Flashstar's life flashing before its eyes / Spirit: 1200 / The Eternal Moon's observation

The True God was dead.

At the moment that bullet reduced it completely to ashes.

Its past flashed through Flashstar's mind.

From its bewildered birth, all the elders of the Flashstar Clan had held it in high regard, saying it would surely become the apex of their clan and obtain the power called [The End], thereby giving the Flashstars the power to return to the Wasteland from this starry sky once again.

It had believed them, and it had worked hard.

It had become a god.

But when it truly built a Desolate Realm belonging to the Flashstar Clan on the Wasteland, full of confidence and courage.

Two beings whose names it did not even know, who had never even appeared in their true bodies, had fought on this Wasteland. The aftermath of the End they unleashed destroyed its Desolate Realm, tore through it, and even took it away to use without a word, merely to serve as a trace of nourishment for their battle.

It had been afraid. It had fled back to the starry sky.

It had failed, yet in a certain sense, it had also succeeded.

Because it had successfully obtained the prefix [Wasteland Species] for the Flashstar Clan.

Even though it had spent less than a thousand years on the Wasteland.

Why had this happened?

It could not understand.

The Wasteland was clearly infinite, and even the Wasteland each being occupied belonged to that being alone.

Why had others been able to affect it?

It could not understand.

Only after hiding in the starry sky for many years had it finally realized something.

Its world had not been discovered. Rather, the battle between those two beings had affected a portion of this Endless Wasteland.

Even a mighty apex could not affect every corner of the Wasteland.
