• Alice said Abucado had used a Level 13 consumable item called Reverse Birth to reverse Talents, and that its boss possessed another Level 13 item that let members gain part of the Talents of captured or killed holders by eating them.

Abucado's Mad Poison, Ba'al, began an assault on Haiyuan Island as part of a plan with the City of Eternal Night, trapping the island and its occupants. Ye Qiyan recognized Abucado's hand in the attack and prepared to act.

• Ba'al and Zhong Mojing met with Vampire Earl Olide, who confirmed the City of Eternal Night's cooperation and asked Abucado not to forget the item its boss wanted.
• At 13:00, Zhong Mojing announced the start of Abucado's plan, and Olide declared Haiyuan Island a sacrifice for the True Ancestor's ascension.
• The Train System disabled departure permissions as dark clouds and a crimson haze covered Haiyuan Island.
• Ba'al emerged on a giant blue centipede, froze or killed island defenders, and demanded that Island Lord Huang Kaiji appear.

Huang Kaiji was trapped in a duel as Vampires invaded Haiyuan Island and cut it off from the outside world. Ye Qiyan prepared his weapons and Demon Cards to confront the invasion, ending with the Steam King appearing on the battlefield.

• Huang Kaiji summoned ink-black soldiers, but Ba'al destroyed them and trapped him with her inside his Yin-Yang Barrier.
• A crimson doorway opened above Haiyuan Island, and twelve trains arrived as the world lost access to outside travel, chat, and trading.

The Vampire Earl Olide recognized Altos, the Imperial Sequence’s Demon Mecha-Dragon Man, and feared his arrival at Haiyuan Island. Zhong Mojing revealed his strength and went to confront Altos while Olide contacted the Vampire True Ancestor, who ordered a Duke sent to kill Altos.

• The Steam King and the Goblin Hero attacked the Vampires, and Olide identified Altos from a wanted poster.
• Olide tried to flee, but Zhong Mojing transformed into a younger, stronger form and headed out to hold Altos off.
• Zhong Mojing urged Olide to summon reinforcements, reminding him that Abucado would honor its agreement.
• Olide contacted Kastanien, the Vampire True Ancestor, and reported that Altos had appeared on Haiyuan Island.
• Kastanien ordered Olide to remain and prepare his heart as the anchor for a Vampire Duke’s arrival.

Ye Qiyan and Eve fought Zhong Mojing, an Elder of Abucado who wielded time-folding powers and a field that slowed everything in the Arena. Ye Qiyan entered the battle himself and ordered Eve to attack Zhong Mojing.

• Ye Qiyan had Eve attack Zhong Mojing with her weapons, but Zhong Mojing used Space-Time Folds to block the barrage.
• Ye Qiyan summoned Death Omen, whose black feathers and Corpse Crows attacked Zhong Mojing, while Zhong Mojing’s talent spread a calming effect across the Arena.
• Eve pierced Zhong Mojing’s Time Folds with the Eternal Cutter and wounded him, forcing him to evade her attacks.
• Zhong Mojing created a Stasis Field that slowed everything in the Arena, but Ye Qiyan’s Astral Sacred Crest shielded his group from its effects.

Eve, Lisette, and Ye Qiyan defeated Zhong Mojing, whose time-based defenses were overcome by the Temporal Arsenal. As Zhong Mojing revealed the Wasteland’s forward-only nature and warned Ye Qiyan about his enemies and the coming Golden Age of Train Conductors, his injuries worsened and he awaited his fate.

• Eve’s attacks forced Zhong Mojing to flee, but Lisette used the Temporal Arsenal’s time acceleration to cancel his Stasis Field and wound him with a Psychic Wave Blade.
• Ye Qiyan revealed that the gold-red barrier had been bait, and Zhong Mojing accepted defeat as Eve and the Raven blocked his escape.
• Zhong Mojing warned Ye Qiyan that Card Sequences could turn against their holders and revealed that the Train System prevented time and space in the Wasteland from moving backward.
• Zhong Mojing explained that the God of Time had been annihilated and that the Train System had freed the Wasteland’s worlds from divine manipulation; the Raven appraised his Time-Fate Scepter as a remnant of that god.
• Zhong Mojing said he did not know Abucado’s boss’s Talent and warned Ye Qiyan that he lacked the strength and time to oppose the organization before the Golden Age of human Train Conductors advanced.

Ye Qiyan killed a Vampire Duke with one shot, then heard Zhong Mojing explain that the coming golden age would bring more Talent holders and increasingly difficult Platform Worlds. He rejected the idea that any age could limit him and used Dominion to make Zhong Mojing live.

• A Vampire Duke emerged in the Arena, but Ye Qiyan used Judgment to bind and kill him with a single shot.
• Ye Qiyan asked the stunned Zhong Mojing to continue explaining the golden age.
• Zhong Mojing said Talent holders had become more common and that the current batch would face harder Platform Worlds with greater dangers and rewards.

Ye Qiyan subdued Zhong Mojing and left the battle to his arriving forces, while the Vampires’ defeat forced Ba'al to lift the world’s departure lockdown and flee. The chapter ended with Huang Kaiji learning that Demon Mecha-Dragon Man had intervened and realizing he owed him a major favor.

• Ye Qiyan used Supremacy to make Zhong Mojing call him master, branded him, and ordered him to report important events in Abucado.

After recovering from his battle on Haiyuan Island, Ye Qiyan accepted Alice's friend request and departed for the Wasteland, ready to choose his next stop. The Fork in Destiny offered him a Level 8 quest platform and a Level 9 mystery platform.

• Zhuxing Tu sensed that the Golden Age had changed and suspected Ye Qiyan had altered its course.
• Monrojina read news about Ye Qiyan killing a Vampire Duke and admired his growing power.
• Ye Qiyan recovered his Stamina after a week of rest as Haiyuan Island's account of the vampire attack made the City of Eternal Night hostile toward it.

Ye Qiyan arrived at the level 9 Human platform, where he found a seemingly ordinary village and met its wary residents. Suspecting that the village concealed a mystery, he sent the Demon Raven to find the dead.

• Ye Qiyan chose the level 9 Mystery Platform and arrived at the stop called Human, where he had to complete an objective to depart.
• Ye Qiyan surveyed the eerie station and surrounding village, then sent WALL-E to search the platform.
• Eve locked onto Warren and several villagers approaching the station, but Ye Qiyan released the locks and introduced himself as a traveler.
• Warren identified himself as the chief of Renlang Village and led Ye Qiyan to the village inn, where Xi Xiangzhi offered him a room.
• Ye Qiyan summoned the Demon Raven and ordered it to search Renlang Village for the dead.

• Ye Qiyan questioned Xi Xiangzhi about the outside world and the Village’s Mass Grave, and she struggled to explain who was buried there.
• Ye Qiyan realized the Village’s events were a resetting game and that his new Werewolf status meant he was tonight’s target.
• The Parchment named the innkeeper as the human chosen to kill Ye Qiyan, while his reflection appeared to transform into a Werewolf.

With his systems cut off, Ye Qiyan forced the entity to explain the platform’s secret and demanded to know how to reach and kill it.

• Ye Qiyan defeated the Judge, and the villagers forgot the Judge had existed.
• With only Jia Aisi left in the village, Ye Qiyan questioned him until Jia Aisi realized he could not remember who he had been running errands for.
• The entity behind Human possessed Jia Aisi, revealed that Ye Qiyan could no longer leave because his train had disappeared, and sent the dead villagers crawling toward him.
• The tunnel swallowed Ye Qiyan’s train, cutting off the Module, system permissions, and Illusory Watcher’s feed.

Ye Qiyan restored time in the tunnel, killed the one-eyed creature controlling Renlang Village, and claimed a Rule Echo left by the God of Time. He followed WALL-E deeper into the tunnel and found a level 9 treasure chest beside a Werewolf skull.

• Jia Aisi revealed how to clear the stop and enter the tunnel before Ye Qiyan ended the village game and returned to the Train.
