial district had resumed production. The first things manufactured were various types of production, construction, and raw material collection robots, along with two T-800 "Honkai Terminators" used for testing and protecting production and mining operations.

The vast lands of Africa stored abundant resources—ore, natural rubber, everything needed. This provided Qin Su with a good starting point for his early development.

At an open-pit iron mine, mining robots were carrying out collection operations. The excavated ore was placed into storage containers. Just as a storage container reached full capacity, a transport drone landed there. The robots, with tacit understanding, hooked the container onto the drone's underside. The moment the hook caught, the drone took off and transported it to the ore smelting plant. The work machines in the smelting plant caught the container the instant the drone landed and began preliminary processing of the ore.

The entire process from ore extraction to smelting was seamless, monitored and coordinated by Qin Su throughout. This was the benefit of possessing powerful computational power. And because it was processed through an intelligent hub like Qin Su, many unnecessary intermediate steps were eliminated. Such sophisticated systems engineering was just the tip of the iceberg.

A hundred meters from the open-pit iron mine, an Assault-type Honkai Beast seemed to have caught the "civilization" scent on these robots. It flapped its wings at a speed so fast they appeared almost "still," its target clearly these moving machines.

The T-800 started running as the Assault-type approached.

Just as one was about to charge at a mining robot, it was suddenly punched in the face by another T-800 sprinting over. The fist, the size of a sandbag, left the Assault-type Honkai Beast dizzy and disoriented. Staggering, it retreated a few meters, warily observing the T-800, circling around it, waiting for an opportunity.

The titanium alloy skeleton gleamed with a silvery-white luster under the sunlight. Advanced optical sensors watched every move of the Honkai Beast. The small computer in its head could record data from various sensors and upload it to the central computer.

Until he had enough data, Qin Su wouldn't let the T-800 kill this Honkai Beast. In this era, the concentration of Honkai energy had reached an extremely high level. Herrschers were on the verge of emerging, and Honkai Beasts were rampant worldwide. Even in the low-concentration Honkai energy nature reserves of the Americas, there were plenty of Honkai Beasts. But overall, Honkai Beasts were still a relatively scarce species.

The Assault-type's body suddenly recoiled, then charged straight at the T-800. Qin Su didn't have the T-800 dodge. He wanted to see how much damage this Assault-type could inflict on the T-800, and the strength of the improved Titanium-Uranium Alloy.

With a "bang," the nearly half-ton T-800 was knocked back one or two meters, its chest slightly dented. It got up from the ground but didn't counterattack. The Assault-type's intelligence was simple, and its attack methods were limited to ramming and circling slashes. This was also a good chance to test the standard Titanium-Uranium Alloy's resistance to cutting. The other T-800 nearby was observing the entire battle from a third-person perspective. If this T-800 was unfortunately destroyed, the observing T-800 would kill the Honkai Beast directly.

As if reading the Assault-type's mind, seeing that ramming was ineffective, it immediately used a circling attack on the T-800. Its swift, sharp wings scraped across the T-800's titanium alloy armor, producing a piercing, grating sound of metal cutting.

Even the lowest Assault-type managed to carve a deep gash into the T-800's arm.

The T-800 that had been watching from the sidelines, under Qin Su's control, charged in. One hand grabbed the Assault-type's body, while the other quickly formed a fist and punched it repeatedly at high speed. Under the fierce assault, three of the Assault-type's biological armor plates stuck together, and it could no longer move. The T-800 thrust both palms into the Assault-type's head and tore it apart with brute force.

The damaged T-800 would be carried back to base by a drone for repairs. Mining operations had never stopped from the start. The other T-800 cleared over a dozen Assault-types within a radius of more than a thousand meters. Apart from the one used for initial combat testing and data collection, there were basically no damaged robots.

After two or three months, the protective modifications targeting the T-800's weaknesses were all complete. Mining operations in various areas were proceeding methodically. The industrial district expansion plan had been slowed down due to material shortages, but once the expansion was finished, T-800 production could increase to about 28 units per year.

Aggregated data showed that this base's productivity was rising like a rocket. He now had 62 robots of various types, including 16 security robots. But among the combat robots, only two were T-800s truly capable of fighting Honkai Beasts, and one T-1000 guarding the space center. The others could barely handle some zombies.

Qin Su pondered, "Safety is still a very important issue." It could be said that without needing an A-Class Valkyrie or an Emperor-level Honkai Beast, any B-Class Valkyrie or a lower-tier Honkai Beast like a Honkai Emperor could snuff out this newborn mechanical intelligence in its infancy.
