Ye Qiyan learned that the City of Eternal Night was sending sealed packages to Solo City through the RUN Company and offered the information to Zhao Xi. Zhao Xi paid for the news and considered whether to return to Solo City, while Ye Qiyan sent her a promised plush toy.

• Ye Qiyan received a message from Russell, who reported that the City of Eternal Night had the RUN Company deliver sealed packages to Solo City.
• Russell asked whether Ye Qiyan was Altos, the Imperial Sequence Organization's Demon Mecha-Dragon Man, and Ye Qiyan left the question without concern.
• Ye Qiyan told Zhao Xi about the shipments and offered her the information, and she sent him a hundred Train Coins to make it a trade.
• After hearing the details, Zhao Xi wondered whether she should return to Solo City, where the Judgment Court had nearly fallen apart.

After choosing the Level 9 quest platform Nephthys's Court, Ye Qiyan searched the desert for its objective and found Nephthys's remains and a cursed, inactive Spirit Jade. A sandstorm cleared, and he approached a frightened merchant caravan to ask for directions to the nearest city.

• Ye Qiyan chose Nephthys's Court over Corpse Tornado and arrived in a desert engulfed by a sandstorm.
• Ye Qiyan sent WALL-E into the storm to test its phantom image, then used his Wealth Shield to search around the train.

• The caravan leader eyed Ye Qiyan and Lisette suspiciously, but Sand Bandits caught up with the caravan before he could question them further.
• Ye Qiyan ordered the Sand Bandits killed, and Lisette used the Temporal Arsenal to kill their leader while Ye Qiyan's Flying Arrows slaughtered the rest.
• The caravan leader offered Ye Qiyan a map and asked him to travel with the caravan, and Ye Qiyan agreed to learn about the world and reach the nearest city.

• The caravan leader told Ye Qiyan that the desert had once been called Nephthys's Court, but the Heavenly God had defeated its guardian deity and forbidden people from saying Nephthys's name.
• Ye Qiyan learned that the temple in their destination city held a gemstone-inlaid saber taken from the guardian deity, and suspected it might help restore Lingyu.
• Ye Qiyan and the caravan reached Udialles, where beastfolk were common and a golden dog-headed statue stood at the city's center.
• After declining a banquet hosted by merchant association president Aishala, Ye Qiyan disguised himself as a phantom thief and entered the temple at night.
• Ye Qiyan questioned and knocked out six praying followers before learning that the saber was in a hidden compartment behind the tallest statue in the temple.

Ye Qiyan stole Nephthys's Reverse Feather from the temple, escaped Matem's pursuit, and returned to the chamber of commerce. When Aishala questioned whether he was an outsider, he used Bewitchment to pose as an ancient magician and asked her about Nephthys.

• Ye Qiyan found Nephthys's red-and-gold feather hidden behind the dog-headed statue, awakening Matem and drawing a sandstorm and the god's furious pursuit.
• Ye Qiyan escaped through Voyage and returned to the chamber of commerce, where Eve told him Aishala had visited.

• Aishara asked Ye Qiyan to avenge Nephthys and defeat Matem, whom she accused of betraying and killing the goddess.
• After Aishara dealt with a boy who overheard their conversation, Ye Qiyan and Lisette wondered whether Matem was an outsider or a Train Conductor.
• Aishara made Ye Qiyan an honored retainer, secured registered identities for him and Lisette, and introduced them to Nephthys’s followers and their preparations for rebellion.
• The rebels planned to gather at Matem Holy City during the Matem God Festival nine days later, and Aishara’s caravan set out with mercenaries and guards.

Ye Qiyan confronted Matem, the Train Conductor posing as Matem Holy City's heavenly god, while the rebels' uprising collapsed under Matem's control. As Matem unleashed his power and spoke of becoming a true God, Ye Qiyan began to fight back with his cards and declared that he would transcend everything.

• Aishala led fewer than three thousand rebels into Matem Holy City, where the believers were praying before the giant statue.
• At the temple, a priest invited Ye Qiyan to meet Matem, while more than half the rebels—including Aishala—were forced to turn on their comrades.
• Ye Qiyan met Matem atop the statue and refused to surrender [Nephthys's Reverse Feather], then summoned his Demon Cards to battle Matem's avatars and forces.
• Matem called upon yellow sand, desert beasts, and bandits, and explained that a true God resided in the Wasteland and could be attained through transcendence.

Ye Qiyan fought Matem as the Dog-Headed Deity transformed his world into a carriage and prepared to sail through the Wasteland. As Matem claimed victory, Ye Qiyan revealed Hunt’s Transcendence Mode and challenged him to a final fight.

• Ye Qiyan’s Tear-Carving Sword destroyed Matem’s Anger Clone, and Matem recognized the weapon as a threat.
• Ye Qiyan crushed the Demon King’s Crown, and Red Tears struck Matem, cracking his scepter.
• Matem donned the dog’s head, became a Wasteland True God, and transformed his followers and clones into stronger dog-headed forms.
• Matem declared his world would become his carriage and set his locomotive sailing through the Wasteland.

Ye Qiyan defeated Matem’s attempt to reclaim Nephthys’s power and began turning the battle against him. As Matem’s doppelgangers fell, the Azure Roar Thunder Eagle remained locked in an undecided fight with the Sorrow Doppelganger.

• Matem’s fear of death awakened when Ye Qiyan’s Demon Raven bewitched him, causing Nephthys’s flames to leave his chest and reunite with the Reverse Feather and Spirit Jade.
• Hunt destroyed Nephthys’s apparent rebirth, and Ye Qiyan received the quest reward and the Train Coin for completing the transaction.
• Matem attacked Ye Qiyan with a sandstorm, but Hunt’s ring absorbed it and struck Matem, leaving wounds his powers could not heal.

• Giant Eagle drew on its yearning to help Ye Qiyan, received an immense supply of electricity, and defeated Matem’s sorrow avatar with a surge of golden lightning.
• Matem admitted Ye Qiyan had the advantage and stopped absorbing his believers’ vitality, but Red Tears struck him down before he could reveal his final trump card.
• Matem’s [Self] avatar emerged, revealed itself as the new Matem, and escaped by using the Tail-Swing Survival Module to abandon the carriage.
• Matem’s [Self] left behind the Gate of the Dead Realm, and Ye Qiyan sensed [Death] coming from behind its door.
• Demon Raven flew to the gate and devoured the first black, faceless creature that emerged.

Ye Qiyan and his allies confronted Black Shadow, a True God who emerged from the Gate of the Dead Realm and could impose death on those around him. As Ye Qiyan resisted and questioned him, Black Shadow revealed his interest in a mysterious power hidden within Ye Qiyan, then discovered that Ye Qiyan’s Bewitchment had affected him and shattered some of his Card Sequences.

• The Raven Demon devoured the black figures emerging from the Gate of the Dead Realm until a hand reached through and Black Shadow appeared.
• Black Shadow overcame the Raven Demon's and Hunt's resistance, while Red Tears attacked him with the Tear-Carving Sword and Ye Qiyan used his abilities to break free of the surrounding death.
• Black Shadow approached Ye Qiyan, then examined Matem's corpse and learned from its brain that humans were a species called human.
• Black Shadow froze Villain and demanded that Ye Qiyan stop his machines, then noticed Lisette's power and the unusual abilities and artifacts surrounding Ye Qiyan.
• Ye Qiyan used Rebellion × Bewitchment and asked Black Shadow who he was; Black Shadow identified himself as the pioneer of the Dead Realm and a True God.
• Black Shadow sensed a dazzling azure power hidden inside Ye Qiyan, then realized Bewitchment had affected him and that some of Ye Qiyan's Card Sequences had shattered.

Ye Qiyan confronted a powerful shadow from the Dead Realm, who explained that true gods were the strongest Transcenders and left the Gate of the Dead Realm in Ye Qiyan’s possession. After the shadow departed and the fallen forces were revealed, Ye Qiyan ordered the Judgment Enforcer to bring Matem’s Self-Clone back to him.

• Ye Qiyan kept Red Tears from attacking the shadow and gave him the false name Altos.
• The shadow identified the raven demons as a weak Death Omen Demon Card and said he had high hopes for Ye Qiyan.
• The shadow left the Gate of the Dead Realm with Ye Qiyan, warning that opening it would drain an entire world’s vitality.
• The shadow described true gods as the strongest Transcenders and said he looked forward to taking Ye Qiyan to the Dead Realm after his death.
• After the shadow vanished and the Demon Raven shut the door, Ye Qiyan found that Matem’s forces had fallen peacefully.
• Ye Qiyan ordered the Judgment Enforcer to bring Matem’s Self-Clone to him.

Matem's Self Doppelganger escaped the Wasteland but was dragged to Nephthys's Court, where Ye Qiyan questioned and killed him. After learning how Matem had gained a portion of a Transcender's power, Ye Qiyan declared the stop finished and waited for WALL-E.

• Matem's Self Doppelganger fled the Wasteland in the locomotive and planned to rebuild his power, but a Dark Gold Chain dragged him away.
• At Nephthys's Court, Matem recognized Ye Qiyan and was forced by [Rebellion × Bewitchment] to answer his questions.
• Matem revealed that the door came from a Level 11 Platform World and that a capsule had altered his original's Doppelganger talent.
• Matem explained that the original stole Nephthys's Undying Flame, moved his life into his believers, and manipulated them into rebelling to gain vitality and activate Wasteland Divinity.
• Ye Qiyan killed Matem with Red Tears, then gathered his Card Sequences and waited for WALL-E amid the ruined city.

Ye Qiyan secured the Gate of the Dead Realm and reviewed the gains from his stop, including Death Omen and Nephthys. A day later, he opened an enhanced Level 9 Treasure Chest and considered what to do with its magical rewards.

• Ye Qiyan stored the Gate of the Dead Realm in the Safety Box and left the ruined city's valuables for the Raven Demon and Beedrill to collect.
• Ye Qiyan noted the Raven Demon's improved strength and loyalty, then claimed a Fire-Type Ability Crystal and decided to keep Nephthys's red gem in the Livestock Carriage until it hatched.
• The next day, Ye Qiyan rested beside the Oasis while Red Tears fished and Lisette roasted a sheep.

• Ye Qiyan compared Ebony, Skyhawk, and Cool Sky Moonshadow as targets for the Soul Armament Amplification Book, then decided to see what his weapons became after ascension before choosing.
• Zhao Xi visited Monrojina in the Judgment Court and warned her that she would kill her if her plans destroyed Solo City.
• Monrojina assured Zhao Xi that her plan would not destroy Solo City, and Zhao Xi left without revealing who had warned her about the bombs.
• After Zhao Xi departed, Monrojina reasoned that Ye Qiyan had likely passed her the information and set a notification for when he could be contacted again.
• Monrojina examined Zhuxing Tu’s event brief for the City of Eternal Night, which called for slaying a God, destroying the city, killing fiends, and purifying.

Ye Qiyan used an Ultimate Ascension to turn the amplification book into one that raised Ebony to level nine, then departed the ruined city and returned to the Wasteland amid catastrophic tornadoes. He learned that the extreme weather was affecting other Train Conductors too and received a congratulatory message from Monrojina.

• Ye Qiyan performed Ultimate Ascension on the Soul Armament Amplification Book, transforming it into the Sacred Slaughter Enchanting · Weapon Enhancement Book.
• Ye Qiyan used the book to promote Ebony from level eight to level nine, then chose to save its own Ascension for a later time.
• Ye Qiyan gathered the last resources, departed through the void, and left Nephthys's Court to be renamed Dead Evil Ruins.

Ye Qiyan accepted an invitation to travel to the City of Eternal Night, then began Ascending his Train as immense tornadoes tried to stop him. When the Train’s acceleration could not overcome the wind, he activated the Surpass the Stars talent.

• Monrojina invited Ye Qiyan to choose between joining an event in Solo City or the City of Eternal Night, and he chose to travel to the City of Eternal Night without joining the event.
• Ye Qiyan received an invitation card for the Train’s next stop at the Ishiki Bloodfruit Company's exclusive Hyperspace platform and prepared to upgrade the Train.
• Ye Qiyan began Ascension while the Hunt Mecha-Dragon and several shields guarded the Train against converging tornadoes.
• Ye Qiyan used the Valstrax Drive and acceleration devices to charge into the wind, but the Train slowed as the tornadoes hindered Ascension.

Ye Qiyan completed the train’s ascension to Level 14 after pushing through the tornadoes with [Surpass the Stars]. He bought all four upgrade options, leaving himself with only two Train Coins.

He transformed a Machina · Crystal Heart into an Alliance Heart, gaining a shield effect for allied units, and began working on his next item.

• Ye Qiyan asked the system whether higher Train Levels unlocked ways to increase mental capacity or stamina, but it refused to answer because his level was insufficient.
• Zhao Lin told Ye Qiyan that Monrojina had invited her to an Imperial Sequence event; she chose Solo City because she had no way to disguise herself among the vampires in the City of Eternal Night.
• Zhao Lin reported that Li Xiaosheng was probably in the City of Eternal Night, Zhao An's guild had been crushed, and their cohort had been called the Golden Age; she also revealed that her Train Level had reached seven.

• Ye Qiyan used the enhancement card on the storage carriage, choosing [Special units] and [Safety Box] to turn it into the Oversized Safety Storage Carriage.
• Ye Qiyan installed the sublimated [Alliance Heart] in Lancelot and tested the commander unit at the Training Shooting Range.

Ye Qiyan entered the City of Eternal Night disguised as a vampire and learned about its districts and the upcoming Blood Art Festival. After borrowing money from Jeffrey, he and Lisette visited the Entertainment District, where they found humans suffering amid monstrous violence.

• Jeffrey gave Ye Qiyan four items to disguise his and Lisette’s races, and Ye Qiyan suppressed the aura of judgment that frightened Jeffrey.
• Jeffrey explained the City of Eternal Night’s six districts, its four major guilds, and the Blood Art Festival scheduled for two days later.
• Ye Qiyan borrowed three thousand Eternal Night Coins from Jeffrey and decided to explore the city before visiting the Blood God Pavilion.
• Ye Qiyan and Lisette took an octopus-monster taxi to the Entertainment District, where they witnessed murder, abuse, and human suffering.

Ye Qiyan intervened when a dying enslaved boy was tormented in the City of Eternal Night’s entertainment district and accepted the boy’s wish to die alongside his tormentors. He summoned the transcendent Hunt Mecha-Dragon and combined judgment with purification, ending with the monsters marked guilty.

• Ye Qiyan entered the entertainment district disguised as a Vampire noble, and its manager showed him the cruel attractions and introduced him to the enslaved boy being chased by Werewolves.
• When the manager whipped at the boy, Ye Qiyan used Supremacy to control the manager and make him strike himself.
• Ye Qiyan ignored the Werewolves’ offered money, freed the boy from his collar and shackles, and asked him to make a wish.
• The boy wished to die together with the monsters who had tormented him, and Ye Qiyan accepted the deal before revealing himself as a powerful human.
• As the district’s monsters rushed to attack, Ye Qiyan summoned the transcendent Hunt Mecha-Dragon, drawing on the city’s death and suffering.
• Ye Qiyan combined the Blasphemy Card · Judgment Enforcer with the Silent Purification Stone, creating a heavenly Light Screen that declared the monsters guilty.

Ye Qiyan brought a purifying sun down on the City of Eternal Night’s Entertainment District, burning its vampires and rescuing captives as he openly attacked the monsters. After destroying Fang Snake with a Transcendence Warhead, he left the wounded vampire alive and sank into the Nether Abyss.

• Ye Qiyan decided to attack the Entertainment District despite the risk of alerting powerful figures, because its monsters’ treatment of humans disgusted him.
