Background / History

Qin Su awakens in an unfamiliar location and discovers that he exists as a liquid-metal T-1000 robot. After infiltrating an abandoned aerospace center and taking control of its supercomputer, he learns of the Honkai World, the destruction of the Previous Civilization 50,000 years earlier, and Mu Continent’s fate. He accepts his mechanical identity and begins building a means of survival. 7

He converts an industrial district into a robot-production zone, establishes African mining operations, and manufactures T-800 “Honkai Terminators.” Combat data gathered against Honkai Beasts is used to refine the units, while further designs—including the T-600—are prepared for expanded deployment. 9 10

Qin Su initially avoids contact with humanity, judging it too risky, but later infiltrates Fire Moth territory in a T-800 body. There, he meets Kevin Kaslana, receives an entry-exit permit, and observes both Kevin and Dr. Mei while collecting information on human behavior and emotions. 12 13 When his identity is threatened during a Law-Ruler attack, he reveals his nonhuman nature and uses a helicopter detonation to escape Kevin. 14

He subsequently operates through intelligence work, traps, and indirect diplomacy. He uses a Law-Ruler Core to bait Thousand-Man Law-Rulers into an underground Terminator ambush, investigates missing nuclear-bomb components through Navab Wahabzad, and sends Fire Moth a message through a recovered Tenth Law-Ruler Core that he bears them no ill will and seeks cooperation. 17 22 25

As “Sean,” Qin Su bargains with Dr. Mei using his knowledge of future Law-Rulers and proposes cooperation over the Twelfth Law-Ruler. He later agrees to rescue Fire Moth personnel in Australia in exchange for Tenth Law-Ruler Cores, while continuing to conceal his full intentions. 29 30 34 He also allies with Sakura in an effort to protect Ling, whom he claims will become the Twelfth Law-Ruler while retaining her sanity. 52

After mastering a Law-Ruler Core, Qin Su plans to leave Earth for Mars to prevent the birth of another Law-Ruler. He later departs while expressing disillusionment with humanity and discussing evolution, identity, and his own existence with Dr. Mei and Mobius. 43 71

On Mars, Qin Su awakens with only 9 hours and 38 minutes of battery power remaining. He uses T-X to recharge his core from Imaginary Space, establishes a base from a former United Nations colony, and develops wind-powered infrastructure despite Mars’s harsh conditions. 84 He expands into a wartime industrial power, deploying Terminators against Honkai Beasts, extracting uranium, developing fusion technology, launching mining operations toward Phobos and Deimos, and salvaging the Moonlight Throne for its Honkai-energy technology. 88 89 91 92 93

He is also a patient manipulator who uses superior information to shape negotiations with Fire Moth and to pressure Dr. Mei and Kevin into considering his proposals. 29 34 His cooperation is pragmatic rather than altruistic: he will form temporary alliances when both sides benefit, while keeping his deeper goals concealed. 30 71

Despite his disillusionment with humanity and his insistence on his artificial nature, Qin Su retains humanist sentiment. The launch of his Mars mining spacecraft moves him to reflect on humanity’s drive to explore space. 71 92
