Ye Qiyan rubbed his eyes, making sure he had not seen it wrong.
Delight appeared on his face, and he nodded in satisfaction.
"Stamina went up by fifty, spirit by a hundred. Not bad, not bad. Those seven days of sleep were worth it. And my stamina recovered so quickly this time. I didn't even get that real exhaustion debuff. Is it because I didn't expend all that much?"
His quiet muttering made Red Tears, who had been silently staying beside him all this time, open her eyes.
She gently reached out and touched the back of Ye Qiyan's hand.
"Hmm? What is it?"
Ye Qiyan stroked Red Tears' demon horns. Watching her movements, he kept feeling that she seemed much more animated than before.

Red Tears revealed a radiant smile, different from her usual indifference.

Ye Qiyan withdrew his hand, and the thin blanket covering him slid off.

He got up, washed, and ate.
After spending a while on all that, Ye Qiyan took WALL-E over to the window seat where he often sat.
He reached for the tray on top of the little Block Robot's head and, under its expectant gaze, ate a bowl of Whiteforest Fruit ice cream.
This was an ability WALL-E had recently learned.

He opened the train window.
It was clearly daytime, yet there was no sun to be seen in the sky outside.
