Fennis felt a surge of admiration for Xiluo.
As Xiluo looked down at all the elves' expressions, a smile gradually spread across his face.
"Well? Do you understand the greatness of workers now?"
"We understand! For the future of Green Forest! For our descendants! We'll work hard!"
The elves were brimming with determination.
Beside them, Fennis looked deeply gratified and said happily:
"Lord Xiluo! What you said makes so much sense! From now on, we'll take pride in working and feel ashamed of idling away our time in comfort!
"But aside from Magic Infusion, what else can we all do?
"We hope you'll continue to show us the way, Lord Xiluo!"
"Hmm, I'm glad you've come to this realization.
"As for other paths,
"I do have a few ideas.
"Come with me!"
With that, Xiluo led the dozen or so elves toward the city.
Along the way,
the subjects greeted him one after another, their eyes constantly straying toward the somewhat scantily clad elves.
For a time, heavy breathing rose and fell all around them.
The elves felt somewhat displeased by this.
Still, they endured it well.
Soon, they entered the inner city.
The Red Dragon Whelp glanced at Xiluo and the elves before saying:
"The fight's over, so I won't get involved in what comes next. I'm heading back to the Military Camp!"
The Red Dragon Whelp had no interest in what followed and flew away immediately after speaking.
Abel was next. He muttered:
"I only barely managed ten today... I'll have to work harder... Sigh... Getting those inferior bloodlines to produce dragon bloodlines is just too difficult.
"Xiluo, I'm leaving too."
With that, the Blue Dragon Wyrmling flew away as well.
Watching Abel's figure recede into the distance,
Xiluo was somewhat speechless.
