Silence was the prevailing theme in the air.
This disaster-ridden planet still saw no turn for the better.
From the plague to the Wasteland Monsters, then from the False God to the end initiated by the Wasteland Sun.
In less than a single day.
Every incident on the Trade Star would have been enough to spell the end of another world.
This day would eventually pass.
Yet the Wasteland Species named [Flashstar] that Zhuxing Tu spoke of was about to arrive from the endless starry sky.
The starry sky was also part of the Wasteland, just like the sun and moon.
But during the day, the stars did not show themselves. Only at night would the gentle moonlight leave a place for them.
The Wasteland's moon was gentle.
At least, far gentler than the sun.
"The sun and moon in the Wasteland are equal existences."
Zhuxing Tu spoke again.
"The vast majority of Wasteland Species choose to travel through the Wasteland at night."
She wagged her finger.
"The stars are loathed by the sun. With no other choice, they are forced to hide in the endless starry sky."
Starlight wound around the [Starfall King's Authority] ring she wore on her right hand.
"Only the moon is different. The moon neither competes nor contends, neither frets nor rages. It allows the stars to approach the Wasteland at night."
Starfall Authority had long since enveloped the entire Trade Star.
She had used King's Authority to hold back the end brought about by the sun, and judging by how effortlessly she handled it, this charlatan probably had no fear whatsoever of this end unfolding in the Wasteland.
In fact, as a First-Generation Train Conductor, there was no telling how many means she had of dealing with the end.
"The end really is terrifying."
