Ancient Injuries and Awakening

Gu Yuena’s ancient memories include the slaughter in the Divine Realm, the splitting of the Dragon God, and her flight to Douluo. Wounded in the Dragon God’s great battle, she recuperated in a hidden space beneath the Lake of Life, sustained by its life essence 26.

When she awakened, her dragon body remained scarred by incompletely healed divine wounds. Di Tian and the Ferocious Beasts bowed before her emergence, recognizing her authority. She assumed human form and declared her hostility toward humanity 26.

Battle for Star Dou

Gu Yuena intervened when Qian Gu Fenfeng’s forces surrounded Xiong Jun in the northwestern canyon. After Qian Gu Fenfeng announced his intention to eradicate Star Dou’s Soul Beasts, she led the Five Great Ferocious Beasts against his twelve supreme powerhouses 30.

Fighting beside Di Tian, she used elemental attacks, the Silver Dragon Domain, and a spatial illusion cage. Qian Gu Fenfeng countered their techniques with the Unyielding Staff Technique. When his Limit Break targeted her, Di Tian shielded her with his body and suffered devastating injuries 31.

The Dragon God’s Heart then transmitted God King Origin from Dragon Valley into Gu Yuena. Its power allowed her to overwhelm Qian Gu Fenfeng, leaving his body shattered and his Godhood near collapse. Ah Yin later confirmed that she and Tang Hao had helped during this intervention 32 40.

Capture

Her battlefield victory did not stop the wider operation: Leng Yaozhu and Leng Yulai had left to capture Soul Beasts, while Qian Chenyue intercepted Yun Ming’s attempt to intervene 33.

As the borrowed power faded, Gu Yuena attempted to escape. Yue Zhengen sealed the airspace while the other human powerhouses obstructed her movements, corroded her defenses, and disrupted her spatial judgment. Han Tianyi locked onto her divine soul to prevent another connection to the Dragon God’s Heart 33.

Yue Zhengen broke her protective barrier with the Angel Holy Sword and bound her with the Sea God Helmet’s chains. The Angel Legion subsequently captured all five Ferocious Beasts 33.

Rebirth and Imprisonment

Several months later, Gu Yuena regained her past-life memories while restrained in the lowest level of the Spirit Pagoda’s secret laboratory. Unlike the earlier temporary empowerment, this awakening was described as her soul returning to its place 34.

She remembered her joint death for love with Tang Wulin in the Far North’s ice cavern, the plane’s collapse during the abyssal war, and the failure of the peace she had pursued between humans and Soul Beasts. These memories left her with a cold resolve in place of her earlier exhaustion 34.

Tang Wulin remained unaware of her whereabouts a year after his own rebirth. Gu Yuena was still in the laboratory when Qian Gu Fenfeng initiated the Apotheosis Plan, watching him with open hostility 40 47.

Gu Yuena is proud of the dragon race and fiercely hostile toward humanity upon awakening. She condemns Qian Gu Fenfeng’s scheme and refuses to accept his claim that he can exterminate the Soul Beasts 26 30.

Her resolve does not exclude retreat. Once the Dragon God’s Heart’s power fades, she prioritizes survival and attempts to flee despite the Soul Beasts remaining on the battlefield 33.

Her restored memories reveal a lifelong pursuit of peace between humans and Soul Beasts, alongside profound grief over its failure. After rebirth, that experience manifests as a colder, more deliberate resolve 34.
