Susan's counterattack, the Negative Zone Energy Matrix
The elevator doors slid open on the top floor of the Baxter Building.
A violent, intense blue light, like a materialized wave, slammed into Lynn's face. The air was thick with the pungent smell of high concentrations of Ozone, and the temperature was raised dramatically, even causing the edges of the elevator's metal door frame to warp and deform slightly under the intense heat.
Lynn stepped out of the elevator.
The hall, which Wanda had magically transformed into a classic manor, now had a three-meter-diameter hole forcibly torn in the center of the floor. A deep vortex of pure energy was spinning wildly above the hole. It was a ghostly blue color that defied the laws of geophysics, and each pulsation was accompanied by a dull, low-frequency hum that sent shivers down one's spine.
Susan stood on the edge of the whirlpool.
Her uniform fluttered wildly in the energy storm, and her long, golden hair clung messily to her face. Her complexion was as pale as paper from overexerting her Invisible Force Field, but her blue eyes burned with a morbid light that bordered on madness.
Upon seeing Lynn appear, Susan immediately dispelled the Force Field Shield that had been protecting her, letting the violent energy particles scrape against her skin, and quickly stepped forward to meet him.
"Master." Susan's voice trembled slightly with excitement as she knelt before Lynn, holding up a transparent hexahedral terminal that emitted a faint blue glow. "This is my value."
Lynn lowered his eyes, his gaze sweeping over the hexahedron before finally settling on Susan's sweat-drenched face.
"The Negative Zone Energy Matrix." Lynn's tone was calm, revealing neither joy nor anger. "Reed Richards spent ten years, risking the lives of the entire Fantastic Four, exploring the Negative Zone, and only managed to pry out a tiny remnant. He considered this thing a taboo that could destroy the Earth at any moment, and sealed it underground with thirty-six bio-locks."
"Reed is a coward, castrated by morality and rules!" Susan suddenly raised her head, a flash of undisguised contempt and hatred in her eyes. "He has a godlike mind, yet he only dares to be a coward! This power, in his hands, will forever remain nothing more than a pile of scrap metal in the basement!"
She crawled two steps on her knees, tightly hugging Lynn's calves, her upturned face filled with a sickly fawning.
"But you're different. Only a tyrant like you, who disregards everything, deserves true unlimited energy. Stark's prized Arc Reactor is less than a flashlight in the face of this Matrix!"
As Susan spoke, she held the hexahedral terminal high in the air.
"I have forcibly erased all of Reed's Source Code. Now, with just a drop of your blood, the infinite energy of the entire Negative Zone will be completely bound to your life force. From this day forward, you will be the sole energy Deity on this planet!"
Lynn looked into Susan's longing eyes.
This woman, in order to outshine Natasha in the basement and to prove that she was more than just a bed warmer, actually stripped the Fantastic Four bare, directly handing them a technological hegemony that could buy half of United States.
This kind of ruthless competition is truly delightful.
Without hesitation, Lynn bit the tip of his index finger and pressed a drop of blood onto the top of the transparent hexahedron.
Buzz--!
The moment the blood dripped, the entire Baxter Building shuddered violently.
The hexahedral terminal burst forth with a blinding red and blue interwoven light. The energy vortex in mid-air emitted an extremely high-pitched buzzing sound, and the originally violent and disordered dark blue particles instantly became as docile as lambs the moment they recognized Lynn's biological information.
An immense amount of energy, beyond calculation, surged wildly through the building's physical pipelines.
With a crisp "click," the building's original mains power supply network was completely cut off. The Negative Zone Matrix directly took over the building's energy center. Not only that, but the enormous energy even overflowed along the underground cables.
Outside the window, the lights of the entire Manhattan neighborhood flickered simultaneously for a moment, then burst into a blinding glare three times brighter than usual.
"Binding complete." Susan trembled with excitement as she looked at Lynn's iris and DNA profile displayed on the terminal. "Master, from now on, with just a thought, the Matrix can provide you with the energy to destroy a country. Or... cut off the power supply to the entire North America."
Lynn grasped the hexahedral terminal.
Through the cold material, he could clearly feel the vast and boundless surging power within. With this, the biggest shortcoming in his creation of an extraordinary Legion and the construction of a top-tier defense system in reality was completely filled.
Stark Industries ' energy monopoly?
Tony Stark wouldn't even be worthy of carrying the shoes of Negative Zone Matrix.
"You did a great job, Susan." Lynn's lips curled into a satisfied smile. He freed his other hand and generously pinched Susan's chin, forcing her to stand up, before giving her a deep, aggressive kiss.
The stench of blood mingled with the scent of Ozone, spreading between the lips and teeth.
Susan's mind went completely blank. Overwhelmed with ecstasy, her legs went weak, and she almost collapsed into Lynn's arms. She gripped the edge of Lynn's shirt tightly, and tears welled up in her eyes.
She won!
What makes that self-harming red-haired bitch in the basement compare to her unlimited energy?!
Lynn released the panting Susan, casually tossed the hexahedron terminal into the system space, and glanced over Susan's shoulder, sweeping towards the other side of the hall.
There, on a classical Throne forcibly twisted and transformed from a mahogany desk.
Wanda sat quietly on the edge.
She wore her signature dark red trench coat, her long legs crossed. On the surface, she seemed completely unresponsive to Susan's offer of the treasure.
But Lynn's gaze fell on her right hand, which was resting on the armrest of the Throne.
The hard, solid wood armrest had been crushed into a pile of fine wood dust by her. The tiny wood shavings slipped through her pale fingers, piling up into a small cone on the carpet.
Wanda lowered her eyes, and Scarlet glow danced wildly beneath her long eyelashes.
anxiety.
An unprecedented sense of extreme anxiety and panic was gnawing at Wanda's heart like a venomous snake.
She watched as Natasha presented S.H.I.E.L.D..'s global intelligence network to the basement surveillance cameras; she watched as Susan handed Lynn an infinite amount of energy capable of overturning the world.
These two lowly women are frantically increasing their bargaining power with Lynn by using their tangible and substantial resources.
And what about her?
She possesses Chaos Magic capable of tearing apart even Skyfather-level powerhouses; she's capable of slaughtering everyone for Lynn. But besides carnage and destruction, what else can she offer Lynn?
Without these things, would Lynn feel she was worthless? Would she think she was just a monster who was good for nothing but madness?
"No..."
Wanda's lips trembled slightly, and a suppressed murmur escaped her throat.
She absolutely would not allow that to happen!
Lynn is hers. She's the man who risked his life to bring her back from the Sokovia Ruins. No one can take Lynn's gaze away from her with these pieces of junk!
The temperature in the air suddenly plummeted.
Thick, viscous Scarlet Particles began to rise uncontrollably from beneath Wanda's skirt. These particles did not unleash violent destructive power, but rather spread slowly outwards with a suffocating obsession and deathly stillness.
Lynn watched this scene, his cold smile growing even deeper.
The time is right.
The infighting between Susan and Natasha finally pushed this Chaos witch's possessiveness to the breaking point.
