Omnidirectional Destruction Beam, Ghost-Spider's Desperate Stand
Lynn's consciousness was being torn apart by two completely different and extreme forces.
On one side is the biting cold of Helheim and the terrifying pressure of the Gungnir; on the other side is the scorching heat of the New Mexico desert, enough to melt rocks.
The Spider-Sense's shrill screams echoed wildly deep within his mind, so sharp they almost pierced his brainstem. Because the system's Pain Suppression was turned off, every bit of heat his body experienced in the Real World poured into his senses without reservation through his nerve endings.
He was locked tightly inside his body, his eyelids felt as heavy as a thousand pounds, and he couldn't even move a finger.
"Damn it..." Lynn gritted his teeth deep in his mind.
The system's Substitute Death Mechanism is working hard to lock onto the energy fluctuations of the Gungnir in the Simulated Space-Time. At this critical juncture, if he forcibly cuts off the simulation's awakening, not only will Hela's progress be instantly wiped out, but he will also have to endure the terrifying backlash from the energy chaos between the two worlds.
He could only wait... wait for the Gungnir to pierce his body, wait for the system to finish processing.
But in the Real World, he simply doesn't have the time.
The bright orange light pierced through his eyelids, projecting a blinding blood-red glare onto Lynn's retina. The smell of Ozone mixed with the acrid stench of the vaporized Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. filled the air, assaulting his nostrils.
The roar emanating from the Destroyer's Energy Core had closed to within fifty meters.
Just then, a heavy mass, carrying a strong stench of blood and dust, slammed into Lynn's chest.
It's Gwen Stacy.
Lynn could clearly feel that petite body trembling violently and uncontrollably. Her heavy, arrhythmic breathing hit the side of Lynn's neck, and it was frighteningly hot.
"No one is allowed to touch him!"
Gwen Stacy's hoarse scream exploded in the gale. She abandoned the assassination of Thor, abandoned all tactical evasion, and like a mad she-wolf, spread her arms wide to protect Lynn.
The Silk emitter on her wrist emitted a piercing grinding sound. High-voltage Bioelectricity was unrestrainedly squeezed out and surged wildly into the Silk through her blood vessels.
"Sizzle--!"
A dark blue arc of electricity danced wildly in the desert night sky. Gwen Stacy's fingers flew, and at the cost of her life, she forcibly wove a half-meter-thick electrified Web Shield in front of the two of them.
The next second, the Destroyer's Omnidirectional Destruction Beam roared in.
"Boom!"
A torrent of orange-red energy slammed violently into the Bioelectricity Spider Web. The two extreme energies clashed wildly in mid-air, erupting in blinding light.
Extremely high temperature. Enough to melt Uru Metal.
Lynn could even hear the crackling sound of the surrounding sand crystallizing instantly.
"Ah--!"
Gwen Stacy let out a piercing scream. Under the relentless onslaught of the Destruction Beam, the Web Shield was visibly vaporizing. The terrifying heat wave penetrated the gaps in the shield, directly licking her back.
The white Ghost-Spider Suit was instantly charred and Carbonization.
Lynn smelled the stench of protein being roasted by fire. A drop of scalding liquid splashed onto his cheek— Gwen Stacy's blood.
"Hold on... I can hold on..."
Gwen Stacy gritted her teeth, blood gushing from the corner of her mouth. She buried her face in Lynn's neck, her hands gripping Lynn shoulders tightly, her nails tearing through his clothes and digging into Lynn flesh.
Her body's Bioelectricity had been depleted to its limit, and her heart was pounding with a dull drumbeat due to overload, which also caused Lynn's chest cavity to resonate.
This almost pathological stubbornness caused Lynn's violent emotions to erupt like a volcano.
He is a ruthless tyrant who habitually treats everyone as pawns and always maintains complete control. He can use these women as tools to rack up rewards and exploit their possessiveness to tear each other apart.
But now, the sharpest knife he had personally trained was lying on his body, using his flesh and blood to block that damned Tin Can!
"Asgard scum..." Lynn growled Subconscious, like Beast.
He vowed that once he regained consciousness, he would dismantle the Destroyer Armor piece by piece into scrap metal and crush Loki's spine inch by inch!
"Lynn... don't be afraid..."
Gwen Stacy's weak voice sounded in my ear. Two-thirds of her Web Shield had already shattered, and the flesh on her back was being scorched by the high temperature, the blood evaporating before it could even flow out.
She smiled, a twisted sense of satisfaction in her eyes, and hugged Lynn tightly.
"You are mine... no one can take you away... not even in death..."
This extreme obsession and loyalty transformed into the sharpest knife, piercing Lynn's nerves.
The Defense Line reality were about to collapse; the intense heat of the Destruction Beam had already singed the hair on Lynn's forehead.
Meanwhile, in the Simulated Space-Time of Helheim, a similar Extremis descended.
"Get out of my way! You ignorant mortal!"
Hela's hoarse cries forcibly drew Lynn's attention back to the Underworld Palace.
This once arrogant Goddess of Death was now frantically grabbing at Lynn's arm. The arrogance in her eyes had vanished, replaced only by the extreme panic of losing her beloved.
Lynn, covered in blood, gripped Hela's shoulders tightly, shielding her behind him.
He raised his head, his bloodshot eyes meeting the blue-white beam of destructive light in the sky.
Odin's Gungnir has pierced the gloom of the Underworld.
"Remember my face." Lynn stared at Hela, a chillingly arrogant smile creeping across his lips. "In these Nine Realms, only I am worthy to die for you."
"No--!" Hela grabbed Lynn's waist tightly, trying to shield him from the Divine Punishment with her own body.
It's too late.
In reality, Gwen Stacy's Web Shield shattered with a final, agonizing crack. The orange-red Destruction Beam, like a fiery dragon with its jaws wide open, swallowed the area where the two had been standing.
In the simulation, the blue-white divine light of the Gungnir, carrying overwhelming energy, struck Lynn squarely between the eyebrows.
Two energies, each capable of destroying everything, descended simultaneously in two different timelines.
Time seemed to stand still at that moment.
