Ch. 54Vampire hunt

Ye Qiyan entered Tess Village through Aotantli’s secret passage and wiped out the vampires and bats with his Pure Purification Stone and Mithril Crossbow Bolts. As he realized the village’s easy victory had not revealed the level 5 vampire, the Screeching Blood Ancestor descended from a blood-red vortex.

  • Aotantli led Ye Qiyan into the secret passage, where Ye Qiyan killed a vampire bat and discovered the vampires had deliberately allowed Aotantli to escape as bait.

  • Ye Qiyan followed WALL-E's tracks to Aotantli's backyard, where WALL-E dug a battered wooden box out of a grave.

  • Donald told Ye Qiyan that the RUN Company had appeared over two hundred years earlier, accepted only Train Coins, and sold trains to people who collected enough coins.
  • Ye Qiyan wondered whether time differed between train stops and the wilderness, tried to summon a RUN Company courier, and got no response.
  • Ye Qiyan stayed aboard his train and let Donald’s party fight the elite goblin vanguard without help.

  • Ye Qiyan found that the sentry could use the javelin without spending stamina and judged it a powerful addition to the train’s defenses.

Ch. 63Demon Card · Bewitchment

Ye Qiyan left the tenth platform with WALL-E as the broadcast ended newcomer protections and unlocked new features, leaving train conductors reacting to a flood of messages and changes.

  • The princess found a single bullet on the Inverted Cross Altar and handed it to the RUN Company woman through a crystal communication device.
  • The woman accused the princess of lying because the ruins should have contained a Demon Card, then killed her when she insisted she had found only the bullet.
  • The woman concluded the princess had not lied and ordered a creature to investigate which train conductors above level 30 had recently visited the platform.
  • Ye Qiyan finished salvaging resources with WALL-E, returned to his train, and used the Leave Station Privilege to depart the tenth platform.

  • Ye Qiyan and Zhao Lin decided to visit the guild gathering area, and Zhao Lin paid for their hover taxi.
  • Ye Qiyan searched the City's Trading Platform for flame stones but found none, then arrived with Zhao Lin at a crowded plaza where guilds recruited conductors and vendors sold goods.

Ch. 69Muxiang Youren's Guidance

  • Muxiang pretended to fall asleep, then spoke with the stall owner about abandoning their trains and buying Permanent Residence Permits nine years earlier.
  • Ye Qiyan and Zhao Lin left the square, and Zhao Lin offered to sell Ye Qiyan a flame stone if she found two at the next station.

Li Xiaosheng discovered that his Resource Radar talent was common and that Guild members with it had to spend ten stops gathering resources before upgrading, so he reluctantly joined a Guild. Ye Qiyan and Zhao Lin left to enjoy the city, but a scarred man approached Ye Qiyan at a hot spring with an invitation from Shaya’s organization.

  • A white-suited Guild recruiter told Li Xiaosheng that Resource Radar was common and explained the Guild’s ten-stop collection period before he could upgrade.
