Dai Mubai subsequently offers him a room and protection. Oscar initially retreats uneasily, but daily contact brings them closer; within a month, he calls Dai Mubai “Big Brother.” Shao Xin, who has been training Oscar as his disciple, first fears this influence but endorses it after hearing Dai Mubai's ideas about support-type cultivation 19.

Building a Suotuo City Power Base

After the five-year time skip, Oscar has become both Dai Mubai's strategist and the second-in-command of Black Panther's underground organization. He has already captured a Soul Beast goods distribution channel and reached rank 39 22.

He selects the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect as his political target, intending to gain authority through Ning Rongrong and eventually bring the sect into Dai Mubai's future Star Luo Empire. Dai Mubai supplies two Immortal Herbs and shortens Oscar's proposed ten-year relocation timetable to five years because of Spirit Hall 22.

Winning Ning Rongrong's Interest

During the new students' assessment, Oscar intervenes after Xiao Wu disables Ma Hongjun. He defeats her without a Soul Skill, deliberately demonstrating that a support Soul Master can fight and attracting Ning Rongrong's attention 25 26.

Oscar supplies Tang San with selectively framed dossiers, then deliberately lets him discover a mind map while searching Oscar's belongings. His goal is not merely to break the student–teacher bond, but to provoke conflict between Tang San and Tang Hao 58 59 60.

Disillusionment with Shrek Academy

Flender's promise to expel Ma Hongjun and Ning Rongrong at Yu Xiaogang's demand deeply alienates Oscar. He concludes that the dean has placed his friend above the academy's students 53.
